A munkák központi technikai eleme a viasz visszakaparása, amely nem pusztán formai megoldás, hanem az emlékezés vizuális metaforája. A beviaszolt felület feltárása az (újra)emlékezés gesztusaként jelenik meg. A kép nem egyszerre tárul fel, hanem hiányokon, torzulásokon és elmosódásokon keresztül válik láthatóvá. Az alkotás folyamata így párhuzamba kerül az emlékek felidézésének bizonytalan, gyakran töredékes természetével.
