This is a fun quiz with varied topics, but it normally does not have many sports questions. Team can have up to six. I need to book tables ahead so please RSVP early if possible.

\*\*\* Winner will get a $20 admission fee refund! Karen will be hosting a Texas Hold'em session on that night. It's a non-gambling session, everyone is welcome to join! Newbies are welcome too, as rules will be explained on the spot! Texas Hold'em is the most popular variation of the card game poker. In this game, each player receives two private "hole cards" and then five community cards are dealt face up in the middle of the table. Players combine their hole cards with the community cards to make the best five-card poker hand. The goal is to have the best hand at the showdown or to force all other players to fold. Here's a breakdown of the game: 1\. Hand Formation: * Each player gets two private "hole cards". * Five community cards are dealt face up in the center of the table. * Players combine their two hole cards with the five community cards to make their best five-card hand. 2\. Betting Rounds: * Texas Hold'em has multiple betting rounds: pre-flop, flop, turn, and river. * Players can bet, raise, call, or fold during each round. 3\. Winning the Pot: * The player with the best five-card hand at the showdown wins the pot. * The pot can also be won if all other players fold before the showdown. Venue Fees: $100 / Ladies $80 (a complimentary drink is included) No show: No show will definitely be removed from the group. (Altogether 101 members have been removed from our groups so far due to no show.)

CRUISE is a cool spot with a nice terrace overlooking the harbour. A perfect spot for ladies' drinks and interesting to choose a non Central location. I expect Tuesd evening shouldn't be too busy. Just come along for casual drinks and a chat. Food is available if you want to eat . Please buy at least one drink. Bills individually paid. I can't book, but will try to keep spots on arrival. Location is very near MTR exit, so it's convenient to find.

Hi there everybody! We invite you all to come enjoy Peng Chau island to our next movie night on 22th of March. This time we will watch our first Ecuadorian movie. We have chosen two movies from Ecuador, one short and another longer. The first short is called 'Willkawiwa (The Sacred Fire of the Dead) (2022)' from director Pavés Quevedo Ullauri. The second long movie is called 'Ozogoche' (2023) from director Joe Houlberg: Cuviví is the Ecuadorean indigenous name for the upland sandpiper, a wading bird that has special significance for the communities living around the Ozogoche lakes in the middle of the Andes. The movie will have English subtitles. If you want to watch a Ecuadorian movie for the first time come and enjoy! We will start the movie at 7pm till 9pm in a terrace in Peng Chau. There is a ferry at 5:50pm from Central Pier N6 and arrives in Peng Chau at 6:30pm. I can meet people at the pier at 6:30pm. Or if you want to spend the day in Peng Chau and meet each other afterwards that's also fine! Please let me know if you are coming beforehand so we can prepare for us to meet and take you to the address. We want to encourage discussion about the movie and its theme afterwards. A fun way to compare wines from two different countries at a time. House Wine is squaring off two countries' wines against each other each Thursday in March.
