A lovely session of music and song in a relaxed and supportive environment. All levels of musician and singer welcome. You can come and sing or play one song or just come and listen to the other members. Great way to build up your playing skills and build up your confidence. We don't pay the bar for this session, so make sure you buy at least one drink. Charge €2.

Our meditation drop-in class is designed for those new to meditation or returning to practice. The 1 hour 15 minute session includes input on meditation and the Dharma, a led meditation, and time for questions and discussion. A welcoming space to learn, practice, and connect with others. **Practical details** The night will start at 7pm sharp so arrive a little early to ensure a punctual start. **7 pm** – Welcome & introduction to the meditation practice **7.15 pm** – Led meditation followed by space for questions **7.55 pm** – Short talk on aspect of meditation or Buddhism **8.15 pm** – Finish This event is for: * Those totally new to meditation or Buddhism * Meditators or Buddhists with some experience who want to visit the Dublin Buddhist Centre for the first time. All our Drop-in Meditation Nights are led by experienced members of the Triratna Buddhist Community. No need to book in advance, just show up a few minutes before we start at 7pm. On a donation basis. **Why meditate with others?** Meditation can help you pause, notice what’s happening in your mind and body, and build greater calm, clarity, and self-awareness - particularly important in a busy, demanding world. Meditation isn’t about emptying your mind or getting it “right,” but about paying attention to your own experience, just as it is. Learning and practicing meditation with other people can deepen this experience. Practicing together creates a sense of connection and shared understanding, reminding you that everyone’s experience is different and that there’s no single right way to meditate. Being part of a group can offer encouragement, structure, and a feeling of support, making the practice more sustainable and meaningful over time.

This event is open to all for casual practice. However, coaching is not provided. 2 hrs of climbing is usually followed by a pint at Rascals :) About Gravity Climbing Gym: * **For anyone new to Gravity, they ask that you must have climbed at least 6 times in the last year or that you book an induction session directly with Gravity** (€28) https://www.gravityclimbing.ie/inductions If you like you can book your induction for the same time as this meetup and join us after (if available). -You'll also need to sign their digital waiver ahead of climbing for your first time at the gym. Sangha (or 'spiritual community') Night is a chance for those practicing meditation and Buddhism to come together. The evening usually consists of a period of meditation, a talk about Buddhism and a Puja after a short tea-break. **Practical details:** The night will start at 7pm sharp so arrive a little early to ensure a punctual start. **7 pm** – Meditation **7.25 pm** – Talk with Questions and Answers **8.10 pm** – Tea-Break **8.30 pm** – Puja **9.15 pm** – Finish This event is for: * Sangha members both new and long-standing. * Meditators or Buddhists with some experience who want to visit the Dublin Buddhist Centre for the first time. * Those totally new to meditation or Buddhism who want to jump in at the deep-end. Each month there will be an overarching theme, and each week will be a Buddhist Talk on some aspect of that theme. All our Sangha Nights are led by members of the Triratna Buddhist Order. Meet up, Warm up, and Get Moving to Get Fit :)
We will start the session with some light stretching exercises to warm us up, and help to prepare us for the run. The pace of the run will be steady, depending on who is running with us on the day. Days when we have a large group we may break into multiple groups, each operating independently at their own pace. Saturdays are good for intermediate runners, and is usually a 10km run, again at a steady pace. If you're looking to get into running, come along on Tuesday or Thursday mornings and I will coach you, at your pace, to get you up to running (jogging) to 5km without stops. The only thing I will ask, if you're a beginner, is that you're able to walk for approx 30 minutes at a relaxed pace. PLEASE NOTE: That, if you RSVP a particular event, then please ensure that you attend, as there may be other members relying on you for company on the run. IMPORTANT NOTE: Any run or activity that you participate in with the group will be at your own risk. Usually we have a post run (after our cool down) coffee in the Dash container at the Hole in the Wall pub.

So, this week, it's back to **Ranelagh, and McSorleys** is the venue after you've enjoyed a run in the warm spring air, (We live in Hope!), so gather up ye Spring Spirit and enjoy the evening, it will soon be light, and the rain may even stop. For newcomers, our Group Runs are great fun, safe for all, and once the run is complete, we can share a beer, have a good chat, make new friends, and look forward to the following week.
