The meetings over the last several months have been transformative for me. I have friends now that understand what I am going through and there is no need to explain my vocabulary. There is someone that is or has gone through the same thing as me. I am not isolating as much and feel resourced to show up in my life to a degree I haven't felt in along time. If you are new to support group meetings I will give you a 2 minute narrative of what to expect. We meet on zoom with or without a camera on. It is suggested to have your camera on. There is a meeting leader and secretary that run the meeting. The leader reads an intro and then shares on PA or a related topic for 3-5 minutes. After that there is a quick secretary report and then the meetings is opened for all to share. Some folks share, some folks just listen, there is no wrong or right way. These are closed (alienated folks only) meeting for parents, step parents, grand parents, uncles, aunts and any other family or friends struggling with any form of alienation. **The Data-Driven Brand: Using Analytics to Shape Perception** Can you use analytics to improve tacos? This being CBUSDAW, we think the answer is probably “yes”, but we’re not sure how to implement or test this theory. For our April meetup we’ve got Sara Kear, CMO of Condado Tacos, to investigate this delicious question. Sara will explore how she blends quantitative data and qualitative customer feedback to shape brand positioning and drive business decisions. We all know that marketing and analytics go way beyond attribution. Sara will show how Condado uses customer insights to inform product and pricing strategy. She’ll also highlight how Condado leverages customer feedback at scale to influence operational priorities, positioning marketing as the voice of the customer across the organization. **Complex Trauma Support Group** Our group is intended for survivors of complex trauma. If you are here, it’s likely that so much of who you are and what you have experienced in this life is actually invisible to most people––to family, society, coworkers, and the people who are around you. We are a peer-led group of survivors creating opportunities for ourselves and others to share our experiences, share support, and build relationships in kind community together. Survivor experiences might include: child sexual abuse, incest, child trafficking, and other experiences of people living with traumatic dissociation and complex PTSD. **What to expect at your first meeting:** Currently, we are offering a bi-monthly in person group at 2:00pm on the first and third Sunday of the month. The only criterion for joining the group is that you are a survivor of trauma wishing to have more kindness in your own life and share kindness with others, and that you agree to practice to group’s relational agreements available for view here: https://www.kindgroups.com/agreements. Joining the group is free of charge. We ask that new people connect with us for 30 minutes on the phone or on zoom before coming to their first group, so that we can determine together that we are a good fit.
