We will explore the museum together, discover inspiring exhibitions, and enjoy a relaxed and international atmosphere.

Metalheads Gathering - Metal Together
Join us, metalheads of Zurich and its surrounding areas, in our regular Wednesday meetup for some afterwork drinks, chaotic socializing and listening to heavy music!
**Where?**
The meetup will be held at ***[Ebrietas Bar](https://ebrietas.ch/)*** \- a metal & rock bar located in Zurich's oldtown and boasting a selection of whiskeys\, rum & spirits\, in addition to countless shot creations and over 21 different types of beer\.
**When?**
The gathering will officially begin at \~7:00pm and normally goes until midnight. However, members often arrive slightly earlier and might stay until the following day! You are welcome to join at any point and leave whenever you please.
**Attendance:**
Attendance can vary, but the number of people at the gatherings is normally somewhere between 20 and 40 metalheads! The group is comprised by a balanced mixture of longstanding members, semi-regulars and curious visitors.
**Chats:**
Get invited to our chat-groups by introducing yourself at one of the meetups! We currently offer an "official" chat for announcements, updates on events & organizing concerts, a "fun" chat for casual discussions & informal events, and a meme chat for silly discussions and somewhat thematic memes. You can join neither, some or all!
**FAQ:**
"*How can I find the group?*"
We normally reserve one of the larger tables at the bar and decorate it with a large black flag. If you still have trouble finding the group, feel free to approach the bartenders and they will point you our way.
"What happens if I arrive late?"
Nothing really. We will give you a warm welcome and introduce you to the others, no matter at which time you arrive 🙂
"*What can I expect from these meetups?*"
Think of a common "after-work meet & drink", but in a themed bar, with lots of band-shirts and metal music playing in the background. Guests normally show up, grab a drink and join a clique for a conversation.
"*Do I need to be a hardcore metal fan for this meetup?*"
Not really. The theme of this meetup is indeed metal music and most members do have a liking for it, but plenty others are more casual listeners or more into rock/punk/goth. We welcome all!

[External Sign-up] ZUG - Cleanup Zugersee (Tag der guten Tat)
🌳Join us in combating waste along the banks of the Lake Zug! On the Day of Good Deeds, we will walk along the beautiful lage of Zug, collect discarded litter and dispose of it properly.
Registration required at this link: https://events.wwf.ch/de/tag-der-guten-tat-clean-up-in-zug-4a6vVj1biH/overview
Most people do not realise that the Zugersee is sadly not exempt from waste. This waste has a considerable impact on nature and the environment. Due to wind, high water, and other variables, these pollutants end up in waterways and can be transported all the way to the ocean. Plastic and other waste are not only an aesthetic problem, but a concrete danger for plants, animals, and people.
📍Meeting Point
Train stop Chollermulli, Zug. Meeting point by the public bike parking area on the side of Chamerstrasse.

Feel, Trust, Let Go 🦶🤝🍃
Wer baden will, badet. Wer weiter erzählen will, erzählt weiter. Wer Musik machen will, macht Musik. Picknick auf der Wiese, jeder bringt was mit.
Du musst nichts können. Du entscheidest, wie weit du dich öffnest. Wenn dir eine Übung zu viel ist, machst du sie nicht.
Kosten: Kostenlos / Spende
Gruppe: max 15
Mitbringen: Picknick zum Teilen, Badesachen, Tuch, Decke zum Sitzen, Wasser. Wenn du magst: ein Instrument.
Bis Bald 🫶

🌿 Feel, trust, let go
There are these moments where you realise: I haven't felt the ground all day. Not gravel, not grass, not water. Not really my body either.
This afternoon is the opposite of that.
We walk barefoot along a path where the ground keeps changing – gravel, grass, water, wood. A Kneipp trail as the thread running through it. In between, we stop and work with each other: handing your weight to someone, letting yourself be carried, being guided with closed eyes. Things that sound simple in the head and suddenly become real in the body.
Then we sit in a circle. One round, about an hour, each person shares what came up.
And then the day stays open. Whoever wants to swim, swims. Whoever wants to keep talking, keeps talking. Whoever wants to make music, makes music. Picnic on the meadow, everyone brings something.
You don't need to know anything. You decide how far you open up. If something feels too much, you skip it.
Cost: Free / Donation
Group: max 15
Bring: picnic to share, swimwear, towel, blanket to sit on, water. If you like: an instrument.
See you soon🫶

**FAQs**
**Our Community Backyards workshops are FREE and a great way to participate in the rebate program. Our workshops are typically 1 to 1 and a half hours long and held in-person. Our workshops cover the same content as the online course, but they are more detailed and allow the chance to ask questions and have discussions with the presenters and other residents. We occassionally have "advanced topics" classes where you dive deeper into one topic of Community Backyards such as invasive vs. native plants or rain gardens.**
**Registration is encouraged but not required.** You can register in advance to receive your voucher at the workshop. If you don't register in advance, that's okay - you can still show up (unless otherwise noted - which is very rare) and sign up for a voucher at the class, and we will send you one via email or mail within a few business days after the workshop.
**"Do I have to be a resident of that community to attend that workshop?"** Nope! Our workshops are open to everyone (unless otherwise noted - which is extremely rare). You can attend a workshop that best suits your schedule even if it is in a different community than your own.

May Book Club Meetup
Welcome, readers!
Our May read is **_Kindred_ by Octavia E. Butler.**
The story follows Dana, a Black woman living in 1976 California, who is suddenly pulled back to a Maryland plantation before the Civil War. She learns her survival is tied to a white slaveholder’s son. Forced to move between centuries, she must endure the brutal realities of slavery while fighting to hold on to her identity. Tense, intimate, and unforgettable, Kindred explores how the past refuses to stay buried.
Looking forward to discussing with everyone!
We will meet at Zaftig Brewing Co in their event room in the back. We are welcome to bring in our own food, but **drinks must be purchased at the bar.**
Happy reading! 📖

Powell Gold Star Referral Club Meetup
We meet at lunch each week and each meeting follows a fairly organized agenda. First all participants pass their business cards around. Then each member and guest is invited to give a one-minute overview of their company and what is a perfect referral for the week. We always have a 10 minute presentation from one of the members about their business in more detail. And finally we pass referrals. You're welcome to visit. Nobody is ever put on the spot. Bring plenty of cards!
