Lunchtime Mental Health Walks - Schöneberg, Wilmersdorf
Lunchtime Mental Health Walks - Schöneberg, Wilmersdorf
Berlin is dark. Especially in winter. That's why it's important to catch those rays of sun, while they are still there. At lunch time the sun is the strongest. While walking together we can enjoy a nice conversation, get those steps in, increase our serotonin production as well as sync the circadian rhythm. It's also a lovely break from work. I would like to invite you to our mental health walk event. Agenda: 12:10 We meet at Schöneberg Park next to the fountain with the golden deer statue ("Der goldene Hirsch"). 12:15 We walk to Volkspark Wilmersdorf 12:45 We arrive back in Schöneberg Park, at the golden deer statue. We walk at every weather, so make sure to dress properly! Looking forward to meeting you at our lunchtime walk. Marija

Transfem* Embodied Practices
Transfem* Embodied Practices
đŸ”” **Transfem\* Embodied Practices** with Lux for **Queer Femmes\*** **[Free event with Registration](https://wearevillage.org/en/shop/transfem-embodied-practices/w06-2026)** A 2.5-hour monthly space for **transfeminine people across all femme spectrums** (trans women, transvestites, hormonal faggots, butch femmes, gender-nonconforming, and those identifying within the broader transfeminine experience). The space welcomes those on HRT and those not pursuing medical transition, recognising embodiment as both physical and political. The intention of this space is to support building confidence in our physicality as femmes, nurture bodily autonomy, and develop touch literacy within a supportive community. The practice is intended as an exercise for femmes’ resilience against societal violence and exclusion, rewriting those narratives with empowerment, presence, and joy. The journey flows from individual body awareness (somatic practices and touch) to communal movement (dance and spatial exercises) and ends with free movement and integration, all centered around consent, autonomy, and care. **General information** To engage fully in the experience, participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothes. **Participants**: This workshop is for all transfeminine people across all femme spectrums: trans women, transvestites, hormonal faggots, butch femmes, gender-nonconforming, and those identifying within the broader transfeminine experience. **Registration**: This event has limited spots available. Registration through our website is therefore required. **Language**: This event will be held in English and German. **Cost**: The event is free of charge.

The school was founded in the middle of the 15th century by Iizasa Chƍisai Ienao at the Katori Shrine (Katori jingĆ«) and has become the origin of numerous other martial arts schools over the course of its almost 600-year history. The training consists of the continuous repetition of fixed sequences of movements (kata) and includes the use of classic Japanese weapons such as the sword (iai-jutsu, battƍ-jutsu, ken-jutsu, ryƍtƍ-jutsu, kodachi-jutsu), the long staff (bƍ-jutsu), the lance (naginata-jutsu) and the spear (sƍ-jutsu), as well as unarmed disciplines, tactics and spiritual aspects. **The Katori Berlin dojo** is the only official shibu of Otake Nobutoshi-shihan’s dojo Shinbukan in Germany and fully dedicated to the transmission and study of one martial tradition: Tenshinshƍ-den Katori Shintƍ-ryĆ«. **Come together. Write. Support each other.** ‱ Du schreibst einfach gern – egal ob Buch, Blog, Poesie oder Tagebuch? Productive Sunday Morning - Co-Working Session (Deep Work, all work welcome)
Productive Sunday Morning - Co-Working Session (Deep Work, all work welcome)
Hey everyone! I’m organising a co-working + socialising session for all of us who like to work on something (e.g. our own project, freelance or remote work) but don't feel like sitting alone at home. 🙂 To ensure that we have both **socialising** AND **working**, we will be using the so called “Pomodoro” technique: **50min of deep work** (silent), followed by **10min of break** to socialise. Then repeat! If you get into flow, you're also welcome to skip the breaks. It’s an effective way to stay focused - you can read more about it [here](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pomodoro_Technique). Anyone from any background is welcome, whatever project you are working on or whatever is your personal background. I (the host) speak English and German, so either is fine :-) ——————————————————- AGENDA: * **15min Intro** * Get to know everyone, talk about what you will work on today * **Pomodoro Session** (3x) - *Each Pomodoro session consists* *of...* * ...**50min** of uninterrupted “deep work” (no talking, no interruptions, no phones) * ...**10min** of break: share your progress with others, talk about what you are stuck on etc. * Repeat * Conclude and celebrate your progress Share your progress, socialise and get to know others 😊 ———— We'll be at the Social Hub Berlin (they have a food menu in case you get hungry). The structured part will end at 2:30pm, but you're welcome to stay longer, go for lunch together, or leave earlier. See you there đŸ©” **\*\*We'll reserve the long table. Please update your RSVP in advance if you can't attend!\*\***
Lesen. Schreiben. Teilen.
Lesen. Schreiben. Teilen.
Walk of Shame - We walk and talk about shame
Walk of Shame - We walk and talk about shame
**This event is supposed to be a fun way to meet new people whilst walking and talking on the topic of shame, and emotions.** Sometimes it’s easier to tell a stranger something we are ashamed about, instead of someone we know. This is a no-judgment space open to all. I ask you to come with an open mind and heart and a willingness to share of yourself and hold space for other peoples stories. **We’ll meet at the corner of the Lietzensee Park on Sunday 8th February at 10.30am. I'll be standing by the statue / flower bed holding a Swedish flag.** English and German language are both welcome. I host in English. **What to Expect:** **Our first walks of shame have been really powerful and I've been honoured to host two hours of connection, vulnerability and creating a space where people feel safe to unshame and come as themselves.** The intention for this event is for you to practice talking about the topics you feel are taboo, get over your shyness, and/or things that happened in your life that you feel ashamed about. Shame holds a power over you when you don’t speak it and feel it. It stops you from being able to be your true self. After a short introduction we’ll spend about 1 hour together walking through the Lietzensee Park and weather permitting we’ll also find a nice spot outside to do a circle sharing, or go to a local cafe, for those who would like to join. I like to close our time together by doing some embodiment practices / reflection exercises / answering any questions, so that you leave with tools you can use in your day to day life. If you already feel a little embarrassed about the idea of sharing then this is DEFINITELY for you. I’ve learnt that sharing of those taboo and shameful topics actually makes you realise that you were the only one making them a big thing. When you tell it, people respect and admire that you dared to share or that you overcame something difficult. People think you are brave and resilient. This forms real connection and cuts through the superficial bull-shit we all feel we have to aspire to. I’ll break the ice by sharing something I feel shame about and then we’ll pair up as we walk. There is no strict agenda, but I instigate a number of partner changes so that you have the opportunity to share individually with at least 3 other guests. With each share I hope that feeling shame in a negative sense might be dispelled and despite being out of your comfort zone, you will feel good for sharing. **What to Bring** Wrap up warm, Perhaps a small blanket to sit on and your morning drink of choice. But really nothing other than yourself. **About the Organiser** Hi I’m Kim! I’m a fun, open and energetic Swede who grew up in England and landed in Berlin 17 years ago. After a 20+ year career in design I realised I could not suppress my calling to work with people on a deeper more spiritual level. I have since retrained as a Transformative Life Coach and Emotional Release facilitator and now work predominantly in this field. I take a very holistic approach to life and work and hope that my own stories and candidness may inspire others to overcome their limiting ‘stories’ too. Other than my 1:1 work, I love to host talks, am just starting a conversational podcast interviewing men, who share powerful stories of coming out, shame, relationship troubles, addiction, late adhd diagnosis and much more. I speak at events, host mind-body connection and lifestyle workshops, all with a purpose of helping people connect to themselves on a deeper level. On a final note, beyond my career change these last years I also left an unhappy marriage after 14 years, reversed my chronic pain and many other niggling health problems through working with my emotions and nervous system, I've understood what it means to feel my feelings, regained my energy and self worth and started to co-parent my 2 kids. Do feel free to reach out and ask questions. Insta: @kimklelund and @hausoflund

Recruiting Virtual Mental Health Group Leaders!
Recruiting Virtual Mental Health Group Leaders!
We are recruiting new group leaders for virtual men's groups! Our primary groups are outdoor movement groups, but we are launching virtual groups for the state of Ohio and beyond and the groups will move outside in the spring, creating room for men's groups, women's groups and coed groups all over the country. Read below to learn about our groups and click the links at the bottom to apply. ### **What is an Outdoor Empowerment Group?** Our Outdoor Movement & Community Empowerment Groups are simple, guided experiences designed to help people reconnect with nature, themselves, and others. We combine some form of movement (hike, walk, run, bike, yoga, workout) and meaningful conversation within a simple community circle to create a space where individuals can support each other while prioritizing mental and physical well-being. Whether you’re seeking stress relief, personal growth, or community, our groups offer everyone a unique and welcoming environment. ## **Why Join?** * **Improve Mental & Physical Well-Being** – Movement, nature, and supportive conversations reduce stress and promote balance. * **Feel Less Alone** – Build genuine connections with like-minded people in a safe, welcoming space. * **Gain Clarity & Perspective** – Step outside daily routines and into a space designed for personal growth and reflection. ## **The Ideal Group Leader** The ideal group leader * Has a born-in passion for mental health, movement, connecting with nature and building community. * Has 5 extra hours per week to dedicate to a meaningful cause for at least one year. Yes, you can leave any organization at any time and we can also ask you to leave, but we are building with legacy in mind and we need people who can commit and be ALL IN on this mission to build with us. * Is independently financially stable with the ability to volunteer with no expectation of pay. This is a deeply beautiful journey of service that all participants commit to at Speak Your Mind. * An ability to manage groups with high emotional intelligence and desire for human connection. * An ability to self-motivate and market/promote their group on Facebook and other social platforms. * Nature informed therapy or clinical therapists/psychologists a plus. ## **Our Impact** ![](https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/64a6315db1eb8d081603d9ea/028252c7-347e-4196-8c79-b81d2a4db4bb/Mountaineering+Guide+Trifold+Brochure+in+Pink+White+Modern+Minimalist+Style+-+2.jpg) Since launching, we have helped thousands find support, connection, and healing through our Outdoor Movement Groups. 100% of participants surveyed have reported: * A noticeable improvement in mental clarity and emotional well-being. * An increase in social connection and a sense of belonging. * Said they would return again. We believe mental health should be accessible, community-driven, and rooted in nature. Join us and take the first step toward a more connected, grounded, and supported version of yourself. ### **Why Our Groups are Donation-Based** Our Outdoor Movement Groups are made possible through a donation-based model. This approach allows us to keep our events accessible to everyone, regardless of financial circumstances, while also ensuring that we can continue expanding our reach. It’s a great way to pay it forward and support the growth of this beautiful mission! Every contribution helps us: * **Cover Essential Costs** – Donations allow us to pay essential legal, marketing, insurance, and admin costs as well as nourish the important people who run the organization. * **Grow Our Mission** – With your support, we can bring these healing experiences to thousands more people in the future and execute our long term plan to expand across the USA, affecting up to 500,000 people per year. By choosing to contribute, you’re not just leading an event—you’re helping build a mental health movement that supports long-term well-being and connection for all during a severe mental health epidemic. ## **Come Join Us!** We’d love to have you be part of this growing community of people prioritizing their mental health, movement, and connection. đŸ”č **Visit Our Website to Learn More:** https://speakyourmind.men/joinusoutside đŸ”č **Apply Here to Lead Your Own Group!** – https://form.jotform.com/taketimespeakyourmind/sym-group-leader-application đŸ”č **Support the mission**: If you resonate with the mission and want to support, feel free to join a group before applying or donate to help us reach our goals to help more people! Men's Group meetup
**The idea for this group is to build a community where men can gather together and build connections & learn and grow from each other.** How we start each meeting is by each of us checking in with our "roses and thorns" aka what are the good things and the bad things going on in your life recently? Then we will go into a topic discussion. \-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\- **COMMUNITY AGREEMENTS** \*\*THERE WILL BE A ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY FOR NO-SHOWS. IF YOU RSVP TO A MEETING AND FAIL TO SHOW UP WITHOUT NOTICE, YOU'LL BE REMOVED FROM THE GROUP. THIS IS TO PRESERVE THE INTEGRITY OF THE GROUP\*\* 1. If a man is in violation of this, they will be permanently removed from the group. 2. Non-Judgement - we respect and honor every man’s truth so that we may receive the same from others. While we may not agree on everything, we commit to respecting every man’s perspectives and engaging in honorable discussion with one another. 3. Be committed - honor your commitment to this group and to yourself. If you attend a meeting, please commit yourself fully to the meeting. Also be committed to your own journey. When we fail, we own it & clean it up. 4. Speak from the heart - this is NOT a space to “look good”, have the “right” answers, and have it all together. Relax and know you are not alone. Be exactly who you are within the safety of this space. 5. Be supportive - This means always willing to provide encouragement to your fellow men, encourage action and momentum in each other’s lives.. Be willing to challenge each other. Be willing to hold each other accountable. 6. Participation - what you receive from this community will be a reflection of what you put into it. Period. We ask that you share your perspectives, reflect on others, and give/receive support when and where it’s needed.

Many men experience healthier relationships, personally and professionally, by engaging in this work. Open Men’s Group is a container for men to share vulnerably without receiving judgment or feedback. We believe that emotionally mature, powerful, compassionate, and purpose-driven men will help heal some of society’s deepest wounds. We support the powerful brilliance of men and we are willing to look at, and take full responsibility for, the pain we are also capable of creating – and suffering. We care deeply about men, our families, communities, and the planet. Visit ManKind Project USA to discover more. https://mkpusa.org/
