If so, we’d love to have you join our Italian workshop and language café! :) **Level:** From A1+ (including natives) This event is not for complete beginners but for beginners+, intermediate, and advanced speakers since we’ll be focusing on having conversations in Italian. This is an invitation for anyone who could use a listening ear, whether you are going through a difficult time, in transition, or simply looking for connection. This support circle welcomes you as you are, without judgement. The idea is simple, we meet, sit in a circle, and share how we are doing. We speak without interruption, listen without fixing, and allow ourselves to feel a little less alone on this journey. No therapy - just presence and connection. Dale Gnidovec, Curator of the Orton Hall Museum of Geology at The Ohio State University, will be presenting a program he has wanted to share with us for a long time: Plate Tectonics. His description of his program: Continents on the move - Nothing in Earth history makes sense without moving continents - it tells us why mountains, volcanoes, minerals, and fossils are where they are. This talk examines the evidence for continental drift, why it was disbelieved, and explains how the more-encompassing theory of plate tectonics was developed and eventually proven. Dale is an energetic, incredibly knowledgeable, and very entertaining speaker and this will be another wonderful program by Dale. Hope to see you there! Food and drinks will be provided at the event. Hey Everyone! Let's meet at Belle's Bread Bakery and Cafe. There is lots of free parking and easy access to the cafe and many shops and restaurants as well. This is a great way to meet new and old friends while chatting about life and practicing English language speaking skills. All are welcome and encouraged to join us anytime between 11am and 1pm. While some are still meeting online, this is an in person event. Please note that we have attendees of all levels of speaking, including some native speakers. All are welcome!
