This meetup emerged from Tim, one of the organizers, who had several disappointing experiences at in-person mixer events. Determined to make a difference, he, along with another community builder Adeline, decided to launch "How We Met." After receiving several DMs, we concluded that since this is our inaugural gathering, we should open the event to everyone and foster an inclusive community while sharing our story with you. **What’s different?** There won’t be a prize at the end, and instead of enforcing a strict 1:1 ratio, we’re turning this into a networking/mixer event. As a new yoga teacher (200 YTT certified), I’m excited to share the practice of stretching and Hatha Yoga with others, guiding you through mindful breath and purposeful movement. We’ll explore foundational poses, gentle alignment, and slow, steady stretches that honor your body's limits while inviting greater flexibility and balance. My intention is to create a supportive space where we practice together, learn from each other, and cultivate calm, focus, and presence both on and off the mat.
