Luckily, there is a solution where we can still go hiking, and not be boiled alive: doing it at night. This of course comes at the cost of not being able to fully see the beauty of nature. We'll start from Normafa at sunset, to avoid the major heatwave, and descend to Tündér-szikla, catching a view of Budapest in the last rays of sunlight. Then we'll head into the dark forest and walk without seeing much of anything, as is typical at night, until we reach Kaán Károly-kilátó, where a spectacular panorama filled with city lights awaits us. We'll take the bus from Szépjuhászné back. After the hike, around 11 PM, I invite you to grab a drink at a bar near Széll Kálmán tér. 🎒 **Bring** \- Drinking water\. \- Comfortable shoes and clothes for a walk in nature\. **Shark Week Kick Off -** In celebration of Shark Week (and to honor Nick's favorite animal, just after humans and bigfoot) we will serve shark themed wines and play the theme to Jaws in the background as our wittier members blurt out puns such as "I think we're going to need a bigger..." glass of wine... Shark Week runs from **Sunday, July 26, through Saturday, August 1, 2026**. The eight-day programming event will air on the Discovery Channel. **Sample 4 different wines** this Friday for $15 (cash or Venmo only please). Glasses are provided. Bring a snack to share. Bring a bottle to share if you care to. See all the details below for the Hilliard Wine Club Wine Tasting. In Person. In Real Life. Actual Wine from glass bottles with corks and everything. **Wine**: Tastings will be $15 for four samples (cash or Venmo only please).
