Chinese New Year Calligraphy
Chinese New Year Calligraphy
Title: Chinese Calligraphy in the Park 🖌️🍃 (Beginner-Friendly) Description: Join us for a calm, aesthetic outdoor session of Chinese calligraphy in the park — a slow, mindful practice where nature becomes your studio. We’ll begin with a short story: how Chinese characters were inspired by observing nature, and why in calligraphy the most important thing isn’t speed, but attention. Then we’ll practice step by step: • Brush basics: how to hold the brush, where to press, where to stay light • Water practice: strokes on water-writing sheets (they appear, then fade — no fear of mistakes) • Ink practice: training sheets with ink for deeper, more confident movement • Final piece: your chosen character on rice paper (Optional: add a fingerprint stamp as a personal mark of the moment) You’ll leave with your finished calligraphy — a small art object and a memory of a quiet, beautiful morning. What to bring: Comfortable clothes, a bottle of water, and a curious mind. All calligraphy materials are provided (brush, ink, water sheets, paper). Level: Open to beginners — no experience needed. Meeting point: 📍 Parc Honoré d'Estienne d'Orves Parc Naturel Départemental Honoré d'Estienne d'Orves 🕒 22.02.2026, 10:00 AM (duration: 1–1.5 hours) Spots: Limited to keep the atmosphere calm. Please RSVP. How to join / contact: Send me a message on Meetup or DM “Calligraphy in the Park” for the next dates.

Projects that are over budget, delayed, or that fail to scale past the POC phase are very common. In many of these scenarios, choosing the right approach can be as critical as the solution itself. Should you build a tailored machine learning model, leverage the power of large language models (LLMs), or integrate with AI copilots? Each option has unique strengths, trade-offs, and resource requirements, and the key to success lies in aligning your choice with your business goals and technical constraints. In this talk, we will go beyond the basic concepts and definitions to provide a practical guide that allows attendees to navigate these decisions through real-world case studies. We will examine scenarios in which different AI paradigms were chosen, discuss the factors that influenced those decisions, and outline the process for evaluating needs, constraints, and outcomes. From assessing data availability and team expertise to balancing cost and scalability, you'll gain insights into the critical considerations that guide the selection process. By the end of this session, you’ll have a clear process for determining whether machine learning, LLMs, or copilots are best suited to your AI challenges and understand the resources and strategies needed to bring your chosen solution to life. This talk is ideal for decision-makers, technical leads, and innovators seeking to demystify AI implementation and maximize the impact of their investments.
