Alternatively, submit a video of yourself in a game situation at https://www.littlegiantsvc.com/games-player-application and ask to be assessed. Club has the right to refuse entry without a refund if protocol has not been followed. Intermediate players can improve their level through regular training and get invited to move to advance sessions. If this is your first time playing with the Giants, we recommend you attend a coaching session first to learn the rules. Please note that our Open Sessions take place in different locations throughout London. Please view: https://www.littlegiantsvc.com/locations for more information. In addition, for all indoor sessions, there are no bicycles allowed in the building including the folding ones. There are locking racks outside the building. Lesbian BSL Club
Lesbian BSL Club
A lot of women have said they want a space where they can actually meet and communicate properly, so this is a simple BSL social. It’s a group of women meeting at the bar, practising British Sign Language, chatting properly, and spending a couple of hours together. Most women come on their own. That’s completely normal here and we make sure you don’t feel awkward walking in. Women usually range from their 20s through to their 60s. It’s normally a mix of new and returning women, so you won’t be the only new person there. If you’re feeling nervous, that’s very common. You can message beforehand or on the day and we can help you settle in. [www.thelcommunity.com/bsl-club/](www.thelcommunity.com/bsl-club/) **Where to find us** BFI Bar Location instructions: When you come upstairs into the BFI Bar area, turn right facing the main bar. We sit on the right-hand side near the brighter seating area at the windows so everyone can see each other properly when signing and chatting. After 5pm we move over to the sofas and stay there afterwards. If you can’t find the group, message and someone can come meet you. **What to expect** Some women already know some BSL, others are completely new. The setup makes it easy to actually practise and communicate rather than just sit and watch. You can go at your own pace and join in as much or as little as you want. The group gradually builds signs over time, so regular attendance helps. New women are welcome while the group is still forming, but sessions will eventually build on previous signs rather than restarting from the beginning each time. **Important** This is a female-only lesbian space. That boundary is clear and upheld at events. **How to attend** You must register in advance to attend [www.thelcommunity.com/bsl-club/](www.thelcommunity.com/bsl-club/) One quick note on how the community works L Community is member-funded. The standard contribution is £13 per month and covers the platform, events, moderation, and safeguarding. If £13 isn’t workable right now, you can opt out. Most people just come to a few things first and decide later. Support can be changed or cancelled at any time [www.thelcommunity.com/back-us-now](www.thelcommunity.com/back-us-now) **Arriving and support** If you’re nervous or can’t find us, Message and we can come and meet you WhatsApp Jenny +44 7591 386019 **Staying connected** To stay up to date, access WhatsApp groups, and see who’s going to events: [www.thelcommunity.com/go](www.thelcommunity.com/go)
