Kirchberg Loop [15 km]: Fast Hike [At least 6 km/h]
Hello everyone! For the ones like me that don't plan to party hard tonight, celebrating Duke's birthday (if that could ever be the the reason :D), but would like to go sporty early tomorrow, I got you ;) No one wants to rely on infrequent public transportation on a public holiday, so we go on a beutiful hike in the heart of the city :) https://www.alltrails.com/trail/luxembourg/luxembourg/autour-kirchberg **Please pay attention**: This is a hike for people that can maintain an average speed of at least 6 km/h, so that we finish the 15 km in around 2.5 hours. We could easily go above 6 km/h if you'd like since the trail is very easy! Only 257 m elevation gain. So, please join me only if you know you can keep this pace! **Meeting point**: We meet at Coque's parking lot. **Contact**: My wapp number is +306985027222. If you don't use wapp, my phone number is +352621132389. **Disclaimer**: The hike is at your own risk. Please come prepared (hiking shoes, at least 1.5 litres of water, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses,...) And I repeat, please join this hike only if you can keep an average pace of at least 6 km/h :)

From Real-Time Intelligence to Legacy Mastery: The Era of AI Agents
From Real-Time Intelligence to Legacy Mastery: The Era of AI Agents
**Cloud Native Night Munich** AI agents are rapidly evolving from simple assistants into autonomous systems capable of reasoning, maintaining context, and interacting with complex environments. In this meetup, we’ll explore two practical applications of modern agentic AI in software engineering. The first talk dives into building stateful AI agents that work with real-time data, covering the architectural patterns and challenges behind creating responsive, context-aware systems. The second talk showcases how agentic AI can be applied to understanding and analysing complex legacy applications — helping uncover program flows, dependencies, and hidden system knowledge that would otherwise take countless hours to explore manually. Whether you’re building AI-powered applications, modernising enterprise systems, or simply curious about the future of intelligent software, this meetup offers hands-on insights into how AI agents are transforming the way we interact with technology THIS MEETUP WILL BE HYBRID. **\|** [Zoom Link](https://qaware-de.zoom.us/s/81669104769) \*\*\* AGENDA \*\*\* * 6\.30 PM \| Doors open\. Grab some snacks & drinks\. * 7\.00 PM \| Welcome & Intro – **Start of hybrid meetup** * 7\.15 PM \| **Building Stateful AI Agents with Real-Time Data**, Gregor Bauer (VP Customer Engineering at CrateDB) * \~8:15 PM \| **Hosty - The next level with Agentic AI,** Martin Binder (Lead IT Consultant at QAware) * afterwards: More snacks & drinks, and a lot of time for networking with all attendees and speakers. \*\*\* ABSTRACTS \*\*\* **Building Stateful AI Agents with Real-Time Data**, Gregor Bauer (VP Customer Engineering at CrateDB) Most AI demos are stateless. Real systems are not. Modern AI applications increasingly depend on continuously changing operational data: events, metrics, logs, transactions, sensor streams, and user activity. This creates a new architectural challenge: how do we build AI agents that can reason over live data while remaining scalable and observable ? This talk explores the architecture of stateful AI systems and agentic applications. We will cover: * streaming-first AI architectures * real-time context enrichment * combining vector search with structured queries * memory layers for AI agents * latency and scalability considerations * operational lessons from large-scale data platforms The session provides practical guidance for engineers designing production-ready AI platforms. **Hosty - The next level with Agentic AI,** Martin Binder (Lead IT Consultant at QAware) To migrate legacy systems, you need to understand these IT dinosaurs, at least partially. So code analysis up to a certain level is unavoidable. What used to take months, sometimes years without LLMs is now doable in a few days with Gemini and friends. And yet: you still have to drive the analysis yourself, stitch the LLM's partial results into a coherent picture and fight the context window. With old source files thousands of lines long, that part really hurt. Agentic AIs like Claude Code are not just another AI feature. They change how you approach unfamiliar systems — fast, and without the headaches that LLM chat workflows used to come with. Teaser: an analysis that took us a few days under "yay!" cheers is now done in minutes. \*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\* Please comply with our [Code of Conduct](https://www.greenmanifesto.de/en/code-of-conduct). [EVENTBRITE required] Fireside Chat - Luxembourg’s Summer in Three Acts
⚠️EVENTBRITE REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED⚠️ https://www.eventbrite.com/e/luxembourgs-summer-in-three-acts-pilgrimage-harvest-and-wine-tickets-1987782782813?aff=meetup (Ignore the 10-attendees-limit – registrations are valid through Eventbrite) **Luxembourg’s Summer in Three Acts: Pilgrimage, Harvest, and Wine** This is the **third event** of the newly launched **Bourgmeisterin: Fireside Chats** bi-monthly series – a cultural storytelling format supported by the [Ministry of Family Affairs, Solidarity, Living Together, and Reception of Refugees ](https://mfsva.gouvernement.lu/en/.html "https://mfsva.gouvernement.lu/en/.html") and co-produced with[ ](https://www.radioara.org/)**[ARA City Radio](https://www.radioara.org/)** that runs from winter 2026 till summer 2027. The series builds on **[Bourgmeisterin](https://bourgmeisterin.com/about "https://bourgmeisterin.com/about")**, a long-running cultural storytelling project that has been exploring Luxembourg’s history, traditions, and identity for over 2.5 years. For those who missed the previous events: all events are vide-recorded as podcasts – here's the **[YouTube channel](https://www.youtube.com/@Bourgmeisterin)[📺](https://youtu.be/m_DnkOWUn4w?feature=shared "https://youtu.be/m_DnkOWUn4w?feature=shared")** to bring you up to speed😉 **\-\-\-** This Fireside Chat explores three traditions that have helped Luxembourg mark the passing of summer for centuries: 🕺🏻🥁**Hopping Procession of Echternach** – why do thousands of people still hop through the streets of Echternach every year at the end of May? 🌾**Léiffrawëschdag** – why are bouquets made from herbs, grains, onions and carrots still blessed on August 15 in Greiveldange (and many other parts of the country for that matter)? 🍷**Fiederwäissen** – and why does a cloudy, unfinished wine inspire such anticipation every autumn? In a world that moves *faster than ever*, some traditions continue to bring people together – not because they are **efficient or practical,** but because they **help us mark time, create belonging, and make sense of change.** They show how people have historically navigated beginnings, endings, uncertainty, and belonging. Together, we'll explore: * Why communities create rituals in the first place * What it means to move, celebrate, and participate as a group * How traditions help people mark the passing of time * Why certain customs survive while others disappear * And what these rituals can still teach us about community, identity, and belonging today Because sometimes the most interesting question isn't why a tradition exists. **It's why people continue returning to it.** **💃🏻Who's leading the conversation** * The evening is hosted by **[Julia Khalyavko](https://www.linkedin.com/in/julia-khalyavko-54a6a420b/)**, the founder of **Bourgmeisterin**, a cultural storytelling project dedicated to exploring Luxembourg’s history, traditions, and contemporary identity through articles, podcasts, and public conversations. * The discussion is joined by **[Joëlla van Donkersgoed](https://www.linkedin.com/in/joella-van-donkersgoed)**, a Dutch heritage scholar and public historian who has lived in Luxembourg for the last five years. With a background in heritage studies, and art history, she focuses on how communities connect with their past in the present. She has led several public-facing history projects during her time at the **Centre for Contemporary and Digital History (C²DH)** at the **University of Luxembourg**, helping to make local history meaningful to wider audiences. **🤝🍷🍔Stay, talk, connect** The conversation doesn’t end when the fireside chat does. **Catering and drinks will be served after the discussion**, offering space to linger, exchange thoughts, and connect with fellow attendees in a relaxed, informal setting with up to 50 other attendees. **🎥🗣️NB! Recording, publication and spoken language** * Please note that the fireside chat will be **video-recorded**. Some **before- and after-moments** – as guests arrive and leave – may also be captured. The recording will be edited into a **video-podcast episode** and published on **YouTube** as part of the Bourgmeisterin: Fireside Chats series. * The event will be held in **English**. **A big thank you to our partners:** 🎥 **Super8**, our videography partner bringing the Fireside Chats to life on screen, 📍**Silversquare Liberté**, our venue partner hosting this Fireside Chat in Luxembourg City, 📲 **Itrepide Studio** our social media partner helping us shape and share the story **Follow Bourgmeisterin [everywhere](https://linktr.ee/bourgmeisterin)!** \-\-\- 🎟️ *Admission is free thanks to the generous support of the Ministry, which makes this event accessible to all.* 🚨 *The order form includes a short pre-event survey: as this is a Ministry-funded initiative, we are required to report on certain aspects of the event, including audience demographics. Raising Conscious Kids – A Unity Family Experience
Raising Conscious Kids – A Unity Family Experience
At Unity of Columbus, our Youth and Family Ministry nurtures the spiritual growth of children and families through love, joy, and practical spiritual teachings. Each Sunday, children explore timeless spiritual principles through stories, creative activities, music, and group sharing in a safe and welcoming environment. Our program encourages children to discover their own inner light, express kindness, and develop a personal connection with God. Together, we celebrate diversity, cultivate understanding, and inspire each child to live with purpose and compassion. Parents and families are invited to join in this uplifting journey of learning, laughter, and spiritual connection.
CMG Gives Back: Serve Dinner at FAITH MISSION GRANT KITCHEN!
CMG Gives Back: Serve Dinner at FAITH MISSION GRANT KITCHEN!
Join us as we get together to get together to help those in need at this CMG Gives Back event! We have a great little community of Movie Group friends so rather than see a movie this time, we’ll help “Create a better world” by helping serve those in need. NOTE: We’re switching it up this time and going with a DINNER shift on Mon, 7/6. Here are complete details and our plan for this event: FAITH MISSION – GRANT KITCHEN: The Faith Mission kitchen and dining room serves residents 3 meals a day, every day of the year. For this event, our group will help prepare food, serve meals, assist residents in the dining room, wash dishes, and clean surfaces. PLAN: We will be preparing / serving / cleaning for DINNER from 4:30 to 6:30pm and have space for a total of 7 volunteers. Please arrive at 4:20pm and wear closed-toe shoes and long pants. LOCATION: Faith Mission – Grant Kitchen is located at 245 N. Grant Ave. Enter the kitchen at Dock 1 (in the back of the building), indicated in the attached map. On-site parking in the adjacent lot and street parking are available in the surrounding area. Below are some links / attachments with additional info/details: IMPORTANT REMINDER: Our group will be providing all of the volunteers on this day so a firm RSVP count is essential. Please only sign up if you are certain you’ll be able to attend. If something unavoidable comes up, please try to update your RSVP no later than one week prior to the event. With few exceptions, no shows or cancelations within 1 week of the event will not be eligible for future CMG Gives Back events. I appreciate your understanding as we try to ensure the agencies have the volunteers needed to provide the essential services they provide to the vulnerable population they serve. Our Partner Agency for this event is Lutheran Social Services! A huge THANK YOU to those volunteering at this (or any of our previous or future) CMG Gives Back events! Look forward to seeing you there, Dan
