I have designed it as a kickstart to your photography journey, helping you build solid foundations early on so you don’t hit a creative plateau after learning only classic rules of photography. The workshop is beginner-friendly and assumes no deep technical knowledge. At the same time starting with basics, we will be building foundation that will help you become even better than some of the professionals. We’ll start with the fundamentals of exposure and camera control, then move into composition and subject-focused photography. The goal is not just to know *how* to set your camera, but to understand why you make certain choices and how they support the image. Many beginners shoot from where they stand, reacting to scenes instead of observing them. This is our weekly event! Hey Badminton Enthusiasts! This meet-up is for all levels: beginners, intermediates and experts. Everyone is welcome to join, test their skills and have some fun together! The host will reserve courts in advance, that means please only register if you really plan to come (or cancel at least 24 hours before the event starts). The fee for this event is 12€ (for the 2 hours). If you plan on paying in cash, please bring the exact amount as the host might not have any change available. We are meeting at about 10:55 am near the reception by the lounge area (next to the courts). Come a bit earlier so you have time to change into workout/sports clothes. The locker rooms are free to use, but for the men lockers you need a padlock - or you can also take your bag of clothes upstairs to the courts if you do not have a padlock. Also, bring clean indoor sports shoes, your racket and a water bottle with you. There is a drinking fountain available if you need to replenish your bottle. Short North Street Skates return Saturday, April 4 and we’re excited to get back rolling together. These weekly rollouts are a chance to move through the city as a group, build community, and create more visibility for skating and small-wheeled movement in Columbus.
