The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan offers a heady mix of natural wonders and ancient history. Geographically situated at the heart of a region that has influenced history and culture for over 2000 years, Jordan has been influenced by Romans, Byzantines, Crusaders and Arabs. On this tour, we will experience the highlights of this beautiful country, including touring the spectacular and extensive Roman ruins of Jerash, visiting the lowest point on the earthâs surface, the Dead Sea for swimming and floating, exploring the fabled Rose Red City of Petra, luxury camping in the desert of Wadi Rum and a chance to enjoy the modern metropolis of the capital city Amman.

On the way to Petra, we will stop and visit Madaba with its Ottoman-style houses and Byzantine-era mosaics including a 6th century mosaic map of Jerusalem and the Holy Land which can be seen at St Georgeâs Church. Neurodivergent Artist meet up - March 2026
Hello all!
IT'S BEEN A WHILE! **But the neurodivergent artist meet ups are back!**
Come along to meet fellow neurodivergent artists, share your work and chat about your art!
I'd love to \*finally\* put on an exhibition next year to showcase neurodivergent artists' work - so it would be great to get your thoughts on this too so I can start planning.
**Please RSVP if you can make it! I will need numbers before booking the table. RSVPs close Monday, 2 March at 11.59pm.**
**Meet up format:**
We usually meet for a drink (no pressure to drink alcohol!), introduce ourselves to each other, share examples of our work and have a chat! You don't need to bring anything, but a link to your website or social media so you can show us your creations would be lovely!
We usually meet at a pub and whilst I always request one of the quieter tables - I am open to venue suggestions! I have left the event location as The Barrowboy and Banker for now, but please let me know if you know of anywhere more suitable by Monday 2 March.
Hope to see you there!

**An Evening of Short Talks & Lively Discussion**
This is a salon-style discussion night for curious minds who enjoy thoughtful conversation, respectful disagreement, and a glass of wine.

#### đ Philosophy, Meaning & Life
* âIs meaning discovered or invented?â
* âWhat would a good life look like if no one was watching?â
* âIs comfort the enemy of depth?â
* âWhat do we owe strangers?â

Underwater Rugby training
You can expect a friendly introduction to the sport, but in all honesty you will dive in at the deep end to learn UWR.
Please bring swimwear and an open mind and expectation to have fun. We can lend an UWR hat, snorkle, mask and fins. Although if you have them already it is better to bring your own.
Expect to swim, dive to 4m depth, hold your breath longer than you thought you could, be involved in drills and games. It is full contact and you will be wrestling other players to take the ball and pass to your team or score a goal.
Please get on touch with questions or intent to attend prior to session so that we can support with kit etc.

Bad Girls Book Club March 2026
**Our March pick is *God of the Woods* by Liz Moore.**
**This monthâs novel is an award-winning literary mystery that blends family drama with psychological suspense. It explores womenâs voices and relationships while delivering an exciting, eerie, and deeply suspenseful story. The book is 576 pages in print or 14 hours and 35 minutes on audiobook.**
Early morning, August 1975: a camp counselor discovers an empty bunk. Its occupant, Barbara Van Laar, has gone missing. Barbara isnât just any thirteen-year-old: sheâs the daughter of the family that owns the summer camp and employs most of the regionâs residents. And this isnât the first time a Van Laar child has disappeared. Barbaraâs older brother similarly vanished fourteen years ago, never to be found.
As a panicked search begins, a thrilling drama unfolds. Chasing down the layered secrets of the Van Laar family and the blue-collar community working in its shadow, Mooreâs multi-threaded story invites readers into a rich and gripping dynasty of secrets and second chances. It is Liz Mooreâs most ambitious and wide-reaching novel yet.

Kevin Rhodus from Lucy Deep Park Northside is coming to talk to us about his extensive neighborhood Christmas light display that is open in November and December every year north of Dublin.
9 houses over 12 acres and over 120,000 individual controlled lights that sync to music which you can tune into on your radio! Quite impressive!
https://ldplights.com/
We'll dive into the tech that runs the show -- should be a blast to hear about this very elaborate display!
While we continue to pursue a more permanent venue for this Meetup, weâll be using public library facilities based on availability.
This session will be at the Dublin Library in the Meeting Room 2
