Antinatalism asks an uncomfortable question: **Is it morally justified to bring a new person into existence?** In a world marked by suffering, uncertainty, inequality, and social fragility, some philosophers argue that *not being born* may be better than being born at all. This session explores antinatalism, through thinkers like Schopenhauer, and David Benatar. But this is no longer a purely philosophical question. Today, birth rates are collapsing across much of the world. States intervene through incentives, restrictions, and population engineering. Technology separates sex from pregnancy and reproduction from the human body itself. This session explores birth and antinatalism **at the intersection of philosophy, demography, politics, and technology**. **Introduction (15 minutes)** We start with a short introduction of the guests. **Questions to discuss: (1 hour and 45 minutes):** 1. This session is open forum to share your current projects—whether complete or in progress, it’s all interesting! If you’re a beginner and want to experiment, I’ll have a couple of starter kits available so you can try things out—whether that’s blinking your first LED, putting something on a display, or experimenting with simple sensors.
