WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?
**Bring a laptop** and/or anything you’d like to work on, whether it’s a personal project, an experiment, or a skill you want to learn. You can come with friends or meet new people here. There’s no set agenda: some people code, some sketch ideas, some collaborate, and others just chat and get inspired.
SCHEDULE
Doors open at noon, then we’ll have quick introductions so everyone can share what they’re planning to work on. Note: arriving on time is the best way to hear what others are up to ;) Around 6 pm, we gather to share what we’ve worked on during the day.
BEGINNERS WELCOME!
If you’re new to creative coding, we'll be happy to help you get started, and you can find beginner-friendly resources at [creativecode.berlin/learn](http://creativecode.berlin/learn).
THIS IS YOUR SPACE
We do our best to create a welcoming environment for all people regardless of race, ethnicity, color, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, or genetics. People from group generally underrepresented in open-source, art, and technology fields are warmly encouraged to come by. And if you know someone who might enjoy this meetup but isn’t sure it’s for them, let them know they’ll be welcome!

https://www.i-feel-so-good.de/access-consciousness/kurse-ausbildungen/access-bars-kurs.html

We visit one of the most beautiful towns in Brandenburg (meiner Meinung nach .... the most).
It's the city where I live: Brandenburg an der Havel 👍
Take the RE1 train 🚆 that departs from Charlottenburg at 10,34 and arrives to Brandenburg at 11,19 (it stops in Wannsee too, as well as in Potsdam).
I will wait for you on the platform in Brandenburg Hbf station.
We make a walk in the city, on the pedestrian paths along the branches of the Havel river 🌊 and in the city center 🏠
Bring your own food 🍔 and drinks 🥤.
After the walk we will end up in Marienberg Park 🌿🌲, the most beautiful park of the city, where we can sit down to eat, drink and stay together.
After the Park, we can go to a beach of the city to swim 🏊 and relax for a while.
The people who want instead to come back earlier to Berlin, they can do so (everyone is free to decide).
For people who want to go to the beach: bring what you need 🩳🏖️ ☀️
2 trains per hour are available to come back to Berlin from Brandenburg.
I do not provide a "personal support" for people who do not take the indicated train.
If you have to contact me, make it via Whatsapp, not here on Meetup.

COMMERCIAL DANCE - 2000 SPECIAL
## Nostalgia, Energy & Iconic Moves
Step back into the golden era of MTV and VIVA and celebrate Yourself through the power of music and movement.
This class brings back the magic of a time when we watched weekly charts, learned choreographies from music videos, and were inspired by icons like Britney Spears, Beyoncé, and Shakira. It’s all about reliving that energy—while making it Your own.
Led by Anastasia, a Berlin-based dance instructor who started her journey back when Commercial Dance was known as Videoclip Dancing. She used to switch between MTV and VIVA, recording her favorite music videos on VHS to learn every move by heart. Today, she brings these memories back to life - blending nostalgia with fresh energy and a deep love for movement.
> I would like to create a space where You feel free to express Yourself, reconnect with the music You love, and enjoy every moment on the dancefloor. – Anastasia
Each session offers a mix of technique, grooves, and choreography inspired by legendary music videos, adapted to the level of every participant (both beginners and experienced dancers). Expect a dynamic, feel-good atmosphere where You can let go, have fun, and reconnect with the joy of dancing.
* While we’re celebrating the millennial era, all generations are warmly welcome

International Yoga Day in Berlin
International Yoga Day isn't just a date on the calendar — it's a global movement, and we're bringing that big energy home to our Berlin community. Come spend a playful, uplifting afternoon where ancient practice meets modern longevity: stretch, breathe deep, move together, and connect with fellow Berliners. And because no real celebration is complete without something sweet, we're balancing all that Zen with a serious amount of cake.
What We'll Do
01
The Big Celebration
We open with a shared tribute to the practice that brings us all here — a moment to honour yoga's roots and the community it builds, together as one room.
02
Longevity Flow
A feel-good flow built to keep you mobile, strong and vibrant — movement as the foundation of a long, well-lived life. Accessible whether it's your first class or your thousandth.
03
The Power of Breath
Guided breathwork to clear the mind and lift your energy — simple, powerful techniques you can take home and use any day you need to reset.
04
The Sweet Stuff
Cake, and plenty of it. We linger, we mingle, we celebrate — because community is built over something shared, and ours happens to be chocolate.
How It May Feel
Lighter, looser and more alive in your body
Calmer and clearer after guided breathwork
Connected to a room full of like-minded Berliners
Part of something bigger — a global day, celebrated locally
Genuinely happy, and a little bit full of cake
What to Bring
* —A cup (for tea and cake)
* —A water bottle to stay hydrated
* —Yourself, and your celebratory spirit\
Meet the Hosts
Neha Pugalia
Founder & Yoga Teacher
Neha Pugalia is the founder of Yogicescape Berlin, home to two studios in Prenzlauer Berg and Friedrichshain. She embodies the essence of India's living traditions — the Vedas, Ayurveda, and holistic living — and has been leading Yoga, Pranayama, and breathwork trainings worldwide, including 200-hour and 300-hour teacher training programmes. Her approach is not just instructional. It is a direct transmission of living practice — a heartfelt offering of love and deep wisdom rooted in ancient scripture. Neha's teaching is also guided by the principle Vasudev Kutumbakam — "The World is One Family" — and she gives back through work supporting underprivileged children in India.
Shohre
Yoga, Meditation & Sound Healing
Shohre is a 500-hour Yoga Alliance certified teacher (RYT-500) who has been teaching since 2018. Over the years her practice has grown beyond asana into meditation, mantra chanting and sound healing — threads she now weaves into every class she leads. Yoga changed her life; she speaks of it less as a practice than as a way of living she carries with gratitude every day. What she loves most is holding space where that healing energy can be shared — through movement, meditation, mantra circles and music.

SU&W In-person Mitte
Come along, grab a coffee, shut up, and write! We will do at least two sessions of each 45 minutes of writing and two breaks. We will start the first writing session at 11:15.
**For space reasons, we are limited to a certain number of attendees, so please update your RSVP if you can't come**. We often have a large waiting list, and not updating your RSVP or not showing up if you do RSVP yes means that others miss out. We also ask that if you do change your RSVP, do it with reasonable notice. Thanks! We typically take over all of the cafe, but try to share tables if you can to allow space for other customers.
If you are new, come and say hello, as we know that suddenly going quiet for 45 minutes and staring at that blank page can be intimidating when it's your first time. We have a lot of long-term regulars who will be happy to help you feel welcome.
In between sessions, we have a Telegram chat: https://t.me/joinchat/ERW3pxD5kfELGeWs9SUhjw

Customize the IDE: Building Extensions for Visual Studio Code - Alan Barber
**Important time note:** Please plan on arriving between 5:30 and 6:00 as the elevators lock after 6 and you'll need to message us and we'll need to come get you.
The building address is 4450 Bridge Park
The entrance is 6620 Mooney St, Suite 400
You will need to scan your ID at the door to get a visitor badge.
**Abstract**
*Customize the IDE: Building Extensions for Visual Studio Code*
Visual Studio Code is one of the most widely used development environments today, and much of its flexibility comes from its extension ecosystem. Extensions allow developers to customize the editor with new features, integrations, and workflow improvements tailored to their needs.
In this session, we’ll cover what extensions are and the different types available, including full extensions written in TypeScript or JavaScript, along with lighter-weight extensions such as color themes, language packs, language support, code snippets, and keymaps. We’ll also look at practical reasons a developer might create an extension, from automating repetitive tasks to adding custom tooling.
The session includes a hands-on walkthrough of creating a new extension, testing it locally, and understanding the basic project structure. We’ll close with a brief overview of how extensions are packaged and published to the Visual Studio Marketplace and other distribution options.

Take Control Of Your Life, Freedom From Negative Thoughts & Irrational Emotions
Feeling down? Sometimes depressed? Can't focus? Negativity & stress? Recent losses? Creativity in career and personal life hindered by mental blocks? Sometimes we never fully recover from traumatic experiences.
Whether it was yesterday, last week or a year ago, traumatic experiences - a loss of a loved one, losing a job, a breakup - can leave you scarred. You talk about it and feel a little better, but it never goes away. After you hang up the phone, it's still there; the sadness, the cloud, the over-thinking, the worry, the guilt. You try to focus, but you're blocked. You try to look forward into new experiences, new relationships but a cloud is hanging over you, casting a shadow on what you once considered a bright, cheerful future.
What happened to your courage? Your strength of character? You're 'why not' attitude? Whoever said 'time heals' must have had a special time machine, because after weeks, months, years, you're wondering - when exactly does that kick in? Sometimes it seems like drinking or drugs are the way to go. But they wear off, and now the problem is still there with added side effects from the drugs.
At this free local Meetup event we will talk about:
* What causes grief, anxiety and depression to become chronic.
* Is it possible to regain your joy and happiness even after traumatic experiences?
* How to break away from negativity and focus on the future
* What are the steps to take to get control of your mind and your emotions?
Learn about a safe, gentle, do-it-yourself counseling that can be done in the comfort of your own home.
Let's explore safe, effective solutions for healing from traumatic experiences.
Be sure to click on the red "Attend" button below to come to the event. We look forward to seeing you there.
This group is sponsored by the Dianetics & Scientology Life Improvement Center.

* What you're working on
* What you can help others with
Round 2:
* Community events you wanna plug. If none, that's cool too.
Round 3:
