We will try as a group of random people to sit down and talk about emotions or personal challenges. Not necessarily to find a solution or an improvement, but to share perspectives and maybe discover new perspectives. Some people like to talk, some like to listen, at the start of each event, declare if you would prefer to participate in the discussion or prefer to listen in and chime in with an occasional question. If only danish speaking people are coming we will speak danish, if there are non danish speaking people coming we will speak English. On Sunday the 1st of March, we meet up for the eye contact experiment. 😊 Breathe, connect and enjoy eye contact. 😌 At the eye contact experiment, you simply look people in the eyes for an extended amount of time. You don't talk or make gestures, you simply perceive and discover what happens. (of course, you can talk afterwards) Experiences vary and you must discover for yourself what it means. We know it can be an exciting, frightening, exhilarating thing to even to think about at first. But we can guarantee that it is worth it. During the eye contact, anything can happen. From emotions to thoughts, to wonderful connections and more. Every person has different experiences, yet the common denominator is that it allows you to connect with yourself and to others. It is an opportunity to be more present, to gain stability, raise your mood and to improve your confidence. Many also make good friends and the longer you do it, the more you get out of it. Hi everyone! We’re excited to have the second event of the CPH AI Impact Network! After our good kickoff event at the end of January we’ve met and brainstormed and decided for our next event on March 1, 11-13, at Studiestræde 24. For this two hour event we will feature two presentations, one technical and one with a societal focus. Picture the Grand Ball scenes like you’ve seen in period films such as “Pride and Prejudice”, where the dancers are lined up in long lines, across from each other. That’s English Country Dancing, the predecessor of contra dancing. Now, add moves like “swing your partner” and “do-si-do,” like you’ve seen in square dancing. Set it to fabulous, high energy, live music with fiddles, guitars, percussion and more, alá “Riverdance.” Finally, set the whole scene down in the middle of Woodstock, with a hip, groovy atmosphere, a bit of tie-dye, and hints of counter-culture attitude. THAT’s Contra Dancing! Wear cool and comfortable clothes (you will get warm) and clean shoes that won't mark up our nice wood floor. Be sure to come for the beginner's lesson from 7:30 - 8:00, followed by dancing 8:00 - 10:30. All dances are taught; we will help you learn! Beginners always welcome, no need to bring a partner.
