Join a **beginner-friendly Taijiquan (Tai Chi Chuan) class** focused on health, movement, and steady learning. No prior martial arts experience is required. These are **FREE weekly meetups** covering the fundamentals of **Chen Style Hunyuan Taijiquan**, including basic alignment, breath and intent coordination, and introductory work on **24 & 48 Fist Forms**, **48 Sword Form**, **push-hands**, and **qigong**. **For ages 4 and above.** Beginner classes will emphasize on fundamental skating techniques which will equip you with basic skills such as stopping, turning and speed control. Intermediate classes will tap onto the basics and expand the skills with diverse alternatives that will bring you to the next level of skating independently. Expert classes are for students with the bare minimum for outdoor skating and would like to take it to a higher level. There is no fixed number of classes for each level as we understand the learning rate of every individual varies. Short North Street Skates return Saturday, April 4 and we’re excited to get back rolling together. These weekly rollouts are a chance to move through the city as a group, build community, and create more visibility for skating and small-wheeled movement in Columbus.
