Fake news, generated AI and the future of ârealityâ
**Truth, Trust, Technology, and a World You Canât Quite Verify**
Weâre entering a time where seeing is no longer believing. AI can generate voices, faces, videos, articlesâand entire narrativesâalmost indistinguishable from reality. When everything can be fabricated perfectly, what happens to truth, trust, and our shared sense of whatâs real?
This isnât a media literacy workshop or a tech lecture. Itâs a philosophical conversation about reality itself in an age of artificial generation.
***
**Topics weâll touch on:**
* When AI can fake anything, does âtruthâ still exist in a meaningful way?
* Deepfakes, synthetic news, and the erosion of shared facts
* Is reality becoming personalizedâdifferent for each of us?
* Who decides what is real: humans, algorithms, platforms, or states?
* Can democracy survive without a common understanding of truth?
* Are we heading toward radical skepticismâor digital authoritarianism?
* And finally⊠how do we live well when certainty itself starts to dissolve?
Casual discussion. No technical background needed. Just curiosity, openness, and a willingness to question what you think you know. Whether you feel worried, intrigued, or strangely detached from it allâyouâre not alone.
Letâs question the images, the storiesâand maybe even our own assumptions about reality.

The meetup lasts 2 full hours with optional overtime
Before starting, you can find our table and leave your things so Lou can grab a drink at the café.
Once we are all seated, we introduce ourselves and start cutting and pasting.â©
âą 1s hour- the first round of collage is called freestyle to help us warm up. No restrictions, start finding images to cut out and paste.â©
âą 2nd hour - for the second round, someone proposes some simple "trigger instructions".â©In the end, we show our collages and appreciate the diversity of styles.â©
âą After the session, we have the option to extend it a bit to get a drink or some food we can bring or order food so we can hang out a bit more. (Mellemrummet is very relaxing regarding bringing your own food from home or other venues; there is a poke place right in front.)
Everyone is free to do fewer or more collages as wished, the triggers and frameworks are only a reference. We dedicate some time to appreciating techniques, shapes, colours, and textures to learn and get inspired by each other. Alongside, we chat and relax.â©These sessions are not a class but rather a community gathering. We try to nurture a friendly atmosphere and take care of each other.
--â©Logistics:â©âą Bring your tools - paper, scrapbook, scissors, cutter, glue, tape, magazines, books, etc. Have it at your side on the day.â©âą Buy your favourite drink and introduce yourself to the rest of the people, we are kind of an international mix of all ages.â©--

Follow up - come with a business idea

You need to come with a business idea for this meetup.
Not everyone is looking for a partner or two, but some are (including me).
Copenhagen Swift & Cocoa - Hangout #4
Come hang out with fellow Apple platform developers and enthusiasts for an informal evening of tech talk, coffee, and good company.
No agenda, no slides â just a relaxed get-together at a Copenhagen cafĂ© where we geek out about Swift, iOS, visionOS, and whatever else is keeping us busy lately. Whether you're deep in SwiftUI architecture, experimenting with spatial computing, or just curious about what's happening in the Apple ecosystem, you're welcome here.
Bring your questions, your opinions, and ideally a laptop if you want to show something off.
See you there.
Knitting class for beginners starts again in September 2024
Knitting courses from basic skills to advanced techniques.
Classes are held in groups (up to 10 people). One lesson lasts 90 minutes.
As a knitting teacher, I have 10 years of experience. Individual approach to students makes this course interesting for both beginners and experienced knitters.
Get together and write
We're a group of writers that meets up every Sunday for a productive writing session.
**Here's how the meetup works:**
* We gather together, grab some fika, and then we write for an hour.
* After the hour is up, we spend some time chatting, sharing ideas and thoughts on writing, and discussing the challenges we've come across.
The goal is to **commit to working on your writing project for a set amount of time, all while** **connecting with other writers** and being motivated by the energy of creative minds working hard on their individual projects.
You'll have the chance to share your work and receive valuable feedback (if you so wish) or simply enjoy the company of like-minded individuals.
--
We're here, **same place, same time, every week.** So if you're feeling up to it, drop by and let's get writing!
Philosophy Reading
We are reading the Philosopher together, the one with a capital P, Aristotle himself. We go slowly through the Nicomachean Ethics and comment, interpret and discuss what we read. That is the simple plan, and it is likely to be enjoyable!

Drawing from the rich spiritual insights of **Matthew Fox** and the timeless theological wisdom of **Thomas Aquinas**, this workshop invites participants into a deeper experience of spirituality rooted in compassion, creativity, and divine presence.
