Amazon FBA/KDP and Online Business - Exchange of expertise and ideas, networking
Welcome to our meetup!
In our meetups we openly discuss and share our experiences related to running an Amazon FBA business, Amazon KDP business or other online business out of Switzerland. There's no fixed agenda or presentations/speakers. Everyone gets the chance to shortly introduce his/her experience with online business so far and to discuss any issues he/she is facing at the moment. Our meetups are valuable both for people just starting out as well as for experienced entrepreneurs.
Next to providing useful practical information, I believe our meetups are just as valuable for the chance to meet similar minded, motivated entrepreneurs. It's great for your own mindset to meet other people who also think out of the 9-to-5 box. Furthermore, our meetups provide a good networking opportunity: we already have various collaborations between members of our group resulting from our meetups.
We will meet in the lobby of the Motel One hotel (Stockerstrasse 61, corner of Brandschenkestrasse; after you entered the motel, you'll find the lobby at the far left). If you like to have a drink, please get it at the bar before coming to the lobby, so we can start on time at 7pm.
Meetups are held in English, unless all participants understand German.
Please only sign up if you're actually planning on coming.
Looking forward to meeting you!
\*\*\* no hidden agenda, no one trying to sell you his services, 100% entrepreneurs helping entrepreneurs \*\*\*
The Door by Magda Szabó
Welcome to the June meeting of the book club!
For our second book, we’ll be reading *The Door*, a powerful novel by Hungarian author Magda Szabó. First published in 1987, it tells the story of the complicated relationship between a writer and her enigmatic housekeeper, gradually opening into larger questions of power, intimacy, pride, class, loyalty, and self-deception.
We’ll meet in English for a friendly, open discussion. No academic background is needed — just read the book, bring your thoughts, and join the conversation.
These first books have been chosen by the organizer to help get the club started. Once the group is actively underway, future reads will be selected through member nominations and voting.
Looking forward to seeing new and returning readers in June!

Bad Girls Book Club June 2026
**Our June novel is: *The Eights* by Joanna Miller**
**This month’s novel is set during World War I. It’s a 20th-century historical fiction story about friendship and war, with coming-of-age elements and a slightly haunted tone. The book is 384 pages in print and 10 hours and 9 minutes on audiobook.**
Oxford, 1920. For the first time in its one-thousand-year history, Oxford University officially admits female students. Burning with dreams of equality, four young women move into neighboring rooms in Corridor 8. Beatrice, Dora, Marianne, and Otto—collectively known as The Eights—come from all walks of life, each driven by their own motives, each holding tight to their secrets, and are thrown into an unlikely, unshakable friendship.
Dora was never meant to go to university, but, after losing both her brother and her fiancé on the battlefield, has arrived in their place. Politically-minded Beatrice, daughter of a famous suffragette, sees Oxford as a chance to make her own way - and some friends her own age. Otto was a nurse during the war but is excited to return to her socialite lifestyle in Oxford where she hopes to find distraction from the memories that haunt her. And finally Marianne, the quiet, clever daughter of a village pastor, who has a shocking secret she must hide from everyone, even her new friends, if she is to succeed.
Among the historic spires, and in the long shadow of the Great War, the four women must navigate and support one another in a turbulent world in which misogyny is rife, influenza is still a threat, and the ghosts of the Great War don’t always remain dead.

May Book Club Meetup
Welcome, readers!
Our May read is **_Kindred_ by Octavia E. Butler.**
The story follows Dana, a Black woman living in 1976 California, who is suddenly pulled back to a Maryland plantation before the Civil War. She learns her survival is tied to a white slaveholder’s son. Forced to move between centuries, she must endure the brutal realities of slavery while fighting to hold on to her identity. Tense, intimate, and unforgettable, Kindred explores how the past refuses to stay buried.
Looking forward to discussing with everyone!

June Book Club Meetup
Welcome, readers!
Our June read is ***Endurance: Shackleton's Incredible*** ***Voyage***
**by Alfred Lansing.**
A work of nonfiction, and one of the most astonishing survival stories in history, we follow Sir Ernest Shackleton and his crew after their ship is crushed by Antarctic ice. Stranded in one of the harshest environments on Earth, the men endure months of isolation, freezing temperatures, and near starvation—yet refuse to give up hope. Lansing brings their ordeal to life through vivid detail and firsthand accounts, capturing both the brutality of nature and the resilience of the human spirit. At its core, the story is a powerful testament to leadership, perseverance, and the unbreakable will to survive against impossible odds.
Looking forward to discussing with everyone!
We will meet at Zaftig Brewing Co in their event room in the back. We are welcome to bring in our own food, but **all** **drinks must be purchased at the bar.**

Central Ohio Chapter Meeting
IN PERSON IN COLUMBUS
How I Get Private Lenders and Partners to Fund My Deals
If you can’t fund it, you don’t have a deal.
And right now, funding is where more investors are getting stuck.
Private lenders are more cautious.
Partners are asking better questions.
And deals that look good on paper still fall apart when the money doesn’t show up.
That’s why we’re bringing in a panel of investors who are actually getting their deals funded right now.
You’ll hear how they’re finding money, structuring deals, and building relationships that lead to repeat funding.
Here’s what you’ll learn:
* Where they’re finding private lenders today
* How they start conversations that lead to funding
* What makes lenders and partners say YES
* How they structure deals to be fundable
* The biggest mistakes investors make when raising money
* How to build repeat funding relationships
**Early Session (6:00–7:00 PM Eastern):**
**Having Trouble Finding Tenants? How Community Shelter Board Can Help**
Nicholas Brenner will walk you through programs designed to help rapidly rehouse tenants, including financial support that can stabilize your rentals.
**The Deal Room (7:00–7:30 PM Eastern)**
Bring deals, funding needs, buyers, and problems.
This is where connections turn into action.
This meeting is for serious real estate investors nationwide, and we’re known for our high-content, real-life education and our nationwide community of dealmakers.
Members and non-members at all levels are welcome.
Register below to reserve your seat.
