Join us for our regular Tuesday evening playing Padel. **How we play** Intermediate and Advanced Players are welcome (no beginners on Tuesday, please join us on Friday or Sunday instead). Number of courts depends on the number of players * 4-7 players: one court * 8-11 players: two courts * 12-15 players: three courts Ideally, 6, 10 or 14 players are attending * Then you play two matches in a row and then take a break * A match is played in a single set. First team reaching four games wins the match. We play a minimum of six games per set (means even after 4:0 you still play two more games in this set) If an odd number of players are attending, we adapt to the situation Teams are mixed all the time. So you will play with/against different players during the event * Teams are put together based on their skill level * We focus on having balanced teams **Price** * 10 € for 1h * 17 € for 2h * If you need a racket, you can rent it from us for 2 € (limited number available). Otherwise you can always rent from the venue for 5 € * We use the money to cover the courts rent, base-subscription for renting, providing balls and rackets **Cancellation** * Please cancel at least 4h before the event. Otherwise you have to pay the fee for one hour * We understand that sometimes unexpected things can come up. However, not showing up and failing to let us know is considered disrespectful and goes against our community spirit. Everyone is welcome to join, test their skills and have some fun together! We are meeting at about 07:50 pm near the reception by the lounge area (next to the courts). Come a bit earlier so you have time to change into workout/sports clothes. The locker rooms are free to use. Also, bring clean indoor sports shoes, your racket and a water bottle with you. There is also a drinking fountain available if you need to replenish your bottle. Hey Badminton Enthusiasts! **This meet-up is only for intermediate players and up!** Everyone is welcome to join our large weekly events, test their skills and have some fun together! However, ***this event is for the people that want to push their skill forward and would like to play during the week as well.*** The host will reserve courts in advance, that means please only register if you really plan to come (or cancel at least 24 hours before the event starts). The fee for this event is 12€: If you plan on paying in cash, please bring the exact amount as the host might not have any change available You can also pay via card on the spot We are meeting at about 19.25 pm near the reception by the lounge area (next to the courts). Come a bit earlier so you have time to change into workout/sports clothes. The locker rooms are free to use, but for the men lockers you need a padlock - or you can also take your bag of clothes upstairs to the courts if you do not have a padlock. Also, bring clean indoor sports shoes, your racket and a water bottle with you. If you are just passing through town and do not have a racket, it is possible to rent rackets, either from the club or from us. Join us for a tour of Brothers Drake Meadery in Grandview, hosted by the owner Oron Benary. He will explain the mead-making process and offer us generous samples of their fine meads. Mead is basically wine that is made from honey instead of grapes. There are many different flavors that range from dry, semi-dry, semi-sweet, to sweet. They are best known for their Apple Pie Mead. Oron has offered us a special price of 5.00 each person for the tour and tasting, which is normally 25.00 per person. I've taken the tour several times, and it's always enlightening and fun. Rebecca will bring a tea that will pair well with the mead for a tea tasting afterwards. Park anywhere around the building. Please avoid parking in front of the houses in the neighborhood behind the Meadery. Please keep your RSVP current.
