This month we are having another moderator lead community discussion, this time around The Placebo Effect. As we previously did on the topic of plant based "meats", we will: 1. Poll the audience on their knowledge and attitude to the Placebo Effect 2. Have a quick introduction overview talk by our moderator on the Placebo Effect to get some common ground 3. Have a moderator lead community discussion to explore many aspects of the Placebo Effect 4. Poll the audience a second time to see if the discussion has changed anyone's answers (Noting as good scientific skeptics we should be open to changing our mind when presented with new evidence) Since this is a community discussion, you as an attendee will be a big part of the success of the night, so do come along prepared to listen and speak up! As a new yoga teacher (200 YTT certified), I’m excited to share the practice of stretching and Hatha Yoga with others, guiding you through mindful breath and purposeful movement. We’ll explore foundational poses, gentle alignment, and slow, steady stretches that honor your body's limits while inviting greater flexibility and balance. My intention is to create a supportive space where we practice together, learn from each other, and cultivate calm, focus, and presence both on and off the mat. Whether you’re new to yoga or returning after a pause, we’ll move at a comfortable pace, listen to our bodies, and celebrate small progress as we grow.
