Our Weekly Game Gathering will be hosted at Kerbey Lane from 6 - 9pm. We can be found in the far back as you walk in. If you need help finding us, the staff know us by the name g3 Games or as the Game Gathering. Arriving late or leaving early is no problem. Whether you're a board game fan looking to play classics or interested in a friendly chance to meet some new people, this event is the perfect opportunity to do that in a relaxed atmosphere. Bring your favorite game or just bring yourself and explore our community library - we’re excited to play with you! All skill levels are welcome, so don't be shy if you're a beginner! This event is LGBT Friendly and fosters a welcoming environment for all. It's a great chance to unwind, connect with like-minded individuals, and enjoy a fun night out. Join us for The Secret Meetup, a semi-monthly board game night at The Secret Lantern Books & Games in Cedar Park! It’s called The Secret Meetup, so you probably shouldn’t tell anyone 🤫 (…but you should absolutely tell people though).

We’re a safe, friendly, inclusive, and diverse group. New players are always welcome — we’re happy to teach games and help you find a table.

📍The Secret Lantern Books and Games in Cedar Park. Housed in a former bank, this shop is now the very definition of “cozy.” Think comfy upholstered furniture, warm lighting, and tucked-away corners, perfect for settling into a long game. And yes — there’s a Vault Room, complete with massive steel door and spinning wheel handle, now reborn as one of the coolest places around to plot your next heist— err, move.

I'm looking for a player to join a 5E D&D campaign set in the adventure "Wild Beyond the Witchlight". We play at an office building in the Domain and use an extensive selection of miniatures and terrain.

**Ultimate Werewolf** Do you enjoy lying through your teeth? Eating your friends? Leading a village to victory—or secretly founding a cult and converting it one zealot at a time? Then Ultimate Werewolf might be the game for you. **New Players Welcome** Newcomers are always welcome! We start with simpler games and gradually introduce more complex roles as everyone gets comfortable. If you have any questions, feel free to message me, leave a comment below, or join our **[Discord](https://discord.gg/KZWByXWD2t)**. **How the Game Works** In a basic game, players are secretly divided into two teams: **Villagers** and **Werewolves**. Each player receives a role card that tells them which team they’re on and whether they have special abilities. The game is played in rounds, each with a Day and Night phase: * **Day:** Players discuss, lie, accuse, and ultimately vote to execute one player. * **Night:** Players “sleep” with their eyes closed while special roles act in secret—werewolves eat, and other roles use their abilities. The first team (or unique role) to achieve its victory condition wins. With a strong emphasis on social interaction, deception, teamwork, and strategy—and over **50 different roles** supporting 20+ players—no two games are ever the same. **Variants & House Rules** Throughout the night I run a variety of house rules that dramatically shake up the game. Over the years, I’ve also created several custom roles, including fan favorites like The Baker and The Devil. Games typically run 15–40 minutes, depending on player count and rule set. We aim to keep things moving at a good pace so we can play 4-5 full games each event. Join us to try out and provide feedback on games in development by local game designers, or bring a game of your own to playtest! This session will meet at Emerald Tavern. Food and drink are available for purchase on-site. We’ll do our best to accommodate both short (30-60 min) and longer games. Please arrive by the start time, especially if you have a game; if we have more games than players, you'll be signing the game in so it can enter a drawing for tables. Where you'll find us: Check the room beyond the bar (back and to the left); we're often in there. If we aren't, we'll be at tables indoors or out and typically have a table sign to help you locate an organizer. If we don't, look for the people with handmade games! **COVID Note:** Masks are optional for attendees who are vaccinated and boosted. If you prefer to be masked and play with other masked players, please let us know and we will accommodate through pairing up or the use of an outdoor table on the patio.

Come to play and showcase your games. We're back in the upper levels of the catwalk mezzanine area. It'll be packed with lots of camaraderie playing your game(s) and other's games on the 2nd floor as well as the 1st floor in the gaming room below the mezzanine. Light snacks and water provided but you can buy food and drinks at the bar (alcoholic drink ID required). The Forge does have a full bar and kitchen. There is no cover charge but they do request all attendees to purchase a minimum of ~$20 per person. Soft drink refills are $1 each. Please support our hosts so we can continue to provide great events for the group! The Forge has a large library of games available for us to enjoy. Hosts and regulars will also provide numerous popular games but please bring any games you would like to teach and/or play. Doors open at 6, and we expect gaming to be rolling by around 630. Please promptly end your games and clear out the space at 10pm when the bar closes. We encourage socializing but do not permit disruptive behavior of any kind.
