Join us for a relaxed morning of community connection, light activity, and caring for the Maribyrnong River. **What to Expect:** We will walk along the riverbank and surrounds collecting litter, enjoying fresh air, gentle exercise, and friendly conversation. After the clean-up, we will head to Myrtle Café together for a coffee and chat. Come along for our Yarra River City Loop Social Walk, a relaxed and scenic Saturday morning walk through the heart of Melbourne. We’ll meet at the front of Riverland Bar from 8:50am, and set off at 9:00am sharp. From there, we’ll follow the Yarra River through to Burnley, enjoying a flat and easy loop with great city views, riverside paths and plenty of chances for a good chat along the way. The total walk is around 11km and is expected to take roughly 2 to 2.5 hours, depending on the group pace and any short stops along the way. This walk is a great option for anyone looking for an easy, social city walk with a fun community vibe. After the walk, anyone who would like to can join us for a coffee or bite nearby. This is one of the world’s largest flower gardens and is found to be the most beautiful in spring. Keukenhof Park covers an area of 32 hectares and has approximately 7 million flower bulbs planted annually.
