Weâre still working to get more people into these Meetups, but our goal is to give PlayYourCourt members a few social tennis outings each week in addition to your practice sessions and Challenge League matches.
These Meetups are co-ed, super laid back, and all skill levels are welcome. Post your skill level and a suggested court in the comments section so we can round up as many players as we can for some tennis fun!
Also, if youâre looking to meet new practice partners or play some matches and you arenât already in the PlayYourCourt Community, you can go here to see what weâre all about and sign up:
https://www.playyourcourt.com/tennis-community/leesburg-va/meetup/
If you love tennis, weâd love to have you! Be sure and watch the quick video that explains how everything works.
Happy hitting!
- Scott
New players are always welcome to come try it out!
What you need:
A bathing suit. Preferably something light and tight.
We have extra gear for new players. But if you have your own pair of flippers, a snorkeling mask, and a snorkel then bring them along.
Please bring this signed and completed form to practice:

To find us:
You can tell the front desk that you are here for underwater hockey and they will let you in for free. You can ask them for help finding the pool.
If no one is at the front desk just walk past it and there will be a set of stairs on the left. Take the stairs and take a right at the bottom of the stairs. The men's and women's locker rooms are straight ahead, and you will need to go through them to access the pool deck. Once you are out on the pool deck you will be exactly where we practice.
Agenda:
First 15 minutes: Arrival at the pool, getting gear from the shared gear bin, dividing into two teams, getting gear on.
Minutes 15-30: Getting in the water, teaching any new players the basics
Minutes 20-70: Scrimmage/practice.
Minutes 70-75: Putting away club gear, putting the lane lines back in place, clearing the pool deck.
(optional) afterwards: Go to a local restaurant for food, drinks, and socializing.
Our new location is the Nova CC Loudoun.

MindShift Gym has graciously offered to host our January meetup again! This event is technically free, but donations are strongly encouraged. MindShift has granted us access to their space at no cost to us, but at meaningful cost to *them*. Please consider helping them out a little, as you're able.
For those of you who'd like to continue playing after this event is over, you'll have the option to stay for an additional (free) open gym session.
To help MindShift get a sense of how many folks intend to come (and so that we can get your waiver taken care of ahead of time), please register for this event here:
