Deep Work - When Lightning Strikes
**THEME**
At this Deep Work we'll explore **how to tune in to the quiet whispers — and the thunderclaps — that life sends our way.**
When Lightning Strikes invites us to **recognise the moments of divine inspiration hiding in plain sight, and learn to trust** the nudges, signs and sudden illuminations that point us toward our truest path.
**TIMING**
\*Please arrive by 7:00PM for a 7:15PM start.
The event will conclude at 8:45PM.
**SETUP**
You will be seated in small groups of about 5 people. We encourage you to sit with people that you don't yet know. :)

* Standard Tickets - $20
For all tickets, we're happy to provide full refunds for any cancellations received with 48+ hours notice.
We will be serving tea, biscuits and soft drinks.
**PROGRAM**
Through carefully selected quotes and interactive discussions, we will:
* Explore the art of deep listening — how to distinguish between the noise of the world and the still, small voice within
* **Share stories, laughter and insights:** the hunches we followed, the signs we almost missed, and the unexpected sparks that changed everything
* **Create casual and fun art** that captures a moment of personal inspiration — a flash of insight rendered in colour, word or form
* Develop practical ways to **cultivate receptivity** in our daily work lives — slowing down enough to hear what the universe might be trying to tell us
Come ready to reflect, share and listen — to each other, and perhaps to something a little beyond. **Leave with fresh eyes for the guidance already surrounding you, and the courage to act on it.**
**PARKING**
2P parking is available directly adjacent to the venue. [Use this link to navigate there.](https://maps.app.goo.gl/wY8cyfrbZxKnireeA)

**Please be advised that the following film contains images and/or audio of deceased persons and stories of sexual abuse.**
[The Eternal Song,](https://theeternalsong.org/) the first in a 12-film documentary series, is a cinematic journey through timeless lands and Indigenous cultures. Voices from across generations and traditions invite us to witness the enduring scars of colonization on lands and peoples, and the healing pathways carried through ancestral wisdom.
Entrusted with medicine stories, the film grapples with colonial legacies, intergenerational trauma, and the culture of separation that fragments our lives.
The film reveals how modernity severs our connection to nature, each other, and the ancestral realm, while feeding us empty promises of salvation, unlimited consumption and economic growth, and individual happiness.
As we are drawn into the intricate web of kinship and honoring the living presence of Mother Earth, we awaken a deeper remembrance. A sacred dance comes to life and we begin to hear the eternal song of Life itself, calling us back to belonging.
You can watch the trailer [here](https://theeternalsong.org/).
SomaPsycheSpace (Medicare/NDIS)
Somatic psychotherapy is starting to feel like the psychology of our time. Both ancient and emerging, it has proven distinctly helpful for people seeking to change unhelpful coping strategies, regulate dysregulated emotions, and reconnect with the body and authentic self. Especially for those who didn’t find the change they were seeking through conventional talk therapies.
This work combines physical practices with consciousness-expanding techniques. In deeply embodied states, the body can reveal an innate wisdom that guides us toward profound relaxation and can spontaneously complete, release, or integrate stuck, immobilised survival responses.
These experiences can cultivate peak states that support lasting transformation and deep healing.
Doing this sacred work in community adds another layer of richness, offering a deep sense of connection and belonging.
Because somatic work is not a one size fits all,
Adarsa is aiming to diversify the work, by offering an *Ouroboric,* high activation class and a *Lotus* gentle, regulatory class.
**Ouroboric Classes** (High Activation): Designed for those experiencing hyperarousal—anxiety, restlessness, racing thoughts, hypervigilance, and difficulty relaxing. These dynamic sessions provide a safe container to mine the body for the unhelpful stories it’s been carrying—through vigorous movement and breathwork—so we can go to the root of discomfort and allow it to shift.
**Lotus Classes** (Gentle Regulation): Created for those in hypoarousal states—shutdown, dissociation, numbness, fatigue, and depression. These nurturing sessions gently awaken the system and gradually build capacity for feeling and presence.
Each class integrates:
* Somatic practices tailored to your nervous system state
* Yoga and mindful movement
* Transformative breathwork
* Guided meditation
* Art therapy for integration
* Community connection and sharing
Join us in discovering which pathway serves your unique healing journey.
**Affordable Access Through Medicare & NDIS**
💚 **Mental Health Care Plan holders:** Access 10 group sessions with almost the entire class fee covered by Medicare.
💙 **NDIS participants:** Full class fees covered under your NDIS funding.

Those Who Walked Into My Life
Once a month, we gather to explore ourselves, our relationships, and the stories we carry through psychodrama, sociometry, and group experience.
每个月一次,我们聚在一起,透过心理剧、社会计量,通过团体来探索自己、探索关系。
Sometimes we explore important relationships—those we are living with now, those we have lost, and those that continue to shape us.
Sometimes we begin with a seemingly ordinary moment or a surreal image and discover how deeply it connects to our lives.
有时,我们会谈到复杂的人家关系;那些正在经历的,已经过去的;
有时,我们会谈到选择、改变与成长。
有时,我们会从一个微不足道的瞬间出发,去寻找它与我们生命的相连。
Whether you are interested in personal growth, understanding yourself more deeply, exploring relationships, or simply meeting people who are willing to engage in genuine conversation, there is a place for you here.
无论你希望探索一些内心更深层的东西,还是单纯想认识一些愿意真诚交流的人,这里都为你留有一个位置。
No Performance, No psychology background or psychodrama experience is required.
你不需要表演,不需要有心理学背景,也不需要有心理剧经验。
We simply invite you to step out of the busyness of everyday life, spend some time with yourself, connect with others, and see life from a different perspective.
我们只是邀请你,在忙碌的生活之外,留一点时间给自己,给自己一个从不同角度看待自己,看待生活的机会。

Want to Truly Heal from Emotional Trauma?
Why are we unhappy? Where does emotional pain come from? Studies show that people who suffer from long-term emotional pain have painful experiences in their lives that were never fully resolved in their mind. In other words, there were issues in the past that were not completely dealt with. This can include abuse in childhood, breakups, divorce, death of a loved one, to name a few.
How do you know whether you have gotten over something painful? Here is an easy test: Do you still have attention on what had happened to you? For instance, do you still find yourself thinking about something painful that you went through? If you are, then you are not over it. In fact, in severe cases, people find themselves playing a "tape" in their mind over and over again.
So how do you heal from your past? How do you stop the "tape" playing in your mind? In this meeting, you will learn a technique to help you with that.
Come join us! Be sure to click on the red "Attend" button below to come to this local event. We look forward to seeing you there.

Free In-Person Events: How to Let Go of the Past and Move Forward
The emotional pain from past bad experiences easily lingers in the present, making it hard to enjoy life and create your future. Even when you think you've moved on, the negative emotions can be triggered, sending you back into the pain of that experience.
And we are talking about pain; emotions such as grief, depression, anxiety, fear (or terror), boiling anger, simmering resentment, feelings of shame, blaming and regret can leave you incapacitated to a greater or lesser degree.
In this local event we will be discussing the reasons why these past bad experiences have the power to affect you long after they occurred. We'll go over why the emotional pain can be so strong. We'll also discuss some simple solutions to overcome your emotional pain and be free to fully enjoy your life again.
Examples of painful experiences include:
* A broken relationship or divorce.
* Death or loss of a loved one.
* Death of a pet.
* A sudden shock or bad news.
* A betrayal.
* Being part of an abusive relationship.
* A bad injustice.
* Loss of a job, position or business.
* A grave illness or injury.
The negative emotions from these experiences don't just go away on their own. But the good news is there is a way to clear them out of your way.
Be sure to click on the red "Attend" button below to come to this local event. We look forward to seeing you there.
This group is sponsored the Dianetics & Scientology Self-Improvement Center.

Free In-Person Meeting: Healing from Trauma and Past Betrayals
This is a free, in person meeting.
Burdened by a stressful relationship? Unhealthy relationships can trigger feelings of anger, despair or self-doubt. They can create dwindling spirals of fights and seeking to make-up, or trying to “pin the blame” on someone or something. If you don’t find the RIGHT reasons, or select the correct sources of the problem, the problem can just get worse and worse.
Whether in love or personal ties, with friends or at work, our life really IS affected by the quality of our relationships. Good ones can promote pleasure and survival while less optimum ones can lead to annoyance, anger, self-doubt, stress, or even affect our health and ability to survive well.
Whether you are suffering from a divorce, or a painful break-up, don’t know who to trust (or who to CHOOSE) as a partner, friend, boss or employee - the anxiety of relationship troubles can really make a mess of things. Maybe you’ve suffered a betrayal, or are dealing with hostility or criticalness or invalidation. Dwindling relationships can involve destructive behavior, where we hurt those we love, or start succumbing to self-destructive thoughts, attitudes or behaviors that spiral out of control and affect much more than our immediate relationship.
Past losses in love or life can affect how we act or react to new people and situations and hold us back from even starting to create new, possibly great relationships! How can one get back onto a saner course of action?
Come to our Meetup, where we can introduce you to some of the knowledge, tools and techniques of the breakthroughs in the field of the mind that we can apply to this ever important area of life: human relationships!
Break free from self imposed limitations
Here we will discuss:
• How to “erase” the trauma of past hurts and betrayals so that one isn’t always repeating past mistakes.
• Why and how do the negative emotions of others affect you?
• Why is my partner withdrawing and what can I do about it?
• Why do we sometimes feel compelled to hurt the ones we love?
• Fights & arguments - what's really behind them?
• What underlies “corrosive criticism” or the need to invalidate self or others?
• How one can stably change one’s outlook on life so they can affect positive change?
• Where do compulsive destructive behaviors come from and what can be done about them?
• How to form closer bonds & keep growing the relationships with the people you care about?
• How to enhance one’s own ability to survive and create positive healthy relationships whether in love, family & friendships or in work, business or one’s career?
Relationships can be hard and life itself IS challenging. Why not arm yourself with the knowledge and breakthroughs that have been made about the mind, mental reactions & interpersonal relationships, so that one has better awareness and control over themselves and life in general.
Learn where painful experiences are “stored” and how they can unknowingly affect us. You will also find out how one can “erase” those past painful experiences so that one is free to move forward without being tripped up by the past. Learn too, about what can lead some people to become “toxic” personalities and how to identify those traits in others so you won’t be tripped up trusting the wrong person.
Our free Meet-ups occur in a safe environment where one can learn, without fear of judgment or criticism, and without the recommendation of harmful mental techniques or therapies, just how YOU can get yourself onto a happier & more successful path: in love & in life.
We look forward to having you join us!
This class is sponsored by the Dianetics & Scientology Life Improvement Center of Central Ohio.
Take Control Of Your Life, Freedom From Negative Thoughts & Irrational Emotions
Feeling down? Sometimes depressed? Can't focus? Negativity & stress? Recent losses? Creativity in career and personal life hindered by mental blocks? Sometimes we never fully recover from traumatic experiences.
Whether it was yesterday, last week or a year ago, traumatic experiences - a loss of a loved one, losing a job, a breakup - can leave you scarred. You talk about it and feel a little better, but it never goes away. After you hang up the phone, it's still there; the sadness, the cloud, the over-thinking, the worry, the guilt. You try to focus, but you're blocked. You try to look forward into new experiences, new relationships but a cloud is hanging over you, casting a shadow on what you once considered a bright, cheerful future.
What happened to your courage? Your strength of character? You're 'why not' attitude? Whoever said 'time heals' must have had a special time machine, because after weeks, months, years, you're wondering - when exactly does that kick in? Sometimes it seems like drinking or drugs are the way to go. But they wear off, and now the problem is still there with added side effects from the drugs.
At this free local Meetup event we will talk about:
* What causes grief, anxiety and depression to become chronic.
* Is it possible to regain your joy and happiness even after traumatic experiences?
* How to break away from negativity and focus on the future
* What are the steps to take to get control of your mind and your emotions?
Learn about a safe, gentle, do-it-yourself counseling that can be done in the comfort of your own home.
Let's explore safe, effective solutions for healing from traumatic experiences.
Be sure to click on the red "Attend" button below to come to the event. We look forward to seeing you there.
