Board Games in The Sun
Welcome to My Kind of Meeples.
Feel free to RSVP and come along for some board gaming delights.
We are moving back into our spiritual home of The Sun Of Camberwell!
After a few weeks sofa surfing at another venue we are back at The Sun Of Camberwell.
Please arrive from 6.30pm for chit chat and getting to know each other. If you are new, please introduce yourself to one of the hosts and they will look after you.
At 7pm we start our first game of picking games for the night. Those who have brought games along offer up what they have, with a brief introduction and an idea of difficulty level. People are then free to join any game that they like, and we will make sure everybody has a game to play. If it's a game you do not know, it will always be taught beforehand or there will be a quick refresher if you have played it before.
We play a lot of different sorts of games which last between 1 to 3 hours. We have a variety of games happening at once, and usually have at least one beginner-friendly game and one more advanced game running on any evening.
The evening normally lasts until closing time (approx 11pm) and depending on the game you play, you might get more than one game a night.
We do ask that, if you are able to, please purchase from the bar as the pub kindly accommodates us, so we like to give back.
We look forward to having you at our group.
Tuesday Evening Gaming at the Prince Alfred
**We are in the function room on the first floor, the door that leads upstairs is next to the fireplace.**
Please ensure you read these: [Rules](https://www.londononboard.com/rules-regulations)
We don't allow Chess, Scrabble, Monopoly, Roleplaying games, Magic the Gathering, Mafia, Werewolf etc. at LoB as there are other venues or groups for that and we want to make sure that there is enough space for board games.
We want everyone that comes to our events to have a good time, and we know that some games require more communication than others. Please be mindful that we are in a small space and that other members will need to explain rules and focus.
As a small group of volunteers, we are very dependent on the good will of our venues to host us for free. It is vitally important that everyone attending LoB buys food and drink to ensure that we can build and maintain those relationships with our venues. If you have any feedback about the venue, please report it to us directly rather than speaking to the staff.
You must only attend if you have a place, i.e. that you have made it off the waitlist. If you can no longer attend, please mark your RSVP as āNot Goingā, ideally more than an hour before the event starts. Please be aware that an organiser may ask to see proof of RSVP.

Board Games at Easton
Join us at Easton Town Center for a casual evening of board gaming. Play from our library or bring one of your favorites to share. We usually bring along Catan, Ticket to Ride, Cascadia, etc...
We'll be set up at the Donatos Pizza Party Room. It was free for us to reserve, but you may want to buy a drink or go in on a pizza.
Why Easton? Although there aren't any board game stores / cafes here, it's a nice area. More importantly, this event coincides with LifeTime Fitness Parent's Night Out, so our kid will get babysat. If you happen to be a member of Lifetime you too can get free babysitting and play some games.

I've been hardware hacking a See N Say to make it say whatever I want - while the project is in progress still, it should be working by this meetup! I'll bring it for demo. [See N Say Project](https://github.com/cdeever/esp32-see-n-say)
While we continue to pursue a more permanent venue for this Meetup, weāll be using public library facilities based on availability.
This session will be at the Worthington Park Library in the Olentangy Meeting Room.
In-Person Event: The Answers to Depression & Anxiety
This is an in-person meeting. At this meeting you will get answers to depression and anxiety. Find out the source of them and how to get rid of them.
Did you know that unwanted emotions like anxiety, depression, unhappiness, loneliness, hopelessness, anger, fear, or feelings of irritation donāt just fall on you for no reason. They are not random occurrences that simply happen to people's minds. They are definitely not due to a chemical imbalance in your brain from some nebulous chemical reaction "by chance".
Your negative emotions are the symptoms of the painful experiences that you have which are not healed, and which are still affecting you.
The effects of these painful experiences are exacerbated by the pressures or difficulties of the other problems in your life.
Come to our Meetup, where we can introduce you to some of the knowledge, tools and techniques of the breakthroughs in the field of the mind that we can apply to this ever important area of life.
Be sure to click on the red "Attend" button below to come to this local event. We look forward to seeing you there.
