"Costumed Wine Tasting" Murder Mystery with Cupid Fantasy Theme costumes
"Costumed Wine Tasting" Murder Mystery with Cupid Fantasy Theme costumes
This is the third year the Girato nel Buio Winery has released " **Cupid's Love Bolt** ". This limited edition wine vintage has, in the past, been met with mixed reviews, however the winery's release parties have always gotten Excellent tabloid coverage (which the winery considers to be effective and free advertising!) due to the winery's encouraging attendees' indiscreet behavior and risqué costumes. But after the prestigious guests have arrived and are all awaiting the announcement of the beginning of the tasting, a man is found dead in the cellars! Who killed him? Why? There are many secrets to uncover as YOU and the other Guests continue to sample the wines, question each other, talk together, laugh, and share insights you've gotten, in your attempt to solve the Murder at the Winery! \-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\- As **only the most flamboyantly-costumed and well-connected** have ever been invited to attend these annual release parties, YOU feel most complimented when **YOU received the following note from the Girato nel Buio winery:** "Dearest Friend, "Enclosed, please find your **Costume-Required invitation** to our exclusive, annual tasting event at **Girato nel Buio Winery**! "On the eve of our winery's launch of its exclusive, limited 2026 edition vintage, "***Cupid's Love Bolt -A wine shot that says 'I don't bite, you know...unless it's called for...'*** ", we at the Girato nel Buio Winery are opening our doors for YOU to attend this year's annual, and Very Private, Costumed Celebration and tasting! "We look forward to your RSVP, seeing your Cupid/Fantasy-related costume, and you coming to share our newest vintage "Cupid" wine with us and just a few of our closest friends! "Sent Most Sincerely, ...the Proud Owners of the Girato nel Buio Winery! " \-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\- **Our "Costumed Murder Mystery Party and Pot Luck" meetup group gets a "5 STAR" rating every time!** Why? Have YOU ever been to a Party where · You get a wine-tasting **cup with lights inside**? · **Balloons** and **themed cutouts** covering the walls? · **Murder Mystery Prizes** for Costumes, Investigators, and Suspects? · SELFIES with **7-foot “winery/bar” backdrop** (YOU and new friends?)? · A **customized “Cupid, a Fantasy” wine** for tasting? Yes, I’m going “all out” for this **TRIPLE ATTRACTION PARTY**: -a **Costumed Wine Tasting** and a **Murder Mystery** and a **Pot Luck Dinner** together! **I want MORE ATTENDEES** so this Costumed Murder Mystery Party (**in just 5 days!**) will be the **BEST ONE YET!** Most of the required roles are for **WOMEN** (**YES, we need more women!**), and **we need a few more MEN, too!** **Come!** **Join us!** **\*Costume-up** (see below if you need costume ideas), and **Bring a Pot Luck entrée to share!** (...and your favorite wine to taste/compare?) \-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\- To help you know what to expect, here's a brief review the mechanics of our upcoming Murder Mystery Party: **At 4:30**, everyone should **show up as close as possible to the 4:30 start time and drop off their contribution to the Party's Pot Luck buffet dinner table.** Drinks are BYOB. **Soon after you arrive**, you'll have a choice of a specific Suspect character’s name, a very short description who your Suspect character is, and what your character knows about the murder. If all the Suspect roles have already been taken or you'd prefer not to be a Suspect, then you can be just one of several generic murder "Investigators". (Note: "SUSPECTS" also are "Investigators", trying to sleuth-out who committed the murder, because until the end of the party, NO ONE knows who was the actual murderer!) **From 4:30 – 5:00**, you can mingle/get to know the other guests at the Murder Mystery Party while imbibing whatever BYOB you've brought. **Around 5:00**, everyone will sit down together and enjoy the Pot Luck dinner, talking and eating together whatever main course (or favorite side dish or salad) selections folks brought to share. **Promptly at 6:00**, the Murder Mystery will start with an announcement that a body has been found at the party scene and that everyone should help the investigation by asking/talking to everyone else to uncover the clues and find out who among us is most likely to be guilty of the murder. (Note 2: Everyone can continue snacking from the buffet table and enjoying their beverages throughout the Murder Mystery.) **Around 8:30** everyone will submit a secret ballot who they think is the murderer. **Finally, around 9:00**, the announcement will be made which of us actually did commit the crime! \-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\- **Remember:** **you’re coming to our Murder Mystery Party to LAUGH and have FUN –wear a unique costume you feel happy showing-off in.** I've led several Costumed Murder Mystery Parties (see the pictures across the event sites), and EVERYONE has had a GREAT TIME! I'm looking forward to seeing YOU and ensuring **YOU'LL have a FUN and MEMORABLE time** along with everyone else at our Party! \-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\- **Costume examples:** · Angel, · Aphrodite, · Butterfly, · Cleopatra, · Couple: One as a cupid, the other as a heart-struck victim, devil, or angel, · Cupid ("good" or "evil" version, and costumed as androgynous, female, or male), · Delilah, · Devil, · Egyptian Queen (e.g. Nefertari, Nefertiti, Tiye, Cleopatra…), · Elf, · Fairy, · Flirty party outfit in white and/or red (bodycon dress or miniskirt?), · Formal suit and tie, · Genie, · Goddess, · Heart, · Peter Pan, · Pixie, · Princess Psyche, *·* Queen of Hearts *(from Alice in Wonderland),* · Robin Hood, · Succubus, · Toga, · Venus, · Wine bottle, · Witch… And accessories could include: · heart-shaped necklace and/or earrings, · heart-shaped sunglasses, · red or white bow & arrow · red or white feathered wings or halo. \-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\- I HOPE TO SEE YOU SOON!

MCKS PRANIC HEALING® Level I In PRANIC HEALING® Level 1, you learn the basics of working with your energy aura, including learning to "scan," or feel the energy, to "sweep," or clean away congested energy, and to "energize," or supplement areas in your aura that have a pranic deficiency. PRANIC HEALING® has been taught to doctors, nurses, massage therapists, acupuncturists, chiropractors, shiatsu practitioners, and many others in the healing field. It has allowed them to heal confidently and consistently in the shortest learning time possible. These professionals find PRANIC HEALING® very effective and easy to apply. Other topics covered in PRANIC HEALING® Level 1: Energetic anatomy: You will learn to work with the network of chakras, meridians and auras to accelerate the healing processes of your body. Preventive healing: You will learn to remove the negative energetic patterns of a disease to prevent it from fully manifesting as a physical ailment. Self-Pranic healing: You will learn to apply these healing techniques to accelerate your own healing. Spec-Driven Development with GitHub Spec-Kit - Barret Blake
Spec-Driven Development with GitHub Spec-Kit - Barret Blake
**Important time note:** Please plan on arriving between 5:30 and 6:00 as the elevators lock after 6 and you'll need to message us and we'll need to come get you. The building address is 4450 Bridge Park The entrance is 6620 Mooney St, Suite 400 You will need to scan your ID at the door to get a visitor badge. **Abstract** *Spec-Driven Development with GitHub Spec-Kit: From Intent to Implementation* Spec-driven development flips the traditional workflow on its head: instead of code being the source of truth, the specification becomes the backbone of design, collaboration, and delivery. In this session, we’ll explore how GitHub Spec-Kit enables teams to treat specifications as first-class artifacts—living documents that drive architecture, implementation, and verification. You’ll learn how Spec-Kit helps teams clearly express intent using structured, version-controlled specs that live alongside code. We’ll walk through a practical workflow that starts with defining system behavior and constraints, then progressively refines those specs into testable, automatable outcomes. Along the way, we’ll show how specs can reduce ambiguity, improve cross-functional collaboration, and make design decisions explicit before a single line of production code is written. This talk will cover: --What spec-driven development is (and what it isn’t) --How GitHub Spec-Kit fits into modern developer workflows --Using specs to align product, engineering, and AI-assisted development --Real-world examples of turning specs into implementations with confidence Whether you’re building greenfield systems, integrating AI into your stack, or trying to reduce costly rework, spec-driven development offers a scalable way to move faster without sacrificing clarity. Attendees will leave with concrete patterns and a clear mental model for adopting GitHub Spec-Kit in their own projects. **YouTube Link** TBA
In-Person Event: The Answers to Depression & Anxiety
In-Person Event: The Answers to Depression & Anxiety
This is an in-person meeting. At this meeting you will get answers to depression and anxiety. Find out the source of them and how to get rid of them. Did you know that unwanted emotions like anxiety, depression, unhappiness, loneliness, hopelessness, anger, fear, or feelings of irritation don’t just fall on you for no reason. They are not random occurrences that simply happen to people's minds. They are definitely not due to a chemical imbalance in your brain from some nebulous chemical reaction "by chance". Your negative emotions are the symptoms of the painful experiences that you have which are not healed, and which are still affecting you. The effects of these painful experiences are exacerbated by the pressures or difficulties of the other problems in your life. Come to our Meetup, where we can introduce you to some of the knowledge, tools and techniques of the breakthroughs in the field of the mind that we can apply to this ever important area of life. Be sure to click on the red "Attend" button below to come to this local event. We look forward to seeing you there. This group is created by the Hubbard Dianetics Foundation of Central Ohio and Church of Scientology of Central Ohio.
