Gay Men’s Circle – April 13
Most places we meet other gay men are bars, apps, or busy social scenes. This is something a little different.
Gay Men’s Circle is a relaxed evening where you can connect with other men in a more real and grounded way. No pressure to perform, impress, or have the right words.
Some men share what’s going on in their lives. Others simply listen and take in the conversation. Both are completely welcome.
Many people say they rarely get the chance to spend time with other gay men like this. It is often surprisingly refreshing.
No experience with circles or men’s work is needed. Just come along and see how it feels.
### Practical details
Please bring **€5 to cover the cost of the room**
No entry **10 minutes after the start time**
We meet **downstairs in the Theatre Room**
Ring the **front door bell** to get in (the café is closed on Mondays)
If you RSVP and cannot make it, please update your RSVP so someone else can attend.
Electronics Night
These are our regular Monday evening electronics nights. Everyone from absolute beginner to experienced is welcome. These evenings are not classes or tutorials, rather a very friendly informal evening.
We have a wide range of people who come. Some are absolute beginners who do not even work or study electronics, but are interested to know more. Others have something that they are already working on. We almost always have some first time visitors and we always give them a tour of the space.
Come in with your Pi, Arduino, or whatever you have. Bring your laptop. Maybe you want to make something, solder, breadboard or use our electronic gear. Maybe you have some vague ideas and just want to get started. Or maybe you’re just curious……if so, it’s fine to come along and just see what others are doing.
If you would like to get even more involved and have the full use of our space, we would be delighted to have you as a full member. Membership brings many benefits.
We are located behind Mr Price and the Bright Lights store on Kylemore Road. We have lots of free parking available.

Earth Day 2026 - Storytelling & Sustainability Stand in the Park
Join us as we celebrate **International Earth Day!**
Ecological sentiment is not something new; it has always been a part of our relationship with Mother Earth. In the 21st century, perhaps we have forgotten how to love the world we live in? Has our relationship with Nature become merely pragmatic, practical, and nearly utilitarian, instead of nurturing and meaningful?
What we do not love, we can’t protect. Responsibility comes from the heart, which is why ancient wisdom reminds us that we belong to the world we live in and that we are a living part of a much greater cosmos. It is falling in love with that sense of belonging that will give energy and care to our actions for Mother Earth.
**How to belong: Myths from Around the World**
Step into our storytelling circle to hear ancient myths that have shaped the human-nature relationship for millennia. We will explore how different cultures have traditionally viewed their responsibility to the Earth.
**How to transform everyday habits into sustainable actions!**
Explore practical DIY cleaning solutions made from simple, eco-friendly ingredients. Join us to learn sustainable ideas that fit into your daily routine, from reducing waste to making small, impactful changes. Participate in our interactive sustainability stand designed to inspire small but important steps toward a healthier planet. Whether you’re looking to reduce your carbon footprint or simply want to live more sustainably, this stand offers actionable tips and hands-on inspiration.
Because sustainability is not about losing something, it is about remembering our relationship with the living world.
*We will meet in Dartmouth Square Park at 2pm.*

CMG Gives Back: Serve Brunch at FAITH MISSION GRANT KITCHEN!
Join us as we get together to get together to help those in need at this CMG Gives Back event! We have a great little community of Movie Group friends so rather than see a movie this time, we’ll help “create a better world” by helping serve those in need. Here are complete details and our plan for this event:
FAITH MISSION – GRANT KITCHEN: The Faith Mission kitchen and dining room serves residents 3 meals a day, every day of the year. For this event, our group will help prepare food, serve meals, assist residents in the dining room, wash dishes, and clean surfaces.
PLAN: We will be preparing / serving / cleaning for BRUNCH from 10:30am to 12:30pm and have space for a total of 7 volunteers. Please arrive at 10:20am and wear closed-toe shoes and long pants.
LOCATION: Faith Mission – Grant Kitchen is located at 245 N. Grant Ave. Enter the kitchen at Dock 1 (in the back of the building), indicated in the attached map. On-site parking in the adjacent lot and street parking is available in the surrounding area. Below are some links / attachments with additional info/details:
IMPORTANT REMINDER: Our group will be providing all of the volunteers on this day so a firm RSVP count is essential. Please only sign up if you are certain you’ll be able to attend. If something unavoidable comes up, please try to update your RSVP no later than one week prior to the event. With few exceptions, no shows or cancelations within 1
week of the event will not be eligible for future CMG Gives Back events. I appreciate your understanding as we try to ensure the agencies have the volunteers needed to provide the essential services they provide to the vulnerable population they serve. Our Partner Agency for this event is Lutheran Social Services! A huge THANK YOU to all of YOU for volunteering at this (and any of our previous) CMG Gives Back events!
Should be a good/fun/meaningful time together, Dan
The Story So Far: A WiA Reflection Circle
A WiA Collective Wisdom Exchange
At the start of this year, we gathered to look back, set intentions, and imagine the next chapter.
This is the follow-up.
Not a check-in. Not a progress report. A small, facilitated circle to reconnect with what you said mattered — and honestly explore what’s actually happening now.
Together, we’ll explore:
• What you intended at the start of this year - and what that looks like three months in
• What’s surprised you, supported you, or shifted
• What the next chapter needs now that you know what you know
If you were at our January gathering, bring whatever you made or wrote — your word, your artifact, your intention. We’ll look at it with fresh eyes. If this is your first time, you belong here too. You’ll start where we all started: with what’s true right now.
Optional art materials will be available for anyone who wants to reflect creatively alongside conversation. If you brought something home from January, you’re warmly invited to bring it back.
The intention is the same as always: everyone leaves feeling more clear, more connected, and a little lighter.
Space is intentionally limited to keep the experience intimate.
What to Expect
• A small, welcoming circle (not a large meetup)
• Structured conversation so everyone has space to speak
• Reflection, listening, and lived experience — not advice-giving
• Optional creative reflection alongside conversation
• A calm, supportive environment
Who This Is For
Women and underrepresented folks working in or around agile, product, technology, leadership, or organizational change — especially those looking for honest conversation and community beyond frameworks and buzzwords.
Good to Know
• No preparation required
• If you attended in January, we invite you to bring anything you created or wrote (or something that represents your intention at the start of the year) - it’s optional but invited
• Participation is invitational; listening is always welcome
• Creative activities are optional
