My background is in software engineering and architecture, but most of my work has lived where product requirements, developer tooling, infrastructure, delivery process, and team structure all meet. I have run full technology functions end-to-end: development, architecture, DevOps, delivery, hiring, vendor strategy, and operational structure. Caminar entre aquests camps és una de les experiències més belles i relaxants que hi ha: una invitació directa a viure el moment present. Un dia ple de màgia! **DISSABTE 4/7** **Mercat d’Apt · Bosc de cedres** Al matí visitarem el **mercat setmanal d’Apt**, una explosió de colors, aromes i música pels carrers d’un poble típic provençal. A la tarda, passejarem pel **bosc de cedres** del Parc Natural del Luberon (4,5 km / 90 m desnivell), un indret fresc i ple de màgia per connectar amb la natura. **DIUMENGE 5/7** **Sault i la Festa de la Lavanda** Posarem rumb a **Sault**, on el primer diumenge de juliol s’hi celebra la “Fête de la Lavande”. Farem una caminada (11 km / 280 m desnivell) amb un productor local que ens explicarà els secrets del cultiu i la destil·lació de la lavanda. Després, temps lliure per gaudir d'aquesta meravellosa festa envoltats d'alguns dels camps més importants de lavanda fina, la reina de les lavandes. **DILLUNS 6/7** **Roussillon, el camí dels ocres i tornada cap a BCN** Aquest últim dia anirem a **Roussillon**, classificat com un dels pobles més bonics de França, famós pels seus tons d’ocre. The route starts at Refugi de Malniu, a mountain refuge surrounded by open alpine landscapes, pastures, streams and small lakes. From there, we’ll begin the ascent following the normal route towards Coll de Molleres, gradually gaining altitude with wide views over the Cerdanya valley and the surrounding Pyrenean peaks. As we climb higher, the landscape becomes more open and mineral, with the final section taking us towards the summit area of Puigpedrós. Reaching the top is the big reward of the day: a spacious high-mountain summit with impressive views over the eastern Pyrenees, the Cerdanya, Andorra and the French side of the range. Uno de los highlights de la ruta en kayak es la Cova del Castellar, una joya escondida que os sorprenderá por su belleza natural y sus impresionantes formaciones rocosas. Most people use LLMs by feel: ask a question, read the answer, decide whether it “seems good,” and move on. That works for casual use. It does not work when you are building software, automating workflows, writing important documents, or relying on AI for anything that needs to be repeatable. In this talk, we’ll look at how to improve and evaluate the inputs and outputs of LLMs using practical measurement techniques. We’ll cover how prompt changes affect results, how to compare outputs, how to build simple evaluation sets, and how math-based methods like similarity scoring can help you move beyond guesswork. This will be beginner-friendly, so even if you don't know anything about AI, you should get something out of it. However, this will be a little more technical than our intro talks. You do not need to be an AI researcher, but programmers and technically curious attendees will get a lot out of it. We’ll cover: * Why “it looks good” is not enough * How to improve prompts by changing the input, context, and constraints * How to compare LLM outputs more systematically * Basic evaluation techniques for accuracy, consistency, and usefulness * How embeddings, cosine similarity, and scoring can help evaluate results * Where automated evaluation works — and where humans still need to stay in the loop By the end, you’ll have a practical mental model for treating LLMs less like magic and more like systems you can test, measure, and improve.
