AWS Security User Group Singapore: April 2026!
Hey AWS Security fam 👋
**Our goal remains the same: bring security and cloud practitioners together.**
Security is wide; cloud teams move fast. Let us meet in the middle — share what is working, what is painful, and how we can ship safer, faster.
Want to speak next time?
We are lining up lightning talks and deep dives for upcoming meetups — 30-minute sessions, interactive by design. New voices welcome: operators, builders, blue/red/purple teamers, platform folks.
If you have shipped it, broken it, or fixed it, we want to hear it. (Ping the organizers / DM us after you RSVP.)
🎤 **Speakers**
✅ **Building Visibility into Identity: Reporting with AWS IAM Identity Center**
📌 Alfred Koh - Senior Manager, Fintech
This session explores how AWS services can be combined to build a practical reporting dashboard for AWS IAM Identity Center, using QuickSight to surface access patterns, governance signals, and operational visibility for security and identity teams.
✅ **Hardening Sensitive CI/CD Workloads with AWS Lambda**
📌 Bobby Lin - Manager, Application Security and DevSecOps, Fintech
In this session, Bobby will share an architectural approach to decouple high risk workflows from CI/CD pipelines using AWS Lambda, reducing blast radius and improving security posture. The discussion will use GitLab based pipelines and focus on secure design patterns.
✅ **Automating Secure Access Across Your AWS Ecosystem**
📌 Deddy Gunawi - APJ Solution Architect, Okta
In this session, Deddy will explore practical approaches to automating secure access across AWS environments through centralized identity and lifecycle management. The discussion will cover mapping user identities to cloud resources, automating provisioning and deprovisioning workflows, and applying attribute based access models to reduce manual credential management and over privileged accounts.

**Event will happen by default. Usually we have 5 - 10 regular players every week. (They are not on meetup so you won't see the attendee count reflected here) So just come down! If you can't find us, text us at 9199 0946**
When you have reached, the person in charge (likely Daniel or Kai) will arrange a player of your skill level for you to play with. If you haven't played in a long while or are just started learning for awhile, don't worry as there are other beginners and you will be able to play with handicaps.
Most players start streaming in at 7PM onwards but it's ok to be early or later, whichever is more convenient to your timing.
You are free to arrive at any time and leave at any time. Most serious players will play and review their games until 10PM and you are encouraged to do so. If you require a review of your game, you may politely request it from your opponent. We are all here to socialise and build a community around this game.
There may be instances where there is a low visitor count. In such a case, Daniel or Kai will play a game with your personally, so not to worry about a wasted trip.
Please note that this is not a class for learning how to play. You may find our classes on our website @ https://thegoacademy.com.sg.
Most importantly, enjoy and have fun. You may contact us at 9199 0946.
We are open every Wednesday 7PM to 10PM until specifically stated. Join our WhatsApp group when you meet us in person. Do take note that we will not be dropping you a message on meetup to confirm that the event is happening or to liaise with you. The event by default is confirmed to take place every Wednesday.
Also do take note that the main door to Ulu Pandan CC will be closed after 10PM, kindly take the side exit near the inner security counter.

#### 🎮 What’s the Game Plan?
Here’s how the courts are split:
🎾 **1 Beginner Court** (*For newcomers or those preferring a relaxed pace*)
* Learning court lines, scoring, and basic rules.
* Can sustain short rallies and demonstrate basic strokes but still working on consistency.
🏅 **1 Intermediate Court**
* Solid consistency, mid-pace rallies
* Shot placement is improving, but still work-in-progress
* Great for those ready to level up
🏆 **Official Tournament Balls:**
All games will be played using **Franklin X-40 tournament balls** for consistency and a high-quality playing experience.
**Paddle Queue System:** To keep things fair, players will place their paddles in line in box to indicate their turn in the respective court.
**Rules of the Game**:
* **Switch It Up**: After every match, you’ll get a new partner and new opponents.
* **Scoring**: First to 15 points, rally style (no need to keep track of who’s serving—so much simpler lah).
* **Timing**: Each match is capped at 15 minutes, so don’t peng san trying to win.
* **Be Nice**: Keep it friendly—this isn’t the SEA Games, okay?
***
### **Why You’ll Love It:**
* Play with a variety of kakis and test your skills.
* End the day with new friends and maybe a snack after.
***
**What to Bring:**
* Your paddle (or rent one—we’re not judging).
* Water bottle—don’t faint halfway
* Your best “aiyah nvm” attitude when the ball goes sideways.
🔔 **Friendly Reminder:**
Pickleball is a social and physical activity, please be mindful of your own safety and physical limits. Participation is at your own risk. Stay hydrated, warm up properly, and don’t paiseh to rest if you need to. 💪

Talking about life, random thoughts, or nothing at all
Meeting kind, normal people (no pressure to perform)

Fun & Chill Social Gathering | Murder Mystery | Aged 30 - 60
🕵️♂️ **OOOH CLUB PRESENTS: MURDER AT THE SPEAKEASY** 🕵️♂️
Trade the boring corporate mixer for a night of blackmail, craft cocktails, and deception.
Welcome to **Employees Only**. The drinks are premium, the crowd is strictly curated, and unfortunately... there’s a dead body in the VIP lounge.
Richard Sterling, a notoriously ruthless corporate headhunter, has been found dead, choked on his own embossed business card.
Someone in this room wanted him gone before he turned our club into another stiff networking event.
Was it the rival promoter? The bitter ex-wife? Or the mixologist?
The Experience (Exclusively for Expats & Locals Ages 30-60):
This isn't a cheesy escape room or a chaotic scavenger hunt. This is a premium, interactive cocktail hour. Upon arrival, you will receive a character card, a secret motive, and three "bribery chips."
Grab a drink, settle into a booth, and start gossiping. You’ll have two hours to form alliances, buy secrets, and solve the murder or cover up your own tracks.
🚫 **The Rule:** Zero boring small talk. Leave your real-life business cards at home.

Engaging in men’s work is the new way to forge friendships while being open-minded to personal growth. Many men experience healthier relationships, personally and professionally, by engaging in this work.
Open Men’s Group is a container for men to share vulnerably without receiving judgment or feedback.
We believe that emotionally mature, powerful, compassionate, and purpose-driven men will help heal some of society’s deepest wounds. We support the powerful brilliance of men and we are willing to look at, and take full responsibility for, the pain we are also capable of creating – and suffering. We care deeply about men, our families, communities, and the planet.
