Agentic AI Engineering Lab #4 – Cloud-Native Foundation: The Echo-Agent in a Box
To build truly autonomous systems, we need to move beyond local setups. This session is about **creating a stable, containerized foundation** that allows us to abstract from infrastructure in future sprints.
**The Plan:** We will containerize a basic agent and deploy it to Google Cloud Run. This creates a repeatable environment where our results can be hosted, scaled, and accessed via stable endpoints.
**This is a "Lab" session. We will:**
* **Show & Tell:** Briefly discuss the move from local scripts to containerized services.
* **Hands-on Building:** Containerize a Python/FastAPI/JS/TS agent using Docker.
* **Cloud Deployment:** Push our images to the cloud and go live on GCP.
**The Format**
We run our sessions like an anthology series: **Every meetup is a standalone sprint.** While we often build on previous results, each session provides a complete experience and remains fully accessible to first-time attendees. This is a high-density micro-meetup limited to 6 seats.
**What you'll build**
By the end of the session, you'll have:
1. **A Dockerized Agent:** A portable container containing your agent logic.
2. **A Cloud Deployment:** Your agent running on GCP Cloud Run with a public URL.
3. **Foundation for the Future:** An environment ready for Inter-Agent Communication (Sprint #5).

* **10:15:** Intro session: Docker, Containerization, and GCP Basics.
* **10:30:** **Build time:** Hands-on experimentation and Cloud Deployment.

* **Google Account:** Essential for GCP access and project setup.
* **Laptop with dev setup:** Docker installed and working.

We are a group of friendly people who just want to have a relaxed kick. All genders, ages (+18) and nationalities welcome. **Feel free to join the waitlist even if it seems long - sometimes we make the event larger and play on two pitches (24 players, four teams) or even three pitches (36 players, six teams), depending on demand.**

Welcome to Sunday Tech Coffee. This is a **networking** event for those in the tech industry in Berlin.
We are usually inside and to the right. Ask the barista/bartender if you can't find us.
Chill Beach Volley 🏐 Beach Mitte
Join us for chill **indoor** beach volley! 🏐 🏐 🏐
This event is for everyone who enjoys chill games and is not a *complete* beginner (A1.5+). We play 3v3 (or 4v4) with beach rules. There are no trainers at this event. Register via [the simultaneous event](https://www.meetup.com/berlin-volley/events/) for higher-level 2v2 matches (F1+).
After playing, you can join us for socials with drinks and snacks at the bar area. We often play a social deduction game, which you're also welcome to join.
We play in domes that are heated up to at least 15C.
It's recommended that you come 10 minutes early so you have time to change and find the fields. If it is your first time, 15 minutes might be even better.
You can join whatever court you like and move between courts during the event. We self-organize, so once you finish a game, you can start a rematch, mix with another court, or take a break as you see fit. Upon arrival, join the warmup happening on one of the courts.

**Refunds**: The venue does not provide refunds. Thus, we cannot refund you either, even if the event is canceled due to bad weather. Productive Sunday Morning - Co-Working Session (Deep Work, all work welcome)
Hey everyone!
I’m organising a co-working + socialising session for all of us who like to work on something (e.g. our own project, freelance or remote work) but don't feel like sitting alone at home. 🙂
To ensure that we have both **socialising** AND **working**, we will be using the so called “Pomodoro” technique:
**50min of deep work** (silent), followed by **10min of break** to socialise. Then repeat! If you get into flow, you're also welcome to skip the breaks.
