Dark clothing is advisable if you are going anywhere afterwards and make sure to wipe any glue off with water then machine wash :) **I HAVE A YOUNG CHILD OR TEENAGER CAN I BRING THEM?** Unfortunately not, we do not host events for children this space is for 18+ we want to create a place where adults can behave like children and get creative. **CAN WE LEAVE OUR PIECES THERE?** We don't have capacity to keep the pots as our studio is open 7 days a week we give everyone a bag to put their masterpieces in. **THE EVENT SAYS SOLDOUT, CAN MY FRIEND COME?** Unfortunately not, if an event is soldout it means there are no seats left. **I'M GOING TO BE LATE, CAN I STILL COME?** Yes, we don't usually start exactly on time. Due to a large volume of people arriving at once it usually starts atleast 10 minutes after the time on the event. If you're really late just come in and don't worry!

Public Tour: Brigit - Dublin City Celebrating Women 01 February 11.30 - 12.30 Location: Courtyard Admission: Free. No booking required. I'll be in the coffee shop at 11am if anyone would like to meet up for a coffee before the tour.

We will meet at Laragh Free Carpark just past the Woollen Mills for 10am and traverse the above named mountains. This will be 15km and 500m ascent, over a mixture of terrains. It will be done at a relaxed pace. Please be properly prepared for a days hike, which includes hiking boots, rain jacket, rain trousers, and adequate food and water. No jeans, runners or dogs. January is in the rear view mirror, so why not join us for our first walk of the year and meet some new people while you're at it! We will hike up Bray Head and along the Cliff Walk (Upper Path) to Greystones, followed by lunch at The Happy Pear (optional). We'll leave at 11:20 AM sharp from Bray DART station. If you arrive late, you may be able to catch up with us along the way, but we can't promise to wait for individual members. A reasonable level of fitness is required - the Bray Head part is short but pretty steep! But you could take the DART to Greystones (next stop after Bray) and meet us at the Happy Pear if you are not the hiking type! If you want to invite someone along as a +1, they will be your responsibility. Remember: all members are to be treated with respect and kindness regardless of social background. Dale Gnidovec, Curator of the Orton Hall Museum of Geology at The Ohio State University, will be presenting a program he has wanted to share with us for a long time: Plate Tectonics. His description of his program: Continents on the move - Nothing in Earth history makes sense without moving continents - it tells us why mountains, volcanoes, minerals, and fossils are where they are. This talk examines the evidence for continental drift, why it was disbelieved, and explains how the more-encompassing theory of plate tectonics was developed and eventually proven. Dale is an energetic, incredibly knowledgeable, and very entertaining speaker and this will be another wonderful program by Dale. Hope to see you there! Food and drinks will be provided at the event.
