## [BOOK HERE!!!](https://www.universe.com/events/english-stand-up-comedy-show-monday-night-laughs-the-comedy-pub-tickets-0NML7Q?ref=MeetUp)
Monday Night Laughs: Viennaâs English stand-up open mic! Watch & perform every Monday at The Comedy Pub. Free entry, cozy vibe, endless laug
Viennaâs English Stand-Up Comedy Open Mic â Every Monday at The Comedy Pub
## đ Mondays Donât Have to Suck
The weekend might be over â but the laughter doesnât stop.
Welcome to **Monday Night Laughs**, Viennaâs cozy and community-driven **English stand-up comedy open mic**, where locals, expats, and travelers come together to kick off the week with big laughs and good vibes.
Every Monday night, *The Comedy Pub Vienna* turns into a creative playground for comedians and comedy lovers alike.
Whether itâs your first time at a show or your tenth, youâll feel right at home.
Forget Netflix. Forget the Monday blues.
This is your weekly reminder that laughter fixes everything â especially on a Monday.
## đ What Is *Monday Night Laughs*?
Itâs not a fancy showcase or a big-ticket headliner night. Itâs something much better â itâs *real*.
Here, the mic is open, the drinks are cold, and the laughter is honest.
Youâll see comedians from all over the world â from total beginners testing their first five minutes to experienced performers working out new jokes for their next tour.
No two shows are ever the same. One moment youâll hear a joke about Austrian bureaucracy, the next about dating disasters in Spain or cultural shocks in Tokyo.
Itâs raw, spontaneous, and absolutely unpredictable â the way live comedy is meant to be.
And because itâs all happening in English, the night draws a wonderfully mixed crowd: locals, internationals, and everyone in between.
## đïž For Performers
If youâve ever thought, *âI could do that,â* this is your sign.
*Monday Night Laughs* is one of Viennaâs most supportive and encouraging open mics for new comedians.
No judgment, no pressure â just a room full of people who love to laugh and want you to succeed.
Itâs the perfect place to try stand-up for the first time, or to test new material before your next big show.
The vibe is friendly, relaxed, and full of creative energy â comedy at its purest form.
Sign-up is open before the show â come early, grab a drink, and put your name down. Who knows? You might be the next crowd favorite.
## đ€ For the Audience
If you just want to watch, youâre in for a treat.
This is one of Viennaâs most authentic live experiences â a place where you can laugh, relax, and see the future stars of stand-up before they blow up.
Youâll witness comedy in its rawest form: jokes being born, ideas taking shape, and performers finding their voice.
Sometimes itâs perfect, sometimes itâs weird â but itâs *always* fun.
Grab a beer, find a seat, and enjoy a night full of unpredictable laughter.
## đ» The Atmosphere
The Comedy Pub isnât just a venue â itâs a community.
Itâs the heart of Viennaâs growing stand-up scene, a space where people come together to connect, perform, and laugh without judgment.
The audience cheers each performer, the comedians support one another, and the whole night feels like hanging out with friends who happen to be hilarious.
Itâs the kind of Monday night youâll want to make a tradition.
## đ The Venue: The Comedy Pub Vienna
đ **KettenbrĂŒckengasse 7, 1050 Vienna**
Nestled in the heart of Viennaâs 5th district, *The Comedy Pub* is the cityâs only dedicated stand-up comedy club â a cozy Irish-style bar with warm lighting, a friendly crowd, and the perfect stage for laughter.
đ» A full bar with great drinks
đ Intimate setting with front-row energy
đ A melting pot of locals, expats & travelers
đȘ First come, first seated â so come early!

Unter anderem möchten wir folgende Aspekte ansprechen:

**=> English:**
We are excited to launch Queer Talks as a new and extended format of our regular Get-Together at LGBTQ+ Friends Vienna. Alongside socialising and meeting new people, this format creates space for meaningful conversations on topics that matter to our community.
For this edition, we welcome Manuel Wendl for a moderated stage conversation on queer health and wellbeing.
Please note: This time, the main conversation will be held in German. At the same time, we want everyone to feel included, so the most important insights will be regularly summarised in English throughout the talk. The social Get-Together part of the evening is also intentionally multilingual, making it easier for both German- and English-speaking guests to connect.
After the talk, there will be time for questions in English from the audience, followed by an open and relaxed networking part.
Free Entry - a voluntary contribution welcome to keep the group active.

Bad Girls Book Club April 2026
**Our April novel is: *The Hong Kong Widow* by Kristen Loesch**
**This monthâs novel blends gothic atmosphere with historical fiction and chilling horror, set against the haunting backdrop of China. The book is 368 pages in print and 10 hours and 42 minutes on audiobook.**
In 1950s Hong Kong, Mei is a young refugee of the Chinese Communist revolution struggling to put her past in Shanghai behind her. When she receives a shocking invitationâto take part in a competition in one of the city's most notorious haunted houses, pitting six spirit mediums against one another in a series of six sĂ©ances over six nights, until a single winner emergesâshe has every reason to refuse.
Except that the hostess, a former Shanghainese silent film star, is none other than the wife of the man who once destroyed Meiâs entire life.
It is promised the winner will receive a fortune, but there is only one prize Mei wants: revenge.
Decades later, the final night of that competition has become an infamous urban legend: The police were called to the scene of a brutal massacre but found no evidence, dismissing it as a collective hallucination. Mei knows what she saw, but now someone else is convinced they know what she did. She must uncover the truth about the last night she ever spent in that houseâeven if the ghosts of her past are waiting for her there. . . .

April Book Club Meetup
Welcome, readers!
Our April read is **_Martyr!_ by Kaveh Akbar.**
The story follows a young Iranian American poet grappling with grief, addiction, and the aching question of what makes a life meaningful. Drawn into an unexpected friendship with a terminally ill artist, he begins to confront faith, love, and the seduction of self-destruction. Lyrical, darkly funny, and emotionally piercing, the novel wrestles with beauty and despair in equal measure. Itâs a story about longingâto be seen, to be forgiven, and to matter.
Looking forward to discussing with everyone!
We will meet at Zaftig Brewing Co in their event room in the back. We are welcome to bring in our own food, but **drinks must be purchased at the bar.**
Happy reading! đ
