We will have open shop hours for anyone to bring their bikes to work on or need help fixing your own bike. We will also have bikes that need to be fixed so you can learn if you like. Every Friday night at 7:30pm you are welcome to attend the Covenant Life Church School of Holy Spirit. Whether you are just beginning in the prophetic or a seasoned saint, the Friday night School of the Holy Spirit provides the opportunity to be trained and exercised in the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. Back by popular demand (One person)! George's Hotpot and BBQ has separate dishes for reasonable prices. It's not all you can eat. You buy each dish and cook it in the BBQ or hot pot or both. Prices on average are about $6-10/dish. Two dishes are enough! They have wine and beer and soft drinks and tea. They also have a sauce bar similar to K-Pots. It's nice to be able to bring home what you can't eat and reheat it for dinner the following night. I thought the food was very tasty and they had good quality meat and seafood. **DC Service Jam is back.** This March, SD:DC is hosting the DC edition of Global Service Jam 2026 week. We are part of a worldwide movement of designers, strategists, and curious minds who come together to build real service concepts from scratch. From **Saturday March 14 to Sunday March 15**, you'll work in a small team around a secret theme revealed at kick-off. No briefs, no client. Just hands-on design, rapid prototyping, and plenty of Post-its. This year we're bringing AI into the mix. **Join a work party to organize the Velocity Bike Co-op warehouse from 9 a.m. to noon, usually on the first Saturday of each month--but on the second Saturday this time.** Mike Pattisall, Velocity's business manager, will guide volunteers in improving the space where we work.
