We will be playing every Sunday from 11:00 AM to 01:00 PM. **Very important: this event is for you if your level is intermediate or any higher level above that. 🏸🙂** **If you're joining us for the first time, the organizer will contact you directly to confirm that you have the required level for this event.** Feather shuttlecock will be used for this event, and it will be provided by the host. The location: Tennispoint, Baumgasse 87, 1030 Wien The Price: We try our best to provide you with the best price in Vienna. You will be paying 10 euros for 2 hours. How to pay: We accept card payments and cash (card payments are preferred) Number of players: It depends on how many courts we get, 6 for 1 court and about 10-11 for 2 courts (so we can take a small break between matches) Remember to bring your own racket please, or you can rent one at the reception for about 3 euros **Cancellation policy:** 1- Canceling 48 hours before the event = free cancellation 2- Cancellation after the 48-hour deadline = we will ask you kindly to pay the event fee if we are not able to find a suitable replacement. We start our tour at the northern end of the Steinspornbrücke, an ideal starting point for exploring the Lobau. **Route and terrain:** The tour takes us through the beautiful nature of the Lobau, part of the Nationalparks Donau-Auen. The terrain consists of 90% gravel and crushed stone paths, which vary in thickness. It is therefore important that your bike is suitable for such conditions (e.g., gravel or mountain bike). The route is very flat. **Length and pace:** The total distance is approximately 32 km. We will ride at an average speed of about 21-22 km/h (without significant head wind), which is a moderate pace for experienced cyclists. Please only participate if you feel fit enough to do so! This is our weekly event! ----------------- Hey Badminton Enthusiasts! This meet-up is for all levels: beginners, intermediates and experts. Everyone is welcome to join, test their skills and have some fun together! The host will reserve courts in advance, that means please only register if you really plan to come (or cancel at least 24 hours before the event starts). The fee for this event is 12€ (for the 2 hours). If you plan on paying in cash, please bring the exact amount as the host might not have any change available. We are meeting at about 10:25 am near the reception by the lounge area (next to the courts). Come a bit earlier so you have time to change into workout/sports clothes. The locker rooms are free to use, but for the men lockers you need a padlock - or you can also take your bag of clothes upstairs to the courts if you do not have a padlock. Also, bring clean indoor sports shoes, your racket and a water bottle with you. There is a drinking fountain available if you need to replenish your bottle. If you do not have a racket, it is possible to rent rackets from the club, if necessary (3€). Sometimes the host or other members have spare rackets - please ask in the comment section below! This is CSC’s largest activity with over 200 participants. Each team typically consists of 6 men and 6 women players. Our members also plan group activities such as visits to wine tastings, bike trips, comedy clubs, concerts, plays and local sports games, etc. CSC membership is not required to belong to the Meetup group. **How does a TennisColumbus Season / League run?** The league advertises the season dates and builds a queue of committed players for the season. **Kickoff Day - March 26th** The start day of the season, players are sent a kickoff email that contains important information about the league, the link where your league standings and players contact information. We guarantee 6 playing partners at your playing level, but have been averaging closer to 15+ partners in most cities. The number of different levels we run is solely based upon the number of players enrolled for the league kickoff. Typically we are running a Skilled-3.0, Competitive-3.5 and Advanced-4.0 in most cities. **Your Task - "Flexible Scheduling"** After this kickoff email is sent, it is the **player's task to communicate with other players**. Players should work with their partners to find an agreeable time and location to play the match. While TennisColumbus doesn't mandate your playing schedule, it is recommended that players schedule at least one match per week. By request of the players, we started to allow players to play 1 rematch per season. The regular season is all about playing as much as you can. As of Feb. 10, 2026 we've had an amazing 2,017 players play more than [20 matches in a season](https://www.tenniscolumbus.com/info/MatchesInSeason). **Where to Play?** Play at your local free tennis courts, tennis parks, condo courts or tennis clubs. The league strongly suggests that players jointly try to pick a tennis court location convenient to both. We provide an extensive list of [tennis courts](https://www.tenniscolumbus.com/TennisCourts), including # of courts, lighting, hitting walls, etc. We strive to keep this list up-to-date. TennisColumbus sets up a must play dates to push players out on the courts. The final deadline is the date marking the end of the season, at which point players with 3-5 wins (Actually total is specified on the division page) will qualify for a post-season playoff to determine the league champion. **How to Play?** Players can use three mostly standard playing formats: 2 out of 3 sets, 2 sets with 10 point super tie-breaker or the 10-game pro set (First to 10, used when court time is limited). On Feb. 2018, we added Fast Tennis 4 game pro set format as a valid format. **Playoffs** Each season concludes with a playoffs where players with anywhere from 3 to 5 season wins qualifies for a single elimination tourney.
