bikablo® Basic Day 1 Training
**bikablo® Basic Day 1 Training**
Each year, more than a thousand participants worldwide attend **bikablo® Basic Training:** a method of using simple visuals to facilitate groups and conversations. In a small group of like-minded people, Jill Greenbaum will provide individualized feedback and support to address your unique learning needs. When appropriate, we divide the learning group into teams at different levels. You’ll come to the realization that, “I can visualize – and use it in my job tomorrow!”
**This training is for you if...**
* you are still convinced that you are not at all talented and still would like to learn how to visualize
* you have not yet participated in a visual facilitation training with us
* you have a little experience with visualization so far and are looking for an easy way to improve your charts with graphics, symbols, simple figures, and good handwriting to make them more clear, attractive, and lively
In this one day training, we focus on the basics of drawing and imagery in visual language: no matter your level of talent or skill, you will take your first visual steps up at the wall and learn how to use small details to make large spaces look clear, attractive, and lively. You'll be working both individually and in small groups.l will take plenty of time to answer your questions and guide you into the world of visual language with hints and techniques suited to figure individual progress.
**Our areas of focus:**
* Learn to hold the pen, draw clean lines, and structure your space on the flip chart
* Create graphics and text containers/geometric shapes, objects and symbols
* Discover the easy ways the bikablo® method provides to draw people, roles, groups, and situations
* Use simple and fast options to color elements and spaces to support the graphic structure
* Combine all the ingredients - graphics, writing, symbols, figures, and color - to create visual, translations of content and meaningful posters for different purposes.
Many participants experience a renewed flow of creativity. By working with images and symbols in a new way, they discover a fresh, intuitive approach to expressing ideas. This is not only fun but also valuable—creativity fosters problem-solving, innovative thinking, and finding new perspectives in teamwork.
Bring a sketchbook or notebook and your favorite markers.
**Lunch:** PACK A LUNCH! We're in a bit of a food desert.
**Venue:** Suite 850, 1753 Pinnacle Drive, McLean, VA.

Vintage Cube at Your Hobby Place - Old Town Alexandria
**NEW UPDATE:** Additional members of the cubing community have reached out to me and we all agree, the more cubing the better! I have removed the 12 person limit and we are adding an overflow cube for those also interested in non vintage type cubes! For the foreseeable future this guest cube will be Alex's Enchantment Cube [Enchanted to Meet You](https://cubecobra.com/cube/list/enchantedCube)!
Priority will still fall to firing the vintage cube but what this means is if we reach 12 members we can offer the option to fire both cubes at 6 and 6 or just the vintage cube at 2 pods each. If we reach over 12 we will divide up the players between the two cubes with earlier RSVPs getting priority on their choice. If you have a cube that you are interested in having as a spill over cube please reach out to me and we can coordinate. Thank you!
Come join and casually draft a vintage cube that is open to everyone. No cost to enter! The store provides promo booster packs and I usually throw in a pack of the most recent standard set to award to the people with the best records at the end of the night. [What is Cube?](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rNDBTRG6keM)
What: Vintage Cube Draft
When: 6:00pm
Where: Your Hobby Place in Old Town Alexandria (Your Hobby Place, 700 N Washington St, Alexandria, VA 22314)
We aim to start drafting shortly after 6:00pm as the store's register closes at 9:00pm. The store owner is kind enough to keep the space open for us to finish rounds. In previous events we've usually wrapped up around 9:45. All skill levels are welcome and all cards, lands, tokens needed are provided so you only need to bring yourself and potentially some dice and playmat if you prefer.
The list can be seen here: [https://cubecobra.com/cube/list/proxybacon](https://cubecobra.com/cube/list/proxybacon)
Join Your Hobby Place's Discord and grab the Cube Role in the mtg-chat channel for the most up to date information on cube at their location: [https://discord.gg/9je3G8vzXh](https://discord.gg/9je3G8vzXh)
**Important Notice:**
I have seen an increased number of signups and no shows amongst brand new accounts. In an effort to make sure we have room for everyone if this is your first time joining and you have just created a meetup account please reach out to me via Meetup or discord.
**Late Policy:**
RSVPing will hold your spot for up to 10 minutes after 6. If you expect you may be running late please reach out to me via the store's discord. My username is iluvbacon610.

Maxwell Park Wine Bar, DC 🍷 Monday Mar 2 Blind Wine Tasting (#27)
Maxwell Park is 4 blocks from the Mt Vernon Sq/7th St-Convention Center.
🍷 RSVP Please:
--Thee are a limited amount of spots and if you are on the "going" list it means we are holding a space for you.
--**If your plans have changed, please edit your RSVP (even if you are on the waiting list),** so that someone else gets sufficient notice to attend in your place.
--We track our attendees list, and a late drop or no show might affect your participation at future events.
**Waitlisted Friends!** \*PLEASE\* keep an eye on this page and your messages, especially close to the day of the event. Thanks!
*Note start time of 6:15 PM!* Please plan to arrive on time.
🍷 What is blind wine tasting?
In a blind tasting you use your sense of smell, sight, and taste to try to deduce which variety(wine grape) is in your glass.
🍷 Do I need to be a wine professional?
Definitely not - this group is experience diverse and we welcome both wine newbies and wine pros (and everyone else in between).
🍷 How does this work?
--Please arrive slightly before 6:15pm to grab a seat.
--Maxwell Park will serve us two wine flights: 3 white wines around 6:20 pm and 3 red wines around 7:30 pm. Each flight is $20. Food and other wines are also available for purchase.
--We will discuss each flight as a group and try to reach somewhat of a consensus. Then comes the *big reveal* where we discover if our guesses were right.
Full vaccination is required, masks are optional. Unfortunately, while we will try to be as careful as possible, we cannot promise that this will be 100% Covid risk free, please keep that in mind when deciding whether or not to attend. Stay home if you are experiencing any symptoms of Covid 19. Please keep an eye on this event for possible changes.
Hope to see you there !
\~ Linda

Orchestrating AI Agents: A Live Parallel Coding Session
AI coding tools are no longer just smart autocomplete. They can act like background teammates working in parallel.
This working session will unfold in two parts. First, Lee will demonstrate how to orchestrate multiple AI agents simultaneously using GitHub Copilot. He will show how to isolate work across branches and coordinate independent tasks such as running tests, generating a UI, and building core logic using Git worktrees.
In the second half, attendees will experiment together by tackling Conway’s Game of Life using parallel agent workflows.
Rather than a polished demo, this will be a live coding experiment where participants are encouraged to use their own tools. You will see what works, what breaks, and what it really takes to manage concurrent AI workflows effectively in real world development.
NOTE: Ideally bring a laptop with a Copilot/Claude/Cursor/etc account
