(Is this a Boot Camp 😀😍??)This is an easy social hike 🐿🐐🐏 in Glendalough but you still need some hiking fitness and be able to walk on rocky paths with a hiking boots. At 10.30 am we go ahead to board our bus. We will take the 11.00am express Bus to Glendalough. Be early🙂. The hike starts at about 12.15pm from Glendalough MAIN visitor's center at the bus stop and bus pickup point back to Dublin at 17.30pm. Please be on early and on time for those who are meeting us in Glendalough. This hike is not always on a track🏔, so HIKING BOOTS with Vibram Sole and ankle support highly recommended as some tracks are also very rocky and muddy. No JEANS for this hike ,No Running shoes please. Dogs 🐕🦮🐕‍🦺 welcome, But need to check with bus company if not driving by car there. Bring waterproof warm winter clothing, food, snacks and water or drinks as we will stop for breaks. You Need some level of fitness and some hiking experience but this is not a hard hike. This is a sporting event, so every person attending this hike is responsible for their own health and saftey at all times.

**Hands in the Soil: Community Growing, Learning & Craic** This first gathering will be a relaxed mix of **hands-on garden work, shared learning, and good conversation**. It’s about getting together in a real space, doing something practical, and seeing what ideas and connections might grow from there. On the day, we’ll: * Get our **hands dirty** with some light garden work and soil prep * Do some **seed sowing** and talk about what grows well locally * **Make kombucha together** and chat about fermentation, food, and simple home practices * Share knowledge, questions, and experiences around growing food * Enjoy some **fellowship, chats, and a bit of craic** along the way.Alongside the practical side, we’ll also have an open, informal discussion about a bigger idea: * The possibility of **small community “park farms” or gardens** in underused green spaces around Dublin * What that might look like, what’s realistic, and whether others feel drawn to exploring it further There’s no pressure, no expertise required, and no expectation beyond showing up with curiosity and a willingness to pitch in. Hi All, this is a on lead walk with dogs of all ages and experience welcome. Many who attend are recently rescued and learning. Join me for a sea swim at Seapoint for 11am, I am not a lifeguard so take care to know your limits in cold water, especially at this time of year. Bring your warm clothes, warm drink and your warm company. see you all there, beside the tower.

Come join me in cleaning up litter at Dillon's Park in Dalkey. I will supply a cart, bags/buckets, litter grabbers, and occasionally a dog (for morale). Feel free to bring your own equipment if you have it. Here's the plan: 1. Meet at the park entrance 2. Collect litter around the park. 3. Circle back to the starting point when finished. Note that we will walk in wet grass/mud on occasion and will be handling litter, so best to wear appropriate clothes, footwear and gloves. Please check weather before attending to ensure you're dressed for it. Feel free to drop in or out at whatever time suits you. I'm typically out for an hour or two or until the area I'm focused on has been cleaned. Feel free to message me with any questions.

We will be meeting at Portmarnock Dart Station for 11:40AM. How to get there, H2, DART or 102 Bus. We will be starting from Portmarnock Train Station, walking the coast of Portmarnock to Malahide and turning near the end into Malahide Castle. We will be walking around Malahide and Portmarnock Beach, Talbot Botanic Gardens, Malahide Heritage Gardens, Malahide Castle and the Southern Cross Monument. Walk Duration is around 2 in a half hours (10.5 Kilometres) There is a lot of coffee shops nearby for those who want to get some food or coffee. We will be finishing in Malahide, not looping back to Portmarnock. Every event is 5 Euros but if you come two days in a row, you get the second event free. See you on Sunday.

Lots of people bring plenty of games and rules will always be explained so don't worry if you're new to the hobby and you don't have anything to bring along or think you won't know how to play.
