AI x Design Copenhagen - 4th Edition **Cursor In Practice (Deep Dive): From Figma To Working Website - Making Interfaces Actually Behave** **[Please register on Luma to receive details about the event: https://luma.com/ph7xqr4m](https://luma.com/ph7xqr4m)** It’s never been easier to generate an interface and still surprisingly hard to make one behave properly. This session sits exactly in that tension. We’ll take a real Figma design and use Cursor to turn it into a working website - not as a demo, but as a hands-on session where you’ll work through it yourself. Where it’s smooth, you’ll feel it. Where it’s messy, you’ll understand why. ## You'll need: • A laptop (fully charged) • Cursor installed • A Cursor account (free/hobby is fine) • A Figma account (free is fine) *If you arrive without setup, you won’t get much out of the session.* ## **Light Pre-Work:** **👉 There will be light pre-work shared ahead of time with everyone registered in Luma - keep an eye on your e-mail closer to the workshop.** Find all information here: [https://luma.com/ph7xqr4m](https://luma.com/ph7xqr4m) ## **About the speaker** > Justin Waugh (he/him) loves good UX and doesn't like to give in easily. When he's not running front-end & UX workshops, he leads development and design teams as a UX Strategist within the UN or writes about good UX. With over 30 years of hybrid design/developer experience, he's always been fascinated by the intersection of technology and human behaviour. With an MA from Hyper Island under his belt, Justin specializes in user-centric design, effective IT leadership, and innovative UX strategies and has a sharpened sense of how to think about users, systems, and the subtle art of making technology feel human. > In sessions, Justin brings his trademark mix of practical insight and creative curiosity. Expect an honest look at what makes interfaces work and why they often don’t. His sessions are known for being hands-on, combining design thinking with real-world technical grounding. **Host:** l x l - learning experience lab **Co-Host:** IxDF - Interaction Design Foundation, Copenhagen **Location:** Station, Howitzvej 30, 2000 Frederiksberg, Denmark 🎟 **Places are limited. If you have an exam coming up, we can speak about your exam subjects some of the time. Small donations (10-20 kroner) are appreciated, to support the rent of the place. You find us in the basement of Korsgade 19. It is a door to the right of the main entrance.

Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer
Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer
In April, we'll read [Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/60869516-into-the-wild) Synopsis: **Krakauer’s page-turning bestseller explores a famed missing person mystery while unraveling the larger riddles it holds: the profound pull of the American wilderness on our imagination; the allure of high-risk activities to young men of a certain cast of mind; the complex, charged bond between fathers and sons.** **"Terrifying... Eloquent... A heart-rending drama of human yearning." —New York Times** In April 1992 a young man from a well-to-do family hitchhiked to Alaska and walked alone into the wilderness north of Mt. McKinley. He had given $25,000 in savings to charity, abandoned his car and most of his possessions, burned all the cash in his wallet, and invented a new life for himself. Four months later, his decomposed body was found by a moose hunter. How Christopher Johnson McCandless came to die is the unforgettable story of Into the Wild. Immediately after graduating from college in 1991, McCandless had roamed through the West and Southwest on a vision quest like those made by his heroes Jack London and John Muir. In the Mojave Desert he abandoned his car, stripped it of its license plates, and burned all of his cash. He would give himself a new name, Alexander Supertramp, and, unencumbered by money and belongings, he would be free to wallow in the raw, unfiltered experiences that nature presented. Craving a blank spot on the map, McCandless simply threw the maps away. Leaving behind his desperate parents and sister, he vanished into the wild. Jon Krakauer constructs a clarifying prism through which he reassembles the disquieting facts of McCandless's short life. Admitting an interst that borders on obsession, he searches for the clues to the drives and desires that propelled McCandless. When McCandless's innocent mistakes turn out to be irreversible and fatal, he becomes the stuff of tabloid headlines and is dismissed for his naiveté, pretensions, and hubris. He is said to have had a death wish but wanting to die is a very different thing from being compelled to look over the edge. Krakauer brings McCandless's uncompromising pilgrimage out of the shadows, and the peril, adversity, and renunciation sought by this enigmatic young man are illuminated with a rare understanding--and not an ounce of sentimentality. Mesmerizing, heartbreaking, Into the Wild is a tour de force. The power and luminosity of Jon Krakauer's stoytelling blaze through every page.

Personal development discussion: 3 topics to choose, topics in description
Personal development discussion: 3 topics to choose, topics in description
ENG The topics we will vote to discuss are Procrastination, Inner dialogue and Self sabotage. 2 emotion topics and 1 personal challenges topic to vote for discussion. We will try as a group of random people to sit down and talk about emotions or personal challenges. Not necessarily to find a solution or an improvement, but to share perspectives and maybe discover new perspectives. Some people like to talk, some like to listen, at the start of each event, declare if you would prefer to participate in the discussion or prefer to listen in and chime in with an occasional question. If only danish speaking people are coming we will speak danish, if there are non danish speaking people coming we will speak English.

**Hi everyone!** I’m David, and I’d love to start a social bouldering club for anyone who wants to climb, hang out, and meet new people! I will arrange a meetup climbing event every 2nd week or once a month, at different climbing gyms around the city. The focus is on: • Climbing and challenging ourselves • Being social and building a fun community • Training together – all levels welcome I’ve been climbing for about 1.5 years, so I’m still in my learning phase, but I’m more than happy to help beginners get started and share the basics with anyone who’s new. We will climb at **Beta Boulder at Vanløse the 2 May @ 14.00** o’clock. If people want, we might go for a drink or a bit of food afterwards. There will be a short warm up, focusing on climbing and mobility. If you want to join in on that, otherwise drop in when ever. If you’re interested in joining, just drop a comment. Looking forward to climbing with you all! **What Is Bouldering?** Bouldering is a type of climbing done at low heights — usually up to around 4–5 meters — **without ropes or harnesses**. Instead, there are thick mats on the floor for safety. There is an entrance fee and renting of climbing shoes, which you can rent at the location, and so cloth where you can be flexible. Climbs are short “problems” or routes that you try to solve using balance, technique, and strength. Some are easy, some are challenging, and you can always choose the level that fits you. Bouldering is also very social — people often help each other, share tips, cheer each other on, and have fun together. It’s perfect for meeting new people while getting a good workout.
