The Three Days: Easter Vigil
The Three Days: Easter Vigil
The Easter Vigil is the church’s oldest and most powerful Easter celebration—the night where we move from **darkness to light**, from **death to life**, and from **silence to joy**. We begin outside (weather permitting) with **new fire**, listen to the big story of God’s saving love through Scripture, renew baptismal promises, and finally sing the **first “Alleluia!”** of Easter. And when the service ends, the celebration keeps going: **stay for Easter Midnight Brunch**—a warm, festive (and very human) way to welcome Easter together. ### What to expect A longer service than usual (and worth it): candlelight, readings, music, prayer, and a joyful turn into Easter. You can participate fully, participate quietly, or simply observe—then come share food and conversation after. ### Tonight includes * **Service of Light** — **new fire** (a big fire in front of the church), the Paschal candle, and candlelit procession into the dark church * **The Great Story (Readings)** — a sweeping set of Scripture readings tracing God’s faithfulness (creation, deliverance, promise, hope) * **Baptismal Thanksgiving / Renewal of Baptism** — water, promises, and the reminder that Easter begins at the font * **First Alleluia** — the return of “Alleluia!” after Lent, and the proclamation of the resurrection * **Holy Communion** — bread and wine at Jesus’ table as Easter begins * **Easter Midnight Brunch** — good food and drink, treats, and a chance to celebrate and connect ### Explicit welcome **All people are welcome—no exceptions.** That includes ALL people, skeptics, seekers, exhausted Christians, first-timers, English speakers and non-native speakers, families with kids, and anyone who just needs a place where hope is practiced out loud. ### Good to know * This service is **candlelit**—kids are welcome (and wiggly is okay). * If we begin outside, dress for the weather. * You’re always free to step out for a breather. * Photos/recording: not during the service. If you’ve never experienced the Vigil, this is the night that makes Easter make sense—and brunch is the cherry on top.

Grab a Beer
Grab a Beer
Let´s meet at the entrance outside of the pub. In the heart of Berlin‑Mitte, tucked beneath the S‑Bahn arches at Hackescher Markt, the Kilkenny Irish Pub pulses like a little slice of Ireland transplanted into the city. Every night, the rooms fill with a mix of Berliners, travelers, football fans, and music lovers. Screens glow with Premier League matches, guitars ring out from the small stage, and the smell of Guinness and pub food drifts through three bustling, differently themed rooms—from Victorian brass to Celtic murals. As the crowd sings along to live bands (starting at 9.30ish) and the bartenders hustle to keep up, the pub becomes a lively crossroads where Irish warmth meets Berlin energy. This is their website: http://www.kilkenny-pub.de/home-english/

Curatorial Tour – Instinct#20
Curatorial Tour – Instinct#20
**Curatorial Tour – Instinct#20** for **LGBTQIA+** Free event **Group exhibition** During this **curatorial tour**, we will guide you through artworks that engage with conflict as a generative force and explore “Radical Empathy” as an active, transformative practice. Together, we will consider how empathy can be learned, challenged, and reimagined through queer artistic perspectives. The tour will examine how artists create spaces that embrace difference, resist dominant narratives, and invite us to remain open to discomfort, connection, and change. Moving beyond passive understanding, these works propose empathy as a relational encounter—one that has the potential to reshape how we live with and through conflict. **instinct #20** __ viewing 02.–12. Bringing these earlier initiatives into dialogue, instinct#20 Radical Empathy revisits their ideas, processes, and contexts, transforming them into a new curatorial framework that invites renewed interpretation.* 🔵 Während dieser **kuratorischen Führung** begleiten wir Sie durch Werke, die Konflikt als produktive Kraft begreifen und „Radikale Empathie“ als aktive, transformative Praxis erforschen.

Connected Westerville Night of Networking!
Connected Westerville Night of Networking!
**Connected Westerville Night of Networking** *April Edition: The Introduction Economy* You've been to the networking events. You've done the small talk. Collected the cards. Forgotten the names. And walked out feeling like you just wasted two hours of your life. The problem isn't you. It's the format. Most networking events put you in a room and tell you to figure it out. So everyone defaults to elevator pitches and business talk, and nothing real gets built. Here's the truth about networking that most people miss: Your network isn't just who you know. It's who thinks of you when they're talking to someone else. *That's* The Introduction Economy. And it only works when relationships are real. There's a reason people who come once keep coming back. It starts with seven minutes that feel nothing like networking. Then we open it up. Free networking. More conversations. More momentum. This is a room full of corporate professionals, entrepreneurs, business owners, creatives, and career builders in the Westerville and Columbus area. The mix is the magic. You might never do business with everyone you meet tonight. But someone in this room will think of *you.* **By name**. So, the next time someone needs exactly what you do, you get the recommendation. **April 14th. RSVP now.** **When:** Tuesday\, April 14th \| 6:15 PM \-\- 8:00 PM **Where:** Vineyard Community Center \| 6000 Cooper Rd\, Westerville\, OH 43081
In person peer-led support group for survivors of complex trauma
In person peer-led support group for survivors of complex trauma
**Complex Trauma Support Group** Our group is intended for survivors of complex trauma. If you are here, it’s likely that so much of who you are and what you have experienced in this life is actually invisible to most people––to family, society, coworkers, and the people who are around you. We are a peer-led group of survivors creating opportunities for ourselves and others to share our experiences, share support, and build relationships in kind community together. Survivor experiences might include: child sexual abuse, incest, child trafficking, and other experiences of people living with traumatic dissociation and complex PTSD. **What to expect at your first meeting:** Currently, we are offering a bi-monthly in person group at 2:00pm on the first and third Sunday of the month. The only criterion for joining the group is that you are a survivor of trauma wishing to have more kindness in your own life and share kindness with others, and that you agree to practice to group’s relational agreements available for view here: https://www.kindgroups.com/agreements. Joining the group is free of charge. We ask that new people connect with us for 30 minutes on the phone or on zoom before coming to their first group, so that we can determine together that we are a good fit. Our meetings last approximately 90 minutes. Participants are never required to share. You’re also welcome to choose a pseudonym and you will never be asked for private information. You are welcome to leave at any time. The kindness that survivors can share when among others who have survived similar childhood experiences is something we rarely get to experience. Time spent with others who understand even a little bit more about us is a relief. Our hope is to help ourselves and others experience that we are not alone. We wish for our efforts to be a cause of kindness in our own lives and the lives of each other. You can read more about the groups at www.kindgroups.com.
