Please join us for a fun evening of pickleball at the Fairgrounds (Cloverdale Mall) This is a combined event with Swansea Pickleball players. Afterwards dinner at Bellona (Jane St) at 7.45 pm. where we will have a 50/50 and giveaways. Our group will have 5 courts of doubles. Players step off now and again and rotate onto courts of their choice. Pickleball paddles can be rented for $5, but I can try to borrow an extra paddle or two? The game: You will be required to have some knowledge of pickleball play. It is a simple game and a lot like tennis in some ways. Please watch u-tube the rules of pickleball, and how to play. The scoring is a little different and it is important to take extra time to familiarize yourself with it. There will be one court designated for beginners. There are no coaches, which is why you will need to do a bit of research if you have never played before. As a tennis player you will already be decent at the pickleball game.
