ALL THE WOMEN IN ME: meet, greet & embrace all the sub personalities within
**🌸 ALL THE WOMEN IN ME 🌸**
***INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY SPECIAL***
A Journaling Workshop for Every Version of You
Let's be honest – we're all carrying around an entire committee of women inside us. You know them well: the perfectionist who color-codes her calendar, the rebel who wants to dye her hair blue at 40, the inner critic who's somehow channeling your third-grade teacher, and that wild dreamer who still believes she'll learn to juggle while riding a unicycle (hey, no judging!)
But hey, where are they all coming from? Let's look in the past, dive into your family's story, and see what comes up!
Through guided writing exercises, we'll:
* Meet your inner cast of characters (and maybe discover some surprise guests)
* Explore how these different parts of you have shaped your story
* Learn to embrace your contradictions (yes, you can be both a warrior and someone who cries at cat videos)
* Transform self-judgment into self-acceptance (or at least a friendly eye-roll)
What to bring:
* Your favorite notebook (the one you've been saving for "something special" – this is it!)
* A pen that makes you feel like a writer
* Your sense of humor
* Zero journaling experience required – seriously, even if your last diary entry was "All boys are idiots!", some time in secondary school
*
Who this is for: Women who are curious about their own complexity, tired of trying to fit into one-size-fits-all definitions, and ready to explore their inner world with honesty and a dash of wit.
Details:
* 1.5-hour workshop
* Small group setting (max 10 participants)
* Guided exercises, free writing, and group sharing (only if you want to – no pressure!)
Come join us for an evening of self-discovery, real talk, and maybe even some surprisingly good laughs. Because getting to know yourself doesn't always have to be so serious.
P.S. Your inner perfectionist wants you to know that it's totally fine to show up in sweatpants. Your inner diva suggests adding a fabulous scarf. We welcome them both.

Salir del armario con David Hartman
(CAST)
plan, vente.
Será muy bueno verte.
Rafa y Pep.

Publishing a book today is easier than ever.
What's not so easy is having something original, brave, and honest to tell.
We invite you to the presentation of "Coming Out at Any Age" by David
Hartman.
David is one of those people who spreads curiosity about life and people, along with an indestructible sense of humor.
We're lucky enough to know him from some of this group's activities, and since we know he recently published his first book, we've kindly asked him to present it to us.
His stories and some chapters of his life are worthy of a book or a film.
We've talked about several fun things that might happen at the presentation, but we don't have all the details yet.
The plan is:
We'll meet at El Punto, in the area upstairs, at 6:30 p.m.
We have the space for one hour, so we need to be on time.
Afterwards, we can have something else to drink there (optional).
This activity isn't meant to "sell books," but there will be a few copies available.
It's our idea, the organizers idea, to promote the work of David, someone we
sincerely love having as a friend.
The presentation will be mostly in English, and we'll arrange ourselves so
everyone is near someone who can help translating if needed.
In exchange for the space, Jordi from Punto BCN only asks us for one drink per
person. That's the only cost to participate.
This is one of those events where, as they say, the more the merrier.
If you like to read, know that coming out isn't always easy, and the plan fits you, join us.
It will be great to see you.
Rafa and Pep.

And we have been gifted with the most powerful tool to do this - our awareness. In this workshop, we will immerse ourselves in a series of exercises, meditations and movement practices to calm the mind and direct the awareness, allowing you to tap into your creativity like never before.

(Marcel Marceau)

Scriptwriting Events This Week
Discover what is happening in the next few days
Cinema Club: "Perfect Days” (at a private location)
Inspired by the [Cinema Clubs and magazines](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cahiers_du_Cin%C3%A9ma) of the 1950s in France that launched what we now know as the "film critic", this event will follow a similar structure. We'll gather and watch a film at a beautiful private residence hosted by one of our BCN Screenwriting Session regulars! In order to get the secret address, you'll have to sign up here and shoot a note to Neal on Whatsapp or IG :)
We'll be watching a recent iconic film, "Perfect Days", rated one of the top 100 movies of the 21st century, nominated for an Academy Award, and so much more. This gathering will be totally free. Well also have a few snacks out (you’re welcome
to bring some too!).
As an added bonus, we *may* screen a short film (just like the old days of Pixar) right before the movie, if everyone is early/on time.
Below is the approx. schedule - we ask you to please be on time!
7:15/30pm - We'll meet and mingle!
7:45pm - Movie starts!
\~9:45pm - Movie ends and we'll chat, debate, share thoughts, and tea :)
10:30pm - We'll respect the owners home, and graciously help her clean up, and sleep.
And if folks want to hang out afterwards, there are many places nearby!
Please RSVP and write a message so I can add you to the Whatsapp group for coordination on locations!

The nine human emotions of the Indian aesthetic theory mad, sad, glad and afraid - this is how we generally characterize everyday emotions. This is limited and skewed towards "negative" emotions. And there have to be more "positive" emotions out there. Right? What would it be like to embody emotions like Heroism or Wonder or Peace or Compassion? Learn the ancient Indian system of Navarasas (Nava - 9; rasas - emotions) where we work with Indian myths as a way to evoke deep emotional responses. As formalized by the sage Bharata, this work will help you bring a whole new array of characters and experiences to life on stage.

What better place to experiment than in the most beautiful city in Europe.
Our tasks will be to shoot scenes using several techniques:
\- subject in motion\, camera in position
\- subject and camera in motion
\- subject stationary\, camera pans around
No experience is necessary, just bring your own cameras and enjoy!

Shut Up & Write! Kingsdale Shopping Center
Greetings writers! Come down and join your fellow wordsmiths for one hour of uninterrupted writing time in the upper level of the Market District Supermarket in Upper Arlington.
The main entrance of the shopping center opens onto stairs/elevator leading up to the 2nd floor cafe section where we will have a table displaying a sign with the Shut Up & Write logo.
Writing is largely a solitary craft. Practicing with others in a community setting may be the thing you need to fire your own routine.
We’ll meet on Wednesday evenings, starting the clock at 6:30, following a brief period of introductions. This is solid writing time and all inclusive. Any project is acceptable, be it fiction, non -fiction, work or homework assignment. All is welcome and will remain private to you.
The market boasts a Starbucks, a full service bar and various affordable food options. Parking is plentiful, free Wifi is provided as well as outlets for charging your devices, though they are somewhat limited, so plan accordingly.
Show up as early as you like, or stay late. This group tends to socialize some, both before and after the alloted time, but this is not mandatory to you. Feel free to come and go as you please and late arrivals are welcome.
The cafe may be noisy on occasion so headphones/ earbuds are reccommended as you see fit.
Please try to RSVP if possible so that we may grab enough seats for all—the venue can be busy at times.
Feel free to message me privately wth any questions and/ or concerns you may have.

Speak Easy (Storytelling)
The topic for March is "Our Bodies, Ourselves"
Speak Easy: true stories, told live.
The idea is simple: an audience, an open microphone, and great stories. Hilarious, gripping, poignant- it's up to you. Audiences are invited to come to listen or come to tell as folks from all corners of Columbus offer their stories live on stage! Held at Wild Goose Creative's warm, intimate space, this night of tales occurs on the 3rd Thursday of every month. Doors open at 6:30 pm, show starts at 7:00 pm. Please arrive early if you want to tell, as we generally only have room for a limited number of tellers, and the sign-up sheet has a tendency to fill up fast.
Formed around the idea that people need stories--they're what hold and draw us together--SpeakEasy celebrates the strangeness and commonness of being human. And in a world of smartphones, Facebook, Twitter, and more . . . it gives people a real, breathing, in-person way to connect.
The night is geared for true stories of all kinds, taking the best tales told around kitchen tables, in darkened pubs, on the street corner, and at late-night parties and giving them an audience. Speak Easy is also a great outlet for performers, writers, and artists looking to share their favorite stories and perfect their skills. We strongly encourage tellers to please tell the story rather than read it so we keep within the spirit of good storytelling and stay engaged with the audience. All are welcome.
