IMPORTANT: Please have a Leap card with money on it before you join us for this walk as we are travelling by Luas after we meet. Hello! 🙂 Meeting place: Pret A Manger - beside Harcourt Luas. Meeting time: 10am onwards. Departure time: 1030am sharp. I'll tell you the plan when you arrive. Basically, we take a Luas together south from Harcourt and we walk. The route is approximately 10km. There will be time for coffee/cake, toilets etc. We start and finish at a Luas stop on the Green Line. If you live in south Dublin along the Green Line, you are welcome to message me the day before this event to ask me which Luas stop we are going to and you can join us there instead of having to come to the cory centre. Though you are welcome to join the group at the start at Pret beside Harcourt if you prefer. The weather forecast for this Saturday is pretty promising so hopefully we’ll see you joining us for a great walk & coffee/ lunch afterwards 🚶🏼‍♀️🚶🏻‍♂️ We are meeting at the sail sculpture at the corner of Alfie byrne road and Clontarf road at 11am Welcome to the new Dublin Port Tolka Estuary Greenway, a dedicated cycle and pedestrian route along the Northern perimeter of the Port overlooking the Tolka Estuary. The Greenway is a celebration of an area of the Port that has never been accessed by the public before and offers people an exciting new destination to visit. Walk takes approx 2 to 2.5 hours on the flat. **Note: if you are delayed or need to cancel, can you please leave a message below so that we can wait for you (or cancel your booking) thanks 🙏

You are invited to come and enjoy this social event. it's open to all age groups. As usual you will be able to meet friends and soon to be friends in a great bar for drinks and social conversation. Dress to impress - The Baily is premium establishment with a smart and neat dress code. Any thing less means you may be turned away by the door staff. It should be quite easy to find me/the organiser. There may be a second location for those that are dressed well and want to drink, chat and dance for the remainder of the night :) Attendees will be expected to purchase at least 1 drink alcoholic or non-alcoholic. This is one of our performance sessions. Microphones, PA, Speakers and lights on a stage setting. These sessions give members the opportunity to perform in public, so you can bring along your friends and family to see you perform. There are limited performance spaces so the first 20 performers will get a slot on the night. Please note this is only open to members that attend our weekly Meetup sessions on a regular enough basis. Each performer should have 2 songs and an additional back up just in case we are running ahead of time on the night. I suggest you update the comment field with your song list so others can avoid duplication. We booked the room in The Halfway House, Ashtown, Navan Road. Admission is €7.00 pay at the door (Revolut accepted) on the night. Finger food will be served. The venue is serviced by bus and the Maynooth train.

This is a St. Patrick's Day special with lots of general history and a Paddy's Day story for the day that's in it!*** Hi everyone, my name is Marina Boyle and I'm a local tour guide excited to share Bray with you! On this guided walk I'll take you through the local stories of early Bray through to Victorian times and into the modern day. Did you know that Bray was once a popular honeymoon destination? Or indeed a smuggling hot spot, home to Turkish Baths, and the location of Ireland's oldest film studio? As I share these stories and more, there will also be plenty of time to chat and make connections. Whether you are local, new to the area, or wanting to learn and make friends at the same time, this tour is for you! We'll start at Bray Harbour, opposite the Harbour Bar. This is accessible by DART, bus or car. The tour will finish in a similar location and last approximately 1.5 hours. This is a tip based tour. We will be meeting at Portmarnock Dart Station for 11 AM. How to get there, H2, DART or 102 Bus. We will be starting from Portmarnock Train Station, walking the coast of Portmarnock to Malahide and turning near the end into Malahide Castle. We will be walking around Malahide and Portmarnock Beach, Talbot Botanic Gardens, Malahide Heritage Gardens, Malahide Castle and the Southern Cross Monument. Walk Duration is around 2 in a half hours (10.5 Kilometres) There is a lot of coffee shops nearby for those who want to get some food or coffee. We will be finishing in Malahide, not looping back to Portmarnock. Every event is 5 Euros but if you come two days in a row, you get the second event free. See you on Sunday.
