We are returning to lead this popular trek to the “Roof of Africa.” For this journey, we will take the scenic 8-day Lemosho Route, making it a 10-day adventure filled with diverse terrain, breathtaking views, and the unforgettable experience of reaching the summit. Joanne will be leading this trek, and if you think you want to try trekking higher than 5000m, then this trip is worth a try with the support of our experienced trek leader! Not only is Mt Kilimanjaro the highest mountain in Africa, it is the highest freestanding mountain in the world. Standing at 5895m above sea level, Mt Kilimanjaro is also the highest mountain that can be climbed without technical equipment and climbing skills. For the most part, it takes just putting one foot in front of the other. Although this sounds simple, it is most likely the toughest challenge you will ever face.
