I do wish the weather would make it's mind up! - Or at least the forecasters. One minute we're due a heatwave, amber alerts are in place, hosepipe bans at the ready, the next it's raining. Oh well, this is Ireland after all, so lets go and have a run and a beer to discuss all afterwards. This week, whatever the weather does, we will be heading around the streets of South Dublin and ending up at **Murphy's in Rathmines**, always a welcoming hostelry, so come along and join us all, you know it makes sense. For newcomers, our Group Runs are great fun, safe for all, and once the run is complete, we can share a beer, have a good chat, make new friends, and look forward to the following week. There's been a bit of demand for a meet-up on the south side of the city so we're going to trial a new location. You'll find us in the main bar. This is a casual meet up for people who want to play boardgames. Lots of people bring plenty of games and rules will always be explained so don't worry if you're new to the hobby and you don't have anything to bring along or think you won't know how to play. Late comers always welcome, you just might have to wait a little for a game to open up. **The meet ups are free of charge but we do ask that people support the bar by buying food and/or drink. The bar is very accommodating to us and it's important that we support them in return. Make to the most of the bright evenings and join us for a social cycle out to Howth Village. Total distance 25 km. Mostly flat with an optional climb up to the Summit. Here is our plan for the evening. 1️⃣. We leave at 7.00pm from the sails sculpture on Clontarf Road. 2️⃣. Cycle out to Sutton Cross along the coastal cycle path 3️⃣. Jugger is a fast paced but easy to pick up sport that is great for beginners. Its like a combination of tag rugby and fencing and is a great way to meet new people and then hit them with a padded stick. Its light contact and the only gear you need to bring is clothing you are comfortable running around in and some water.

See if it’s true for you at 10AM on Saturday mornings. Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, resume, melody, poem or just plain work stuff, you are invited to write it with us. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done.
