Hello friends! We are the team of CaféIN, an inclusive café in Spandau, inviting you to our German language café - Sprach-CaféIN! 😎 With our language café, we aim to create a safe space for everyone to practice real German, without boring grammar exercises and books, but over coffee, conversations and new encounters :) Every person will be warmly welcome at our Sprach-CaféIN, regardless of background and origin. We are happy to see each and everyone of YOU! Our events are not about politics, as we aim to build bridges and bring people together through language and culture. Participation is free, but every participant is **required** to order at least one drink or snack at the café. This helps us support CaféIN and keep this special place alive.

An *electric* atmosphere featuring visiting pros and some of the best comedians in Berlin at the city's longest-running weekly show. There's no such thing as a bad Chuckleheads; it's as consistent as it gets. Come and find out why we have more regulars than any comedy show in Berlin. The right mix of lively yet laid-back energy in an intimate setting, with well-curated line ups. Chuckleheads is primarily for experienced comedians, though depending on the week we might have a spot for a newbie or two. Doors: 8:00 pm Showtime: 8:30 pm RESERVATIONS ARE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! We got limited seating. Book the amount of seats you need with your name and we'll have them ready for you. It is still a free-entry show, though please donate to keep the laughs coming and pay for production costs. Suggested donation is 10-20 euros. The Language Café is primarily aimed at people who are struggling with their mental health which can make it hard to go to regular courses. We want to create a safe space for everyone to learn and practise without pressure. Everyone is welcome! Please try to be on time so we can all get started together :) We mainly practise on a beginner/lower intermediate level and adapt to everyone's prior level of German. The Language Café will focus on teaching you the most important words and phrases and basic grammar in German. The content of the course is adapted to real life. (everyday life in Germany, dealing with authorities, etc.) We will cover different topics every week and you can join us anytime, since the topics do not necessarily build on each other. The goal of our first meeting is to get to know eachother and practice Italian and German. Please don’t be afraid that your language skills might not be sufficiently good or that you are a beginner. If so, meet with us to make friends and have some good conversations. We begin by sharing the languages we speak fluently and the ones we are learning. Then we split into groups and speak! You can switch groups as often as you'd like. The goal is to speak about interesting, thought-provoking topics - not just the typical introductions we usually make. At our last meetups we spoke: German, Ukranian, English, French, Hebrew, Russian, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Hindi, Chinese, Greek, Japanese, Turkish, Polish, Swedish, Arabic, Norwegian, and Dutch. Das ist eine tolle Möglichkeit, neue Wörter zu lernen (auch deutschen Slang) oder einfach entspannt Deutsch zu üben.

While some are still meeting online, this is an in person event. Please note that we have attendees of all levels of speaking, including some native speakers. All are welcome!
