**Beginners sessions: starting and meeting new people.**

Join us for zazen (mediation) on Wednesday evening. **Wednesday** is for existing students. Beginners or newcomers to the dojo can arrange an introduction to zazen practice by sending an email. zen.in.ireland@gmail.com **On Wednesday**, students have the opportunity for daisan which is one-to-one with the teacher and gives the opportunity to ask questions in relation to the practise. It is a wonderful **opportunity** to deepen ones understanding and practise of Zen. **Mary Soshin Laheen** is the teacher at Earth+Sky Zen. Recommended donation is €5. Even when you believe you have no artistic talent – this is where you learn the basic visual vocabulary and ingredients for visualisation with the bikablo® technique. For example, drawing simple flipchart templates that you can use in your work the next day! You don't want to miss this! **What to expect in our two-day visual facilitation training?** Francesco will conduct the bikablo basics two-day-training-format, focusing on learning the bikablo visualisation technique and its application in presentation, facilitation, recording and knowledge-sharing. No matter how small or big your talent or experience, you will learn how to use small details to make large spaces look clear, attractive, and lively. Throughout the day Francesco will take plenty of time to answer your questions and guide you into the world of visual language with guidance and techniques suited to fit your individual progress. ***What does this mean in practice? We'll cover the following topics:*** **Holding the pen and drawing the line:** How do I draw clean lines and structure my space on the flipchart? **Graphics and text containers:** How do I create simple arrows and connecting elements from basic geometric shapes in order to present related topics? Which text containers (e.g. speech bubbles) can be used to support which kinds of messages? Objects and symbols: How do I draw simple symbols to underline messages? What is essential, what can be left out? **People:** What easy ways do bikablo® provide to draw people, roles, groups and situations? About us: The Tibetan Dharma and Meditation Group is part of a Buddhist organisation based in Taiwan, which is centred on one of the greatest living Rinpoches (teachers) in the world at the moment. It aims to introduce people living in Ireland to Buddhist teachings and practices that have been passed to Rinpoche through his masters and their masters going back many, many generations in order to benefit and bring peace to all sentient beings.
