Tribalheart Ecstatic Dance- Winter Solstice Celebration
Tribalheart Ecstatic Dance- Winter Solstice Celebration
Tribalheart Ecstatic dance creates space for free-form movement in a chat free zone where you can dive deeply into the heart, reconnecting, expressing, dancing in and out, up and down, learning to let go of anything and everything that holds you back from yourSelf and inner freedom. Let the energy move you, let the spirit of the heart guide you. There is space to dance alone and no pressure to connect with anyone else, just be yourself and honour what you need in the moment. This night is an inspiration and fusion of club culture, dancing yoga, active meditation, cardio fitness, Ecstatic trance dance (blindfolds available) and a sacred Nataraj. If you choose to connect, it is a chance to meet others without words from a place of movement, meditation, energy and soul; eyes and heart wide open. ### **The winter solstice celebration** We are delighted to welcome ROHINI, who will be orchestrating a LIVE performance. đŸ”„ ROHINI brings Electro Healing: a journey where global rhythms meet deep bass, where ancestral sounds merge with modern beats, and the dance-floor becomes a space of unity, uplift, and collective vibration. We will start the evening with a welcoming warmup to relax the body and mind. Together we will set an intention for the evening inviting the heart to open and awaken within us thus creating sacred space for all. For those that wish to partake, we will enjoy and deepen our intention with a short Cacao ceremony. (The cacao is used to take us deeper into our body, awakening our senses, connecting us to heart energy and aiding a spring in our step) We also embark on some dynamic breathwork to fire us up for the evening. \- Please leave at least 2 hours after eating a heavy meal if drinking cacao\. -Please do not drink alcohol before the event as it is contraindicated with some of the breathwork techniques we practice We inject passion into sourcing the music for our events and aim to deliver an eclectic mix of genres for your heart. From tribal to electronic and everything in between we aim to assist a natural flow peaking and resting to mirror the rhythm and energy of life. Prepare to shake, spin, whirl and twirl. The music becomes the facilitator during the wild ecstatic dance ending with moments of stillness into silence where we can rest and breathe together **20th December-Winter solstice celebration- LIVE MUSIC performance with ROHINI** **About Rohini** Rohini (aka Rael Guerrero) is a classically trained guitarist, electronic music live act, and selector from Mexico, now rooted in London’s diverse musical landscape. His sound is deeply inspired by the sacred and transformative power of vibration, weaving global traditions into contemporary electronic expression. His signature sets often feature the Gaiatri Singing Pipesℱ, a unique instrument he created to bring meditative overtones and vibrational depth into his performances.... Rohini has been chosen as the opening act for Sun Ra Arkestra at The Oddball festival, has performed at Secret Garden Party, Bimble Bandada, Small World, Mabfest and Tribal Earth festivals. He is also becoming a rising presence in the ecstatic dance scene. His collaborations with tabla maestro Aref Durvesh and renowned vocalist Najma Akhtar have further shaped his signature style, grounding his sets in world-music lineage while keeping them vibrant, dance-driven, and spiritually charged. Tribalheart OSHO Dynamic meditation
Tribalheart OSHO Dynamic meditation
The Venue is a room in Lauderdale house set on the entrance of the magnificent Waterlow park in Highgate (nearest tube is Archway, on the northern line. Waterlow park is less then 10min walk up highgate hill) A very beautiful location to be after such a energizing and emotionally cleansing experience! Doors open 0830am Instructions 0900am Meditation -915am-1015am (no admission after 915am) There is a cafe downstairs for you to drink, eat and connect together afterwards or you may feel drawn to wander alone into the majestic park, soaking up the beauty of the trees, lakes and landscape...whatever is right for you! Active meditations were designed by Osho with us westerners in mind. It can be challenging with our hectic lifestyles, full of stimulus to just sit down and switch off into silence. How many times have you heard people say' I just can't meditate, my mind is too busy, my body cannot be still etc...' Active meditations were designed by Osho to use the body and breath first, enabling us to 'empty our vessel ' through physical movement. By doing this we release pent up emotions and tension in the body so that we are more able to reach inner stillness, silence and meditation. We will commence with the dynamic meditation for a series of weeks then rotate to try other active meditations designed by Osho. What is the dynamic meditation? A complete work out for mind, body and soul; It is the mother of all emotional cleansers!! More detailed instructions for new comers given at 845am(optional attendance if you know this meditation well). Meditation starts 9am sharp. Doors will have to close then. This technique is in 5 stages that flow together beautifully to make up the complete meditation. It is done with the eyes closed so no need to feel self conscious; no one is looking at you! Stage 1)chaotic breathing. Completely takes you out of the mind, energizes, detoxifies and oxygenates the body in preparation for the next stage Stage 2)Catharsis-emptying your vessel! How often will you get the the opportunity to release on such a spectacular level. Your endorphins will be flying as you act out, scream, cry, shout, play madness as best you can. Doing this regular will release stress and tension on all levels; It could keep you sane:) Stage 3)''Hoo'' phase. Grounding the energy Stage 4)Silence...drop inside and really experience the witnessing self. Meditation will come easily now. Stage 5)Dance. Celebrate your experience like a new born you Meditations will start at 9am (running for one hour )on Saturday mornings. New comers please arrive at 845am if you want to go over the instructions... Cost is on a sliding scale depending on your wage or situation- £20/15 (please pay by cash, paypal or eventbrite. Correct money if paying cash please) https://paypal.me/moveandmeditate?locale.x=en_GB https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/osho-dynamic-meditation-tickets-164956387997 If money is a problem please speak to Tara, all are welcome This meditation can be done alone but the more the merrier for a real energy blast. I know it's early but get up and JOIN IN!!! Trust me you will feel amazing afterwards.... Ideally this is best done on an empty stomach(certainly not a full one). As I said there is a cafe downstairs so you won't go hungry or you can always picnic in the park! Come alone or come with friends. Bring a bottle of water and an open mind! FREE PARKING ON HIGHGATE HILL SATURDAYS :0 Additional info:- Lauderdale House Waterlow Park Highgate Hill London N6 5HG Lauderdale House is a white house behind the gates to Waterlow Park on Highgate Hill. It's on the left hand side heading north up from Archway tube, ( just past St Joseph’s Church on the corner of Dartmouth Park Hill). Christmas Lunch @ Little Bay
Our Christmas Dinner event will be held at **Little Bay** in South Croydon. This restaurant in South Croydon with quirky theatrical decor offers great Modern European and French cuisine at very reasonable prices. The menu can be found on their website [https://www.littlebaycroydon.co.uk/](https://www.littlebaycroydon.co.uk/) \-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\- Travel: If you are arriving by public transport, please use the TFL journey planner (https://tfl.gov.uk/plan-a-journey/) to review your travel time and plan your journey to the restaurant. If you are arriving by car, please use the awesome power of Google Maps (https://maps.google.co.uk/) to plot the best route - unless you have your own GPS. Important notes: * If you will be arriving after 12:45pm, please send Ben or Katherine a heads-up message. Sometimes restaurants request that unoccupied places are put up for grabs for walk-in customers so your place can't be guaranteed if you're unexpectedly late. * The organiser fee of ÂŁ2 per person (including guests) will be collected on the day, so please bring the right change. We also ask that you stay until the bill is paid in full to be fair to everyone. * If you cannot come, please change your RSVP in advance. This ensures members aren't disappointed in missing out. Regular "No-Shows" - those who RSVP yes but don't turn up - will be removed from the group to enhance the experience for others. * This is a social networking event and is not the place to pitch your business, dish out fliers or sign people up to services. Please contact the organisers if you would like to collaborate on something you feel is relevant to the group.

Celebrate National Spaghetti Day!
Join us as we celebrate **National Spaghetti Day** with this hearty dish! Though the origins of spaghetti are disputed—whether it was Marco Polo bringing back culinary invention from the East or a home-grown Sicilian treat dating back to the 12th Century—we can all agree that a cold day with a big bowl of noodle-y, saucy goodness is balm for the soul. # Carfagnas Spaghetti and Sauce *Everybody's favorite!* Our handmade egg spaghetti topped with our homemade marinara and served with two of our famous meatballs.
