Women Who Build
On **14th March**, we’re spending the day building. Portfolios. Personal sites. Tools. Side projects. Anything you’ve been meaning to make but kept putting off because it felt too technical. The tool is **[Lovable](https://lovable.dev/)**: describe what you want, and watch it appear. No syntax. No Stack Overflow. No, asking a developer friend for a favour. Bring a laptop. Bring an idea. Better yet, bring a friend. **This is a beginner-friendly event, no prior experience needed - All Skill levels welcome** **PLEASE REGISTER ON this link to get entry: [https://giveago.co/register/women-builders](https://giveago.co/register/women-builders)** ## What you could build A portfolio that actually shows who you are and what you do. A landing page for a project or business you’ve been sitting on. A tool that solves something annoying in your life. A website for a community, a cause, or something completely personal. Whatever you’ve been thinking about building, this is the day. **This event is celebrating Women in tech, however everyone is welcome!** **PLEASE REGISTER ON this link to get entry: [https://giveago.co/register/women-builders](https://giveago.co/register/women-builders)** ## What the day looks like 🕙 **11:00 AM** Doors open at Baseline, coffee and settling in ⚙️ **11:30 AM** Intro to Lovable and what’s possible 🚀 **12:00 PM** Build time 🍕 **1:00 PM** Lunch and conversation 🛠️ **1:30 PM** Back to building 🖥️ **3:00 PM** Show and tell: share what you made 🔚 **3:30 PM** Close No experience needed. Mountain Skills 1 Course
Mountain Skills 1 Course
***Mountain Skills for Only €120 / course*** Ever wanted to learn the skills you need to become a competent navigator in the Irish mountains, the UK, the Alps or beyond! As a fully qualified mountain guide and course provider for Mountaineering Ireland and the UK, I run Mountain Skills which is a nationally accredited course and is delivered in an upland environment. Hiking in Ireland can be challenging not only because of its wilderness, but the island has very little sign posted hiking trails in the mountains or hills. In addition to this, as being an island in the Atlantic we experience the forces of nature; storms and weather events. In other words, Ireland is probably the best place in Europe to learn a new outdoor skill like Mountain Skills. The aim of this course is to help you learn the skills you need to get out hiking in the hills and mountains independently, safely and responsibly. You will learn how to navigate with confidence by any type of weather conditions. A Mountain Skills course is run over 2 days in an upland environment and covers: Map reading, map description, map scale, contour lines, land and ground features, navigation legs, simple navigation techniques, setting the map, the 5 D, estimation of direction & destination, grid reference, mountain hazards, hypothermia, mountain environment, timing, pacing, route planning, route card, emergency procedures, personal equipment, safe movement skills, river crossing and much more… Some level of fitness is essential in taking part in this course. Each course (MS1 / MS2) is a 20 hour syllabus which includes indoor and outdoor sessions and night navigation (MS2) **A course includes:** Maps and compass provided, tea breaks, course notes, 3 route cards, a free hiking day practice as part of a weekend. **For Only €100 for under 18 and students and €120 for adults.** Accommodations can be provided Her are few additionnal dates: Jan 24-25 MS2 Glenmalure, Co.Wicklow Feb 11-12 MS1 Comeragh, Co.Waterford March 21-22 Glenmalure, Co. Ireland for St. Patrick's Day
Click Link for all of the details: [https://www.suitcasegals.com/ireland-the-emerald-isle-march-16-26-2026](Ireland for St. Patrick's Day) Ireland, as experienced through this journey, unfolds like a timeless story—rich with old stone, sweeping green hills, and villages full of character. From the tranquil Wicklow Mountains to Kilkenny’s medieval charm, the country welcomes you with warmth and a deep sense of history. Cobh’s colorful harbor, Blarney’s legendary castle, and the bright streets of Kinsale offer a mix of heritage and lighthearted spirit. Farther west, West Cork, Killarney, and the Dingle Peninsula reveal Ireland at its most poetic—wild coasts, quiet lakes, and landscapes that feel almost sacred. The Cliffs of Moher rise in dramatic glory before Galway shifts the rhythm with music, markets, and seaside bustle. A stop in Athlone whispers a thousand years of stories, while Dublin brings the journey home with grand traditions, lively pubs, and cultural treasures at every turn. Throughout, Ireland feels both familiar and magical—a land that cherishes its past, embraces its visitors, and invites you to savor every winding mile.

Zazen Meditation + Dharma talk or Kinhin
Zazen Meditation + Dharma talk or Kinhin
The meaning of the word zen is meditation, zazen means sitting meditation. In zazen practice we begin to know ourselves, and to go beyond the limits of our personal ego. Within our tradition zazen is referred to as shikantaza, not doing, letting go of thoughts, dropping off body and mind. This sitting meditation is the focus of our practice. Language limits our ability to communicate the true nature of zen; it is something that is better understood through practice. We are open to everyone interested in learning about zen. Intro workshop for newcomers is available at 5.30pm each Sunday. The dojo is a sacred place and it is important to be considerate of everyone. We have many people that travel to practise together once a week or once a month. So for that reason it is really essential that we all know the structure of the sitting practise (when to sit, how to do Kinhin, the different bell sounds and their meaning etc), to ensure a silent, safe and meaningful meditation. And it's also great to meet everyone before the sitting practise. And answer any questions you may have. We have zafus and zabutons (mats and cushions) for all to sit on. Chairs are available too. Comfortable clothing for sitting, black or neutral tones best. We greatly appreciate a donation of €5 to cover costs if it's possible for you. Please arrive 10min before start so 6ish (if you're not doing the intro workshop). You are very welcome to our dojo!

ServiceNow's Got Talent
Builders, creators, architects, admins, consultants - come one, come all. This one's for you. We're bringing a little friendly competition to the Columbus ServiceNow community while highlighting the cool things people have built on the platform. Five presenters will take the stage to showcase something they've built, solved, designed, or imagined on the ServiceNow platform - and a panel of judges (plus YOU, our amazing audience) will score them live. So basically, America's Got Talent but make it ServiceNow's Got Talent. Bring a notepad if you'd like 'cause you'll definitely be learning something new. Each presenter gets 10 minutes max to wow the crowd with: • A demo • A real-world business solution • A bold idea • A UX transformation • Or a creative use of the platform Judging Criteria: 🏆 Business Value 🚀 Innovation ✨ User Experience This event is about celebrating ideas, sharing knowledge, and showing how ServiceNow can drive both business impact and meaningful user value. Come learn. Come support. Come get inspired. Refreshments and bites will be provided. And maybe next time… you’ll be on stage.
Using Philosophy to Cope with Current Events
Using Philosophy to Cope with Current Events
So this month's prompt is more general. I think we can all agree that we are living in "unique" times that require coping skills. I think that one role and/or purpose of philosophy is to help us deal with our daily lives and our "unique" times. So, let's share our feelings and thoughts about which philosopher/philosophy we turn to in order to deal with our crazy events. Who/what helps you stay focused in your daily life and helps you sleep at night. I find that Stoicism with a little philosophical pessimism mixed in goes a long way in helping me deal with what I see as very destructive, fearful and mean spirited public policies at both the state and federal levels. Hope to see you on March 28th!
