We organise a watercolour workshop for beginners; The teacher is an advanced graphic designer and painter Tiana Diakova, whose works you can check on Instagram: @diakova_art. The maximum amount of people is 10 so the teacher will be able to guide every person. The workshop is adapted to a beginner's level (every time people who never painted before are surprised with the result they achieve!) But also the process will be interesting for those who draw or paint already. Cómo la respiración puede ayudarte a regularte, escucharte y empezar un cambio profundo a través del trabajo corporal. **DESCRIPCIÓN DEL EVENTO:** ¿sabes cómo respiras y cómo influye en tu vida? La respiración como herramienta corporal para regularte y transformarte. La respiración es mucho más que una función automática o inconsciente del organismo: es una vía directa de contacto con lo que sentimos y de cómo estamos en el mundo. En esta charla exploraremos cómo la forma en que respiramos influye en nuestro estado emocional, en nuestro nivel de tensión y en nuestra capacidad para estar presentes. Es importante saber cómo respiro, cómo es mi propio patrón respiratorio. Entender cómo es una forma apropiada de respirar y reconocer mi estructura anatómica y funcional. Asumir una cierta responsabilidad y concienciación diaria de la propia ventilación. Practicar técnicas respiratorias junto con el desbloqueo de la tensión corporal para recuperar una respiración funcional y una cierta coherencia en cómo es mi forma de vivir. Todo esto va a impactar e influenciar en la gran mayoría de los sistemas del organismo. La respiración se convierte entonces en una herramienta de regulación y también de autoconocimiento. Se formularán propuestas y mostrarán metodologías para mejorar la respiración y que sea más eficiente, libre y orgánica. También se facilitará una invitación a sentir, a parar y a habitar el propio cuerpo. Lo que se presenta aquí es una introducción a un trabajo respiratorio y corporal más amplio. Un primer paso para quienes sienten que la respiración y el cuerpo tiene algo importante que decir. Este taller propone una aproximación práctica y experimental al diseño y la construcción de mobiliario a partir de sistemas de ensamblaje reversibles. Partiendo del proyecto ***Under Pressure***, exploraremos nuevas formas de construir desde lo disponible, poniendo el foco en las uniones más que en los materiales. ***Under Pressure*** surge como un sistema de ensamblaje que emplea exclusivamente materiales reciclados, unidos mediante conexiones mecánicas basadas en presión. Sin perforaciones, adhesivos ni procesos irreversibles, las piezas se sostienen a través de cables tensados. Este enfoque permite adaptarse a diferentes geometrías y responde a principios de *Design for Disassembly*: accesibilidad, desmontaje sencillo y recuperación total de los componentes. Durante el taller, trasladaremos estos principios a un contexto colectivo. Utilizaremos materiales de desecho procedentes de La Clandestina y su entorno para diseñar y construir piezas mediante sistemas de cables tensores. Cada grupo desarrollará una pieza funcional que podrá integrarse en el espacio de La Clandestina o, si se prefiere, ser llevada por sus autores. La propuesta de esta actividad es ir a visitar el estudio de la artista barcelonesa Marta Aoiz. Formada en la escuela de la Llotja, su trabajo se centra en la pintura, practicando todos sus géneros desde sus inicios como acuarelista, y extendiéndose posteriormente a la técnica del óleo. La pintura de Marta Aoiz parte de un marcado componente emocional que se transmite sobre todo a través de sus paisajes. Es en ellos, también, en los que la artista se siente más identificada, y desde los que trata de hacernos participar de su proceso creativo en tanto que “paisajes soñados” en su mente y en su estudio. Greetings writers! Come down and join your fellow wordsmiths for one hour of uninterrupted writing time in the upper level of the Market District Supermarket in Upper Arlington. The main entrance of the shopping center opens onto stairs/elevator leading up to the 2nd floor cafe section where we will have a table displaying a sign with the Shut Up & Write logo. Writing is largely a solitary craft. Practicing with others in a community setting may be the thing you need to fire your own routine. We’ll meet on Wednesday evenings, starting the clock at 6:30, following a brief period of introductions. This is solid writing time and all inclusive. Any project is acceptable, be it fiction, non -fiction, work or homework assignment. All is welcome and will remain private to you. The market boasts a Starbucks, a full service bar and various affordable food options. Parking is plentiful, free Wifi is provided as well as outlets for charging your devices, though they are somewhat limited, so plan accordingly. Show up as early as you like, or stay late. This group tends to socialize some, both before and after the alloted time, but this is not mandatory to you. Feel free to come and go as you please and late arrivals are welcome.
