Hike near Zürich „Sihlwald hiking trail – Sihlwald forest trail loop from Horgen“ Brief description: Once we arrive at the train station at the starting point near Lake Zürich, we leave the village behind and climb steadily through the forest. Once we reach the ridge, we make a detour to a lookout point from which we can see Lake Zug. We then hike along the well-maintained path along the ridge for some time until we reach Albishorn. Once there, we slowly and steadily descend back towards the starting point. Welcome cold lovers! We have been practising cold water plunges for over 4 years. We believe in the benefits of cold water exposure. The feeling you get after the swim is magnificent, it makes you feel alive. We have started this group to safely experience the cold water together. We motivate each other, do active warmup exercises, and also share our life stories with a warm coffee/tea afterwards. The event is every Sunday at 11:30, we meet at the Mythenquai Badi entrance no matter the weather. Take along: a large towel, comfortable bathing suit, flip-flops, and warm clothes (hat, gloves, etc). If you’re planning swimming out take along a bright swim buoy. The event is Free. IMPORTANT: Every participant takes responsibility for themselves when attending this event. Before attempting cold water exposure, individuals with health conditions (e.g., heart problems or hypertension) should seek advice from a healthcare professional. Safely acclimating the body to cold temperatures requires preparation and gradual exposure.
