Make Friends, Not Small Talk: Deep talks, Coffee, and Good Vibes✨
🇪🇸Español Abajo 👇
**☕️ Coffee Talk: Where Conversations Are Stronger Than the Coffee ☕️**
Had enough of awkward small talk and silent social gatherings? This is your chance to break free. Join us for a night of meaningful conversations about life, dreams, existential crises, and why we keep procrastinating our goals.
**🔹 What to expect?**
✔️ Thought-provoking questions (but not too deep, we promise).
✔️ Interesting people with zero interest in discussing traffic.
✔️ Interactive dynamics that push you out of your comfort zone—without feeling like a job interview.
If you're ready for an evening of deep conversations, great coffee, and a dash of sarcastic humor, save your spot before you regret it (again).
📍 **Where?** Diletto – Perón 4217 (because coffee without great conversations is just wasted caffeine).
💰 **How much?** $5,000 ARS / $5 USD (yes, genuine connections have a price, but they’re worth every cent).

Cultural Crossroads in the Park
Join us every other Sunday at Plaza Inmigrantes de Armenia in Palermo Soho for Cultural Crossroads in the Park, a fun and inclusive meetup led by Dr. Zachary McKinley, a cultural researcher from the USA.
Kicking off at 3:00 pm with 30 minutes of casual networking, this gathering invites you to grab a coffee or mate beforehand and connect with fellow participants. At 3:30, Dr. McKinley will guide a 1.5-hour collaborative group discussion exploring cultural dimensions and their profound influence on thoughts, behaviors, perceptions, and communication styles across borders.
Whether you're a local, an expat, or just curious about the richness of cultural diversity, this event is your opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations and broaden your understanding of the world. All are welcome; however, **the conversation will be entirely in English**, as the host does not speak fluent Spanish.
Note: To stay safe and hydrated, please bring bug spray, sunscreen/hat, and something to drink (such as mate/coffee/tea/etc.). A blanket to sit on is recommended but not required.

(and create meaningful connections)
To help you get started, I curated a little game of **[ridiculously good questions](https://www.pierrebonvalot.com/theblog?p=285a9711d7df80d5ac25dd4ef8fe5394&pm=c)** you can ask to break the ice, shift the conversation from dull to intriguing and fun, and eventually create meaningful connection quickly.
I hope this helps!
**The only things you need to do are…**
• Leave a message in the comment section to let the others know that you will actually be there (I don’t want you to end up alone there :)
• If you can’t make it anymore, no problem! But please update your RSVP to let the others know

**Why join?**

1. Arrive at the meeting spot at the scheduled time.
2. Look for other joiners—friendly faces and curious explorers.
3. Introduce yourself, connect with others, and decide as a group where to go.
**When & where?**
* Day: every Sunday
* Time: 4:00 PM (meetup sometimes displays a different time zone: but it’s always 4pm local time)
* Location: in Plaza Italia (in Palermo), in front of the statue of Giuseppe Garibaldi.
**Hostless**: I am setting up the event for you all to meet, but I won't be there myself this time :)
**Hi my names is Pierre**
I created this Meetup group because I want to see more human connection happen in the real world. I feel many of us want this, but don't exactly know how to go about it. I hope this helps a little bit.
I also work as a transformational coach: I help people who feel stuck in their life to reconnect with themselves, create real change and ultimately live more fulfilling lives.

Join us on Sunday for an hour of uninterrupted wordmaking!
• What we'll do
Join us for an hour of writing! We’ve discovered that it’s strikingly helpful to write with other writers. See if it’s true for you at noon on Sundays.
Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, resume, melody, poem or just plain work stuff, you are invited to write it with us. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done.
SCHEDULE:
12:00 - quick intros.
12:10 - timer starts: write for 1 hour.
1:10 - chat / take off / keep writing.
OPTIONAL SOCIALIZING happens at 1-1:30ish. Writing is very solitary. Connecting (and sometimes even commiserating) with other writers is a cool thing.
BEING LATE IS OKAY: just show up and get settled, then check-in with me after the session. If you were on time, please be willing to make room for the friendly latecomer.
Happy writing and I look forward to seeing you!
• What to bring
Whatever you need to be able to write!
Bring earbuds/earplugs if you want to block noise or the occasional conversation by other patrons. Electrical outlets are limited, so charge your devices before whenever possible.
See you at The Café on Sunday!
