Wednesday of Holy Week - Worship in English with Holy Communion
Wednesday of Holy Week - Worship in English with Holy Communion
Holy Wednesday (sometimes called *Spy Wednesday*) is the night the story turns. We remember the betrayal—how trust frays, how fear takes over, how Jesus is handed over by someone close. It’s a service for anyone who knows what it feels like when love gets complicated, when loyalty breaks, when the world goes quiet before the storm. This is **old-school worship**—Scripture, hymns, prayer, and silence. No hype. No pressure. Just an honest place to sit with the story as Holy Week deepens. ### What to expect A contemplative service centered on the **betrayal narrative**—Judas, the growing darkness, and Jesus’ steady love in the face of it. You don’t need church experience. You won’t be singled out. You can participate fully, participate quietly, or simply listen. ### Tonight includes * **Scripture & reflection** — the betrayal story and the tension building toward the arrest * **Holy Communion** — bread and wine at Jesus’ table in the thick of Holy Week * **Prayers for the wounded world** — for those who have been harmed, those who have harmed, and everyone caught in the middle * **Silence** — room to breathe, grieve, and tell the truth (even if only to yourself) * **A simple ending** — we leave without fanfare, letting the story carry us toward Maundy Thursday and Good Friday ### Explicit welcome **All people are welcome—no exceptions.** That includes ALL people, skeptics, seekers, the burned-out, longtime church people, first-timers, English speakers and non-native speakers, families with kids, and anyone who comes carrying disappointment, regret, or questions. ### Good to know * Dress however you like. * This service can feel emotionally intense; stepping out for a moment is always okay. * Photos/recording: not during the service. Come as you are. Sit with the shadows. And let the story tell the truth—without leaving you alone in it.

🌈✹ A Space to Be Fully Yourself Without Masking ✹🌈 For many neurodivergent queer women, everyday life can be deeply isolating. The constant effort to mask. The feeling of being too much or not enough. The sense that no one really sees your individual struggles. It’s exhausting. This space exists to break that isolation. It’s a safe place where neurodivergent queer women can show up exactly as they are. No masking. No explaining. Just real connection with others who understand what it’s like to navigate the world differently. It’s that time again Our monthly meetup is here and it’s your chance to connect, recharge and feel seen. 💬💞 You’ll mix and mingle with others through fun conversations, little mindfulness excersises and shared conversations about both the struggles and the superpowers that come with being neurodivergent. 🌟 Spots are limited and demand is often high. To help make sure that people actually show up and don’t take a spot from someone else, we’re asking for a small entry fee. 💌 If you’re not in a position to pay right now, just reach out. We’ll make sure you can still join. We’re looking forward to seeing you Just as you are

The Three Days: Easter Vigil
The Three Days: Easter Vigil
The Easter Vigil is the church’s oldest and most powerful Easter celebration—the night where we move from **darkness to light**, from **death to life**, and from **silence to joy**. We begin outside (weather permitting) with **new fire**, listen to the big story of God’s saving love through Scripture, renew baptismal promises, and finally sing the **first “Alleluia!”** of Easter. And when the service ends, the celebration keeps going: **stay for Easter Midnight Brunch**—a warm, festive (and very human) way to welcome Easter together. ### What to expect A longer service than usual (and worth it): candlelight, readings, music, prayer, and a joyful turn into Easter. You can participate fully, participate quietly, or simply observe—then come share food and conversation after. ### Tonight includes * **Service of Light** — **new fire** (a big fire in front of the church), the Paschal candle, and candlelit procession into the dark church * **The Great Story (Readings)** — a sweeping set of Scripture readings tracing God’s faithfulness (creation, deliverance, promise, hope) * **Baptismal Thanksgiving / Renewal of Baptism** — water, promises, and the reminder that Easter begins at the font * **First Alleluia** — the return of “Alleluia!” after Lent, and the proclamation of the resurrection * **Holy Communion** — bread and wine at Jesus’ table as Easter begins * **Easter Midnight Brunch** — good food and drink, treats, and a chance to celebrate and connect ### Explicit welcome **All people are welcome—no exceptions.** That includes ALL people, skeptics, seekers, exhausted Christians, first-timers, English speakers and non-native speakers, families with kids, and anyone who just needs a place where hope is practiced out loud. ### Good to know * This service is **candlelit**—kids are welcome (and wiggly is okay). * If we begin outside, dress for the weather. * You’re always free to step out for a breather. * Photos/recording: not during the service. If you’ve never experienced the Vigil, this is the night that makes Easter make sense—and brunch is the cherry on top.

instinct #20 Vernissage
instinct #20 Vernissage
**Instinct #20 Vernissage** for **LGBTQIA+** Free event Radical Empathy \*Queere Perspectives on Conflict, Resilience & Connectiont marks instinct #20 and brings together queer artists and collectives to explore how we live conflict differently—through practices of care, resilience, and connection. Conflict is part of our lives. How can we live conflicts differently? Radical Empathy begins with the understanding that empathy is not soft, neutral, or given. It is learned, practiced, and risked. The exhibition explores queer artistic practices as sites of radical empathy—understood not as passive emotional identification but as a relational and transformative engagement with difference. Drawing from queer history, progressive ethics of care, and contemporary art practices, the exhibition examines how queer art creates conditions for empathy that resist assimilation, challenge heteronormative perspectives, and center lived experience as a vital form of knowledge. Queer artists and collectives frequently work from positions of historical exclusion, using art as a means of survival, connection, and world-building. In this context, Radical Empathy moves beyond the notion of simply “feeling for” another; it emphasizes a willingness to remain open to discomfort, to difference, and the possibility of being transformed through encounter. instinct #20 __ viewing 02.–12. Bringing these earlier initiatives into dialogue, instinct#20 Radical Empathy revisits their ideas, processes, and contexts, transforming them into a new curatorial framework that invites renewed interpretation. Connected Westerville Night of Networking!
Connected Westerville Night of Networking!
**Connected Westerville Night of Networking** *April Edition: The Introduction Economy* You've been to the networking events. You've done the small talk. Collected the cards. Forgotten the names. And walked out feeling like you just wasted two hours of your life. The problem isn't you. It's the format. Most networking events put you in a room and tell you to figure it out. So everyone defaults to elevator pitches and business talk, and nothing real gets built. Here's the truth about networking that most people miss: Your network isn't just who you know. It's who thinks of you when they're talking to someone else. *That's* The Introduction Economy. And it only works when relationships are real. There's a reason people who come once keep coming back. It starts with seven minutes that feel nothing like networking. Then we open it up. Free networking. More conversations. More momentum. This is a room full of corporate professionals, entrepreneurs, business owners, creatives, and career builders in the Westerville and Columbus area. The mix is the magic. You might never do business with everyone you meet tonight. But someone in this room will think of *you.* **By name**. So, the next time someone needs exactly what you do, you get the recommendation. **April 14th.
